@@spiddyman0079 I can kind of agree with that. Like he can't wall crawl over a tiny bump at times? I thought they made up for it with the perfect Web slinging tho.
Ben F yeah. It is good webslinging but I still prefer the better control you get with Spider-Man 2. I feel like this webslinging is too automatic. You get better control at high speeds in this game but in Spider-Man 2 you have so much more control at low speeds. Only problem I have with Spider-Man 2s webslinging is that you can’t yo-yo in the city. In Spider-Man 3 you could yo-yo anywhere by pressing up on the d pad. We need Spider-Man 2 phyicscs in the next Spider-Man game. Also we need web zips that don’t feel scripted like in this game. We need ultimate Spider-Man web zips in the next game.
The web swinging is sooo much better in this than spiderman 2. Like so much better that it's laughable to still hear people say this. Take off the nostalgia goggles.
I will be honest, this part came on and I was full on bawling because I loved Aunt May! And the fact that she knew, broke me! 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
This scene is so emotionally gripping in so many ways. I tear up every single time I watch it, no matter how much time has passed since I've first watched it.
KDSI Films is it sad that I like really don’t feel emotion like this scene made me feel nothing and in my school when somebody starts crying cause they are getting bullied I just don’t feel anything like i try to feel bad but I can’t I have no emotion 😐 I’m not joking.
I am sorry but that was foreshadowed way before actual ending, so i had no reason to such strong reaction as tears,if game prepares you for major bad event its way easier to accept it
I see this Scene like 15 times and Every time i Cry like a baby The expressions, the music, the dialoges, the context, the story behind This game is a Masterpiece
I really think that Stan Lee would've been floored by this scene. It's everything he loved to do with Peter's character since the beginning, that perfect impossible choice that _needs_ to be made and only _he_ can make it. I don't really get emotional during video games, but when he held the vial up to her IV, hesitated, the music swelled, and then just _shouted_ as he pulled it away, knowing the great responsibility he had on his shoulders...it was so classic, quintessential, tragic Spider-Man. I genuinely got choked up.
Why do you feel bad for him bro he literally want's to Norman to tell the truth by release a deadly bioweapon to all people in the city AND Peter literally lose everyone including his mother and father and his uncle and his Aunt. Even though his has MJ and Miles but still it Otto faults.
@@d00dy1 his mind changed when he implanted the arms. He was already having problems but the infusion magnified that and messed with everything in the brain like personality and choice making (not a scientist obviously but I do recall Peter speaking on that subject)
My favorite thing about this scene is May doesn't beg for him to let her go, because she knows she doesn't need to. She knows she raised a good nephew, a good son, and that he's going to do the right thing no matter how hard it is.
I'm gonna be honest, this was probably the last game I expected to get me into tears but it did. I mean... I.... I wasn't crying, there was something in my eye.
@@bendytheinkdevil5819 Ben said that. May said, "When you help somebody, you help everybody." She was wrong though. Sometimes, to help everybody, you have to NOT help somebody.
The music was orchestrated perfectly, growing subtle in those emotional moments and rising in volume and speed in those moments of extreme decision making. Great game with a magnificent story. Well done insomniac 9/10
When i was playing for the first time for some reason i didn't hear the flatline, but only the beeps before that. So when the camera cut to her grave later in the end, my jaw dropped so fuckin hard. I felt like Insomniac took such a big risk with this death, but they played their cards so well with the story that it was worth it in the end.
Audio omission bugs aren't unheard of in this game. There's a fairly popular lp where, during the cutscene revealing the Sinister Six, for some reason only Spidey's voice clips were playing and everyone else was just mouthing words.
I'm glad they did this because most other spider-man products have her get better so I'm glad someone finally killed her off but at the same time that's sad as hell.
So with his Uncle Ben, he could have prevented his death and didn't, granted he didn't know what would happen. And so here, he could have prevented his aunt's death, but again didn't, knowing full well what would happen. This was gut-wrenching to watch.
The voice acting in this game is so amazing. Aunt May's weak voice struggling to tell Peter how proud she is and giving him the push he needs to do the right thing along with Peter's broken voice holding back tears then finally letting go and accepting the reality of the situation. Oh and that crying from Peter at the end is honestly the biggest part of what makes it feel so real to me. I cant explain it but it feels like real grief. Like thats the type of grief and struggle Id hear if this was a real life situation and i was in the room to witness it. I could gush all day but im sure im not the only one who thinks this. The VA in this game deserve oscars. Its that good in my opinion.
The part when he said “I don’t know what to do” was really what made me cry, he really doesn’t know what to do and that shows that even the bravest hero’s sometimes don’t know what to do..... Rest In Peace Aunt May.
Jameson don't know that Peter is Spiderman which is fucking retarded if you ask me, considering it was Peter who kept taking those authentic photos of "Spiderman" in dangerous situations And selling them to his newspaper company. We can say Jameson is an oxymoron he was basically Alex Jones in this game.
Christian Pishotta the worst Spider-man comic series so far. After civil war & Peter Parker reveal his identitiy publicly, villains starts to targetting aunt may & shot her. No doctors can help her & no other heroes willing to save her (for some stupid reasons). Mephisto, a demon, willing to help in exchange : his marriage with MJ gets retconned/erased from reality, and spidey agrees with it
I cry every time I watch this scene and don't lie, I know you did too! The acting is absolutely amazing and the dialogue punches you right in the gut. It's a powerful scene that shows you the hard choices that Peter has to make everyday and the consequences of being Spiderman. It's a moving ending to an incredible game.

Insomniac made the BEST Spider-Man game ever made. From the graphics, gameplay, combat, story, and characters. It's a work of art.
masterknight07 swinging tho. Still ultimate Spider-Man’s webzip is the best and Spider-Man 2s swinging is the best.
The wall crawling in this game is fucking ass

I felt bad for Dr. Octavius at the end. Bro, that was SAD! He was Peter’s surrogate father after Uncle Ben, and goes rogue. Just depressing
Why do you feel bad for him bro he literally want's to Norman to tell the truth by release a deadly bioweapon to all people in the city AND Peter literally lose everyone including his mother and father and his uncle and his Aunt. Even though his has MJ and Miles but still it Otto faults.

Audio omission bugs aren't unheard of in this game. There's a fairly popular lp where, during the cutscene revealing the Sinister Six, for some reason only Spidey's voice clips were playing and everyone else was just mouthing words.
