I was 18 and my husband was 21 when we married. We have been married 38 years, 3 sons and 5 grands.
I also let him know from the day we met I wanted to stay home and be the mother I didn't have. I was blessed to only work when times were hard. I think the longest was a year.

We too were originally set on having one child but then one day something switched.
I'm currently 10 weeks postpartum with Baby #2 and I'm so blessed to have him in my life.

My man and I got together when I was 19 and he was 20; we're still together now after 12 years. The growing up part is so true, we were kids when we dated and had different interests then like living a fast life but now we just love either staying home cooking together or go on road trips.
You definitely have to grow together!

I Love your channel and this Q&A video. My daughter is 5 and she is the only child my husband I have we are very happy and blessed to have her, but the pressure to have another child is a lot everyone thinks she needs a sibling lol. Great video! I met my husband on a bicycle built for two back when I was 16. My parents had one and I was riding it one night and passed his house and his little brother, who was friends with my brother, ask if he could ride on the back of the bike. I took him around the block and when we came back Gary was outside and said he wanted to ride it too. I started getting off the bike so he could ride with his brother and he said “No I want to ride with you”............the rest is history

I usually don't watch videos like this one, but this video was actually really good. I think that both of you have a natural presence in front of the camera and it makes it feel honest and real. So many other videos of this type seem contrived and stiff. Thank you for taking the time to make and post your videos for your viewers. Aww! You have our Story!! We waited until debt was paid off and finished with college but that was just what worked best for us. Kids are work so we wanted to make it as easy as possible. Oh I’m an Alpha Gamma Delta!

That was a lot of fun. I like learning things about people but I don't like being around a lot of people. Weird, I know. Your daughter is so cute and I have noticed in previous videos that she was good at household things like making beds and folding blankets. She is a mini-you. Did you have a hard time house training your yorkie? People I know have had problems in that area. Kristen Kasper is one of my most favorite too!! I love the story of you and your husband. I think things work out better when you just let God do His thing. Too many people try to hurry or force things to happen when they shouldn't. Thanks for your hard work.
Thank you so much for watching. We got our yorkie at age 1 and didn’t have any problems with training him. He is a very good boy. He is actually a silky terrier so I don’t know if that makes a difference.

I also married my husband at 20 and we’ve been married for 8 years. I was such an extrovert when we got married but like you, being a SAHM has turned me into an introvert. Love this video, you two are so genuine! I’m an only child and I always had friends ask me if I was lonely etc and I never thought so! I am super close with my parents!! Also I was born and raised in Boston, go Sox!!! Hope you get to experience Sox vs Yankees it’s an experience!! Haha

What a sweet couple and yes I enjoyed getting to know you guys. 37 years ago we moved to Tulsa Oklahoma but after our 2nd nugget came along we wanted them to be around both our families. So 5 years later we moved back to SC. We also got married very young and we finished High school early. I just wanted to be a stay at home mom and wife and my husband just didn't want to go to college. But it all worked out he has had the same type of job for 37 years and hes always made very good money. We were babies and everyone I mean everyone gave us 6 months. In 7 days we will be married 37 years and together 39 years. Yes we both grew together and it was very hard at times but we always worked it out. Mostly our first couple of years were the hardest. So all you young couples You Can Do It just remember it's not always going to be roses and sunshine. But the hard work will make your marriage stronger.

My husband and I were best friends in 4th grade on. We broke up after a year and a half, dated other people, I got married and divorced, but then we got married in 2016.
We went through foster care training and did temporary placement and it just wasn’t for us. It was hard to say that to people when they would ask, but honestly we are happy by ourselves.
That’s an amazing love story. I totally understand the foster care story. We have been there! Good job for being you and doing what’s best for you two!! It’s your life and you get to choose how you live it!
He has been my best friend for as long as I can remember, even when I was married. It was definitely meant to be! It (being have kids) did seem like the 'thing' we were supposed to do after we got married, but now we are very open when people ask us when we are having kids. Plus I went through years of infertility with my ex husband and didn't want to go through any of that again. I love the video! Thank you for sharing!

You are my motivation to cleaning. One morning I woke up and deep clean half of my house and freaked out my husband lol I finally finished the whole house because I have three kids and there's so much junk!

We were also married at 20, and we have both changed a lot, as well. Four boys later, we are about to have our 21 Wedding Anniversary, this August! It does take a ton of work, but so worth it!

I've enjoyed watching this video! You guys are cool😊. I feel we're alot alike. I'd like to be a stay at home mom and have no more than two kids but we'll see how the first one goes lol. I'm 32 and my husband is 26. I wasn't comfortable with him being so young but he literally acts like he's in his 30's lol. He has a great job, very mature, and good head on his shoulders. Makes wise financial dicisions. Anyway, looking forward to more videos!😊

Great vlog! And let me tell you, you are very wise to just enjoy your one child. Having two or more, can be joyful, but it is also exhausting, frustrating (especially during homeschooling,) less time for one of the children, which leads to frequent parent guilt, less time for Mama alone time. I think single children typically end up being independent, mature, and successful. You have a precious family!

My husband and I had our 2nd anniversary in Feb and have a 1 year old sweet little girl. I feel almost the same about having another baby, we both are just seeing it as she needs a friend, but no real want yet. (I'm an only child)
We finished baby step 2 a couple months ago and will be done with BS3 in August. My husband has never been anywhere too exciting for vacations so he said he wanted to go to Mexico, it looks like we'll be able to go in November (cash flowed!) And the best place for that time of year (and cheapest) is Puerto Vallarta! Any recommendations? We will be able to leave our daughter with family while we go 😊

Happy Anniversary! I know a lot of adults who don’t even speak to their siblings so that’s why we aren’t having a child just for savy to have a friend. She has two very close cousins and 2 super close best friends. We have girls at our house all the time so we feel like we found a good balance for us! Everyone is different.
Congrats on your Debt free journey! Sounds like you are doing everything right! You will enjoy your trip so much more knowing it’s paid for! I’ll ask my husband the resort we stayed for our honeymoon. It was all inclusive. It had like 5 restaurants and room service. Lots of pools and of course the beach. I’ll have to see if he remembers the name! It was almost 12 years ago but we loved it!
Til Vacuum Do Us Part we definitely are starting to feel the social pressure of having another as she gets closer to 2 years but we are in no rush, we are so happy with our family and finances right now. You're the first DR couple I've seen with an only child so very inspiring 😊
We are so excited for this trip! We found an all inclusive (meals and drinks too) on Expedia for about $800 per person which is amazing! We would joke on our way to our Tuesday FPU "date nights" that it was like marriage counseling in a good way haha

Im a new subscriber and my question is late but my question is how did u come up with the name of ur video "Till vaccuum do us part"?
Hey there, glad to have you with us! So we already filmed our first video and only thing holding us back from posting was a channel name. We knew we wanted it based around cleaning, organizing, decorating etc, so Chase started spitting out common phrases but throwing cleaning terms and products in there instead. When he said til vacuum do us part I said that’s it!

It’s soo awesome you both was good friends before getting married and I feel that is the key to a strong marriage. Yorkie I love them and will have to get one as well with me and my son allergies 🤧.
We have sooo much in common, including November birthday being so close, mine is the 8th, hubs is the 6th (2 days apart). We were also the same age getting married and having a baby, him also possibly being our only child. I don’t handle stress well either that’s one reason we haven’t decided to have another child 😂. I would love to hear about how you make being a stay at home mom work in a future video 🙂

I know it’s probably not possible for us but others may be curious how some sahm manage to make it work. I know that if we ever have a 2nd child we could not afford for me to work yet we also can’t afford for me to stay home. It’s so frustrating! My heart has been heavy on going back to school, and I would be around your age if we decided to have another. I just wish I knew what God’s plan was for me 😔
