I so agree! My kitchen literally has no pantry area at all I’ve lived here over 20 years and finally about 2 years ago, I converted a hall closet into a pantry. It’s still a smallish pantry but it changed my life! Lol. I can actually have a working food storage area now.
I did the same thing. My family would never put their coats in the closet, they dumped them as soon as they came in the front door so I put up hooks there, had shelves put in the coat closet and that's our pantry!]
I’m HERE for the garage and shed organization! You hardly ever see shed organization on YT so it’ll be great to see ideas for organizing tools, yard supplies, seasonal items, etc!
I watch a few extreme organize/clean videos on RUclips but I got a say you inspire me the most. Sometimes half way through your videos I’ll pause, get up and go organize something than come back and finish your video! Than, I’ll do more... my husband always says “you must be watching that vacuum lady again” lol 😂 this was another great one. I’m off now to turn a closet into extra pantry storage. We did that in our old house. We changed over a coat closet into a pantry. It worked great for us and when we sold our home, many people were impressed by it! Now our new house we're struggling because we have one closet and we need somewhere to put food and linens. We've been getting super creative with storage solutions.

Love this video. The pantry trend of containers is really stressful and expensive. I do it your way as well Also the battery caddy with tester is a game changer
Love the pantry and totally agree with keeping food in the original packaging. It’s not Pinterest pretty, but much more functional for my family. Great video!
Totally agree about making your space work for your family. There is a random half closet next to our wet bar and I turned it into a space to store all of our homeschool supplies and curriculum because that's what we needed!
Myself I use recyclables like cardboard boxes grocery bags, things I might get for free, those brown grocery bags, I was using a bowl I made into something for storage being it had a lid but I started getting free purses and zip lock things for pens, loose paper I use a folder with pockets but I also have a binder which I might switch to in the future
Hi Ashley !! I’ve learned to make do with what I have. Because I have 5 bedrooms ( more bedrooms than I need ) I decided to turn one of my bedrooms into a closet for my clothes. It served the purpose well . I’m still working on my pantry space. It’s small and it’s not working out for me , but it’s a work in progress. Thank you for so many helpful tips.

I use wine glasses for making fun parfaits. I loved your drawer with the mixed cooking utensils. I'm currently working on trying to organize one of those myself. I'm also using an old 5 qt. pot as a pace for other cooking utensils. It makes a rustic center peice for the counter.
I have SO many blankets too! I have sone weird emotional attachment to them. Maybe I was always cold as a child so I now think I need all the blankets in the world 🤣 wish I wasn't this way.
I also stopped decanting because it wasn’t practical for us! I got frustrated with losing the pancake directions and having a few chocolate chips left over in the bag from decanting…it became more stressful!! The visual clutter is less stressful for me than the alternative.

Thank you so much for this Ashley! I definitely need to de-clutter our closets. My biggest problem, is in my office - as we have papers for our house, warranties & and paperwork related to our business. I keep them in mobile files but I definitely would like to know how you and others handle these types of papers. I thought about scanning them and keeping them all on an external drive so that I can get rid of the paper files. Looking forward to any suggestions.
Your home is gorgeous. I have learned so much from you over the years. I would love to have as much storage as you do. Just your kitchen has twice the storage as I do. But I've learned to make it work. Decluttering is a constant battle.
You're a very keen and talented person. Being able to organize is one of those things I've always prided myself on. Trying to simplify things. I never had the means. I had the talent and growing up, it was something I did a lot of. I kept my bedroom neat, color organized my clothes..ect. I've got projects in my head, but it's easier said, than done. It takes of preparation, almost like measured space, colors, especially if your pantry is open. I use my pantry for a coffee station and microwave area because the kitchen space is limited. My husband made a plug on the other side of the wall as they're connected. It's done wonders for my work space. Beautiful house, and lady. You're blessed.

Great Video! Your Home is so Beautiful and Welcoming💕I’ve learned so much from watching your videos. It feels good to declutter and re/organize a space. I finally tackled our basement which doubles as my husband’s man space, laundry and storage. It felt so amazing decluttering,cleaning and organizing it. Now it has a functional flow and I love going down there now! Yes I would love to watch a Garage/Shed organizing video! That’s the only space left In my home I have to tackle!

I agree about air tight containers not working as well. I went back to old school Tupperware brand and they have been AMAZING! They may not be "pretty" but the modulars are awesome and saves so much space. Also for cans I have a great rack from Amazon that holds 36 15 oz cans that I keep on the floor
That is all super easy when you have a HUGE house and lots of storage. I will definitely follow your advice to organize more around. Sometimes I just do it have the time. I work full time and the rest of the evening is mostly for cooking and dining.
I’ve lived in lots of different sized homes. Even a tiny apartment and always made it work. There is always a reason not to do something but sometimes you just have to push through those negative thoughts and excuses and find a way to make it work. Just doing a little bit at a time will really add up over time.
I have had had the hat organizer for my husbands collection for a couple of years now. He loves that he can just grab one and go. I attached them to the wire shelf in a side closet for him. It’s easy access and keeps them up front and east to see. Your laundry basket, I think I saw it in the garage there, I’m sure out of sight for pictures. I currently have it in my cart, waiting to save enough $ to get it. I’m in my 60’s and do laundry for a family of 5. I love the way it looks and rolls. I am in the middle of organizing our kitchen now. Thank you for doing this video. Some good inspiration!!

Every thing looks so nice, you gave me so many ideas when I clean and organized around my house I always think what if some one comes over and needs some thing or goes in that space I won't feel embarrassed and clean and organized before I have guest it helps so much if I keep it up

@@TilVacuumDoUsPart Yes! We do need it to cool down to tackle this kind of project. I just finished a year of complete renovations to my new-to-me house. I have tools and parts taking over my garage. I’d rather not sweat to death decluttering and organizing. That’s my happy place.
I can't wait until we have a house and more space. Even though we decluttered A LOT my kitchen is so small and there's no cupboards so we have to put so much in our pantry and it drives me crazy

I think my fav tip is get matching hangers. if you're ok with black, the velvet/felt hangers are at costco for 50 pk, best price i've seen, it makes my whole clothing spaces look so much better. I'm slowly transitioning my husband over!
Good idea to have a holding area in case you want to add or change decor. I may try to get hubs on board with the garage when its cooler and no spiders!
I so wish my house was as organized as yours. I keep working on piles here and there, but can't take on big projects, due to cancer. Making things a bit harder to keep up with. Your videos help me come up with some great ideas to improve mine. I know a lot of mine is a declutter issue. Trying to figure out what to keep or not is hard sometimes.
We have a super tiny pantry closet and since I was not using one of the large master bedroom closets I just turned that into an overflow pantry. So far it’s working well though it is way on the other side of the house.

Great tips and video. My front closet was converted to my pantry a few months ago. So happy I made the change extremely functional for my home.
I think my fav tip is get matching hangers. if you're ok with black, the velvet/felt hangers are at costco for 50 pk, best price i've seen, it makes my whole clothing spaces look so much better. I'm slowly transitioning my husband over!
Good idea to have a holding area in case you want to add or change decor. I may try to get hubs on board with the garage when its cooler and no spiders!

I so wish my house was as organized as yours. I keep working on piles here and there, but can't take on big projects, due to cancer. Making things a bit harder to keep up with. Your videos help me come up with some great ideas to improve mine. I know a lot of mine is a declutter issue. Trying to figure out what to keep or not is hard sometimes.

We have a super tiny pantry closet and since I was not using one of the large master bedroom closets I just turned that into an overflow pantry. So far it’s working well though it is way on the other side of the house.
