The thing that makes this game truly scary is the effect the audio has on the situation, you literally feel more calm as the siren slows down and becomes quieter and you know something bad is about to happen as it picks up again
I've read somewhere that the reason the sounds are so scary it's because they give you the sensation of being incredibly overwhelmed by the killer, which is why these games are so terrifying And yeah, it's quite true xD

Puppet combo did so good with this. I wish more horror games gave enemies behaviors like the Nun in this. If you dont know, she can behave in a ton of strange ways to spook the player instead of just wildly attacking on sight. One of the scariest games made imo.

Still one of the most well executed uses of jumpscare ever. The fact it just cuts to the credits is the cherry on top. The Nun will sometimes hide in rooms and wait for you to pass by too lol. Nun Massacre is A+ stuff.

There are some tips for this game: 1: CROUCH, she can’t hear you if you crouch, running or waking makes noise. 2 NO LIGHTS: avoid using lights while moving she can see you, if you need to hide turn it off, she can see you under the bad with the lighter(even she did not see you going under) 3: TRACKER: using the tracker to see her position is useless, because is not perfect and precise(also it’s gonna take you one free space) 4: IN A CHASE: During a chase turn off lights, hide in a corner, under a bad or in the vent, this is how you avoid her. Good luck 😂
