Worth Moving from Helium to Xnet?

- In fear I'd never get my 5G FreedomFi miner up and running on the Helium Network, I started researching alternatives like Xnet, which would allow me to use my CBCR Radio with their system such as with the XG1 Marconi. However the numbers for early adoption of the XO1 Lucius were better. That said, is the token value worth it?

How do you feel about this project now after the ETH Denver conference? Today tokens are 8 cents so 2000 free tokens means it would only cost $60 for the unit and get in pretty early yet? Thoughts? Nice video of all the DEPIN there btw.
My Baicells Nova 430 is collecting dust since the Helium switch to mobile(5G) vs IOT/HNT. So the Marconi sounds like a great reuse of it.
Congrats on your miner being up! 🎉
Thanks! 😁 More to come on that!
Can I turn my mobile hotspot to 5g by adding an outdoor antenna?
I wish! But the hotspot is wifi. Not 5G.
So what was wrong with your miner? Does it just take a long time to show up on the map after activation, or was it some technical issue?
Technical issues.
@DoItJustinKace I see. I'm glad you were able to get things sorted out. I'm still waiting for mine to come online. I swapped the cables hoping that would help. Alas, no luck.

Is the bobcat miner and hnt mining no longer working?
You can’t mind HNT anymore. It’s IOT or mobile.
Interesting, got my attention. I like alternatives and new investments.
Agreed. Worth watching. If their token goes to $0.01 I'll be more interested.
Where I can I buy the xnet token?

Completely agree, the value should come from if you believe the network/coin/token has a chance of having actual utility and widespread use. If you believe it will take off, you should "invest" now and wait for the returns to come later. However in some cases "invest" can mean just outright buying the coin/token versus mining it. Some will win big, most will lose however so prepare accordingly. For me XNET is a nope right now.
Also looks like they just has a bunch of their wallets get hacked. So not great. But I feel like it's worth watching.
Worth it 😎
I’m still debating
So, what do you think about their new product being only $200. Are you now going to buy-in? It will come with 2000 reward tokens.
No. You get 2000 and that's it. No one will connect to it. The others at least have data transfer. But that said I'm told only the wifi does data right now.
@@DoItJustinKace might be something to think about? 200 as an entry point into their ecosystem. 2000 tokens to earn, then 500 per month? Cheaper than a helium Hotspot (I got indoor). Polygon will continue to adopt & grow.
I did . Im done with helium. Tired of the never ending hips and they are killing my cbrs radios
@@user-kw4um9im9f you were supposed to convert your hnt to solana on the app months ago bro that miner paid itself off a few times
token .11 now, im curious to know if you revisited the project
At the moment I’m not revisiting it, because the only way you can get rewards is through data transfer.
@@DoItJustinKace lol that caught me off guard, I just knew you grabbed that 199 unit and stuck it in a nail salon. Thanks for the response...
@@LivingInDallasTexas The Helium indoor hotspot also pays you just for proof of coverage as well as data transfer. Xnet Wi-Fi only does data transfer. At least that’s what they told me when I talked to the guys at Xnet. The data transfer is also only for AT&T.
@@DoItJustinKace between my wife and kids, I do enjoy the helium hotspot data transfer rewards/mapping. they be racking up the data on them phones.
I'm in the SF bay area.. just did my application. Seems like a good project.. The first line of the WhitePaper: "The United Nations consider connectivity to be a human right, yet many parts of the US and the world lack cost effective, reliable mobile wireless service".. kind of rooting for this team as they want to do some good for humanity
Are you doing the Wi-Fi or a CBRS?
@@DoItJustinKace They never hit me back haha
Brooooo, what about this new miner??? The 200 dollar one??? What u think????
You’re only gonna get rewarded based off of data transfer. It does transfer data for ATT. So if you buy one, you will need to put it somewhere that people who have ATT can use it. Otherwise you’re going to get nothing.
@@DoItJustinKaceI bought one set it up in friends business and that thing is moving a ton of att data its also moving cricket mobile. Very happy with it. Might move all my cbrs radios there if hip 113 passes. The wifi gang are destroying the chrs radios.
@@thunderroad7289 yea I set up three of those at family business and they are moving a lot of data for ATT. Im moving my radios from helium ive had enough of those jerks. And that capcom is a full blown idiot. Guy gets on there and acts like he knows all. The guy is a complete idiot and it shows
Good job Justin. You definitely got me thinking!!! Congrats on the 5g😅😅
Thanks! I’ll let you know when I earn some MOBILE!
Interesting
Thanks!
I am so tempted to sell half of my honey tokens to buy a 5g radio unit
Ha! Don't you think Honey is going to go even higher? And you really need to check the planner to see if it's worth it. The process has been a total pain.
@DoItJustinKace I do believe honey has alot of room to go up. The planner showed about 76 bucks a day at current price. I also live right next to a school
@@ronaldholden1870 did you compare this with the outdoor Wi-Fi set up? don’t fix the problems with the CBRS cell, you won’t see much rewards in the future. That’s the issue I’m dealing with right now. That said, those numbers sound like they’re worth investigating.
The answer has been - yes for months RIP FreedomFi
boo
Awe, what?
Justin we all know you abandon Helium when things got tough. Not a good look
Can you block people on youtube? Cause all of your comments suck
Can’t say I agree. Do these companies have loyalty to you?
What’s your point, Helium did a lot to their community and their initial product was never going to have mass adoption. This is a really strange comment.
I gotta say, he's always been honest that he don't give fcuk about the network or the community. Just makin bank, lol.
Why should we stay when helium clowns want to kill our radios.
