To fire off a front kick with no switch or wind up with any kind of power is exceptionally difficult.
    Kudos.

honestly with my lead leg i go for more of a karate style kick so instead of how muay thai kicks are always going through the person my lead leg will extend from the knee and kind of slap them.
not the same amount of power but for the cost of its speed its a fair trade considering their is almost no telagraph.

I know you are better than me and stuff,,, try lifting your knee in the opposite direction in a little round movement then go the direction you point to while swinging your left arm backwards also in a round motion while turning over your hip.. only with left kick's so it gets the same motion as when kicking with your right leg or rear leg.. only reason you need to do it is because that's your front leg.. it's very difficult to kick hard round kick with your front (left leg) anyways if you still can't kick as hard as you do with your right round kick just do a switch and bounce of your toe ball..

This is called a flick switch. It doesn’t need to be a hard kick. Chances are if he’s doing a traditional switch kick like you’re suggesting it’s gonna take too long to get there anyway. Kick’s getting caught, blocked, checked or he’s eating the cross after that jab before he even gets the other punch out there.

Superbon would say otherwise. Amazing that armchair fighters think they know better than professional instructions. Go watch the Superbon ozcan knockout. It was exactly this technique/counter
