I'm surprised at the power-it's more than we'll ever need, and we've not even used the most powerful setting yet.I've cleaned off a dirty concrete porch to get it ready for sealing, started to clean siding, and I know this pressure washer will be terrific for cleaning tools this fall.The only issue we had is we had turned around the hose connector, and it leaked. Once it was on correctly, though, we had no problems with the connection. Just remember that the end with the green knob goes towards the hose. It's obvious now what we did wrong, but not necessarily obvious at the time.

Hey bro, you may already do it, but spraying an APC (caustic / higher on the pH scale) will neutralize the acidity of an acid based cleaner. Rinsing it with water doesn’t always neutralize that acid eating. Can cause damage if it’s strong enough. Just lookin out
You are probably the first one outside my country (Italy) to use acid on wheels. We use cromobrill made by Mafra. Works great, 5 min and your alloys are perfect without touching them

Someone looking for a quick $40 wash at their house not a real detail. "thank you sir, have a good day". Not convincing you that $150 for a sedan mobile detail at my level is quite fair for my area. I had a few contract deals and run in to the same thing. They want bulk work, think that entitles them to a 80% discount, and want me to provide concourse level results while telling me they dont need me to complete all my normal steps or use my normal products. I have a standard and a standard price. Not going to undercut anything. Especially when you ask me to do a $150 job for 40 because of volume. Nah Im good. The 10 cars they might give me per week, eat up 2-3 full days when I could've made the same money with 2 cars. KEEP GOING BRO

Where do you get your rim acid from? I've tried so many and they don't seem to do the job. I used to work for a detailer and here's a quick tip you can use that rim acid for windows with hard water spots but make sure you don't get it on your paint and your windows will be crispy!

I ain't messing with fleets. They don't pay enough. So I started doing houses that's where the money at easy. 450$ 1 hour spraying chem and water. I'm at that point where I'm pulling off on jobs to only 9 months in.
Ive seen mobile detailers who do a what ever job and leave in an hour one time i hired a mobile detailer to seat extract my lexus IS300 car he did the main carpet but as soon as it dried looked the same with dirt still stuck into the fibers... i didnt like it so i did some research and started detailing bought my own extractor as well steamer ect... everything thats needed there are lazy detailers who call themselves "detailers".... but dont know sh*t about detailing they can only wash a car and vacuum it how ever and leave dirt behind
Let me tell you the things I've seen first hand with cooperate companies. They absolutely do NOT care about third party companies especially small, independent contractors. They will paint a pretty picture of guarantee work for a "certain amount of time" in exchange for lower prices. Oh boy, when they no longer need third party services they will drop them like a bag of potatoes and they can care less about any contracts of agreement. That's why some third party companies get smart and ask a portion of the money upfront incase a contract is breached.
I have been loving the videos! From one videographer to another, I would look into a ND Filter, it will help the background not be so blown out by the sun. Just trying to help you out. Continue the Grind!
Prior to any work being done the estimate should of been contingent on future vehicles. Ex. 1-5 vehicles $250. Lot doesn’t look like it has a lot of work there as these vehicles are cake work. 5-10 vehicles $175 Also keep in mind I don’t know your travel time etc etc. these examples are just numbers. $250 for a pickup is ridiculous. Not sure if that Over exaggerated. My opinion of course.
I’ve got the same line for every window shopper! “After taxes, chemicals, insurance etc. I’m not sure I can deliver a high quality service at your budget. If you need it, there are lots of Soapy Joes that offer $15 subscriptions locally in California. However I’m always available if you need top quality service & superior results. 🤘” Sometimes you’re just sick of wasting time on the phone and ready to get back to work for people who are going to happily pay your price without haggles!!
Also, the wheel acid, awesome. I stepped down a level for most of my dirty wheels though because it is strong. I use LA's Totally Awesome for non painted/finished wheels and zero scrubbing. Plus its super cheap. Blows people's minds. Its the small details that stick out the most.
Are u talking about LA’s totally awesome wheel cleaner? It comes in like a black bottle? I bought it at dollar tree, it looks like it’s literally going to clean the wheels like the more expensive stuff
So you can still use asid on rims. Just make sure its tge rite percentage. On aluminium make sure it's like 30% aside! Rince in 60 seconds or you will turn with perminate PEE pee stains. Now on Dipped Crome rims your all gd do 50 50 rince after 5 min rite away.6 inches spray of any asid always!!. Tine management nothing g more dangerous I this industry of a product then wax lol. What would you charge for a range rover, a nissan rouge and two small cars. Nothing crazy more like maintenance, interior and exterior. Asking so I know what i should charge. Quoted a customer at $500 but i feel like i went too low. Thanks in advance!!!
In my experience when “what do you charge?” is the first question for any product/service you’re talking to a person that doesn’t want to spend money. I bet dude on the phone was thinking $25 max.
The only thing I would say, is be careful working with larger businesses like this most of them have a policy of wanting net 30 terms, which often turns into net 16 at 90 and other words they pay you when they want to pay you if they pay you, it sucks because the work is great and the opportunity is good, but you really have to be careful not to become a bank and have all your cash flow tied up in their business. It’s a matter of when do you get paid
Yes. You could possibly remove the acid stains with sanding and polishing. But it’s best to avoid. Only use in small sections when hot. Always use water to cool the surface then apply acid to wheel or paint and rinse off before it dries.

It's not about lazy deatailer, They might be commercial detailers, spray down and wash is all they do. and it's like $20 a car.

Some tips for working with acid. Never spray on a hot wheel, never let it dry, and don’t spray on bare aluminum wheels. Always keep it labeled.

I always charge what I would for a normal detail. If they habe multiple at once, I'll lower it a bit. That's it though.
I notice alot of detailers have hose cracks, no matter which brand, tier they use. Imma tape and support all my hoses before they crack.

You need to find some rubber edges for your hose real. The metal on the edge is what is cutting your hoses.
