    I was diagnosed with sudden sensory loss in my left ear....just heard loud humming...ringing. a specialist ran hearing tests, gave me prednisone and then i developed vertigo bad. My hearing started coming back but its real sensitive in my left ear and i still hear the humming and ringing. I was diagnosed with bppv later. Can this all be connected. I know its not prolly connected but about a week before i got neck adjusted three days in a row at chiro for the first time. I was treated for ear infection over a month prior.

    Vestibular migraine, what do you know about that? And you can have mild ringing in ear with vestibular neuritis. My daughter has suffered over two months she needs help. Ent is Thursday I’m worried he won’t know how to help her.

    I had serve vertigo 3 months ago was in the hospital for 5 days and I couldn’t walk. I’m in my 40s so this was very scary. It slowly got better but, I have been doing vestibular pt. It has greatly helped. I finally got my VNG test and my left vestibular nerve is still greatly impaired. I’m going to get an mri but, I’m concerned this is not vestibular neuritis but, something else. My hearing was good but, there just seems to be more going on.

      The number of variations of symptoms seems to equal the number of people with the condition. I.E. everyone seems to be slightly different. Do you have any tinnitus? Do you recall what triggered the vertigo? It must have been really bad to end up in hospital. My acute vertigo was not as bad, but 8 months later I'm dizzy all the time. Most debilitating.

    Does vestibular neuritis cause heavy head?

    • @barewaliaboy249

      Yes

    • @mbuk-zm3hc
      @mbuk-zm3hc Год назад +1

      Seems to - you feel like your head flops to the side and you actively have to tension the neck muscles to control the movement (a bit like you see a baby's head sometimes).

    • @elliottelliott6876
      @elliottelliott6876 Год назад

      Yes but that will stop with time passing. Eat healthy practice balance movements. A good neurologist physiotherapists will help
