So glad this house is still standing.
It's so weird you mentioned about having the urge to close the Shutters or Windows. When I worked as a Telemarketer in College an Elderly Woman Called to place an order and when I was entering the address I noticed it said Fall River and I told the Woman " I don't know why but that City sounds Familiar " She became really talkative .
She told me her Family lived right across the Street on second and that people thought Bordens were extremely Strange WAY before the Murders BUT the reason I'm writing this is she said " THEY ALWAYS KEPT THERE WINDOWS SHUT " and SHADES PULLED AND YUP LOTS OF TIMES THE SHUTTERS didn't matter if it was Summer or Winter.
She said a few other things but I thought it was strange that you had the feeling to close the Windows.
BTW Come on ! That's NOT THE ORIGINAL SOFA ! also the House had plumbing when Mr. Borden Bought it but had it taken out. Strange . The whole case is strange.
You can see Abbys Body from under the Bed from the 9th Stair which makes it bizzare that Lizzie didn't see it since Lizzie was going up and down the Stairs all morning.
OH new news on the Killing of Mrs. Borden . Her Body was moved from were it originally was ,,,, The Doctor had to pull it out from under the Bed to examine it and if you look at the pictures she looks likes shes trying to crawl under the bed .... So the sight the Maid and Neighbor saw was much more gruesome ... They most likely saw her Face looking right at them. Creepy. BUT what other escape route did she have ? She tried to crawl under the bed most likely 1. to get away 2, for protection from the Hatchet and it explains the wounds on her back. Oh I've read " When Ghost meets Ghost " Well I tried to read it and I DON'T THINK IT WAS LIZZIES UNLESS IT WAS FROM " MAPLECROFT " IT WASN"T PUBLISHED TILL 1914 then " With Edged Tool was published in 1894 so 2 years after the Murders.
1 more thing the door between Lizzie and the Bordens Bedroom was not only locked but had a big Chest of Drawers pushed against it. I think they started locking it after the Robbery ,,, When certain items of Mrs. Borden were Stolen.
Sorry I used to Use The Borden Family in one of my lectures on " Deviant Behavior in Dysfunctional Families " . It must have held the Students Attention because almost everyone would get those answers right on the exams .
OK that's enough.
@Peppermint Snowdrift Creepy wood grain pattern on the bed's headboard!
wow, you've really done your homework
From what I understand, the Edge Weapons book was really a romantic comedy of an author Lizzie liked and had several books by same author, and yes it was at Maplecroft. Had nothing to do with axes and the like. Lol
Lizzie DID see the body. She's the murderer.
Both men and women are capable of heinous acts! Don't forget that hate isn't gender-specific. It's good to have a healthy dose of skepticism while keeping an open mind. Btw, Billy's a good soul and a wonderful curator. Spirits/apparitions are wonderful listeners. Oh, one more thing, you did an excellent job. I'd definitely vote for you out of all the videos I've seen re: Lizzie Borden. This is just my opinion, but someone who hacked Abby 17 times really harbored hate and deep-seated resentment towards her. The perpetrator is no stranger to the family. It's not surprising Emma (older sis) and Lizzie had such resentment towards Abby. She was known to be a gold digger and not long after their mother passed away (~3 years) Andrew remarried and brought Abby home. The girls loved their mom. They went through a lot of psychological abuse from their father. Abuse doesn't have to be physical to cause serious harm to the person, but it can multiply the pain the girls were experiencing at the time. Also, Andrew Borden wasn't a gentleman either. He had a history of mistreating people who worked for him, including relatives. People suffer in silence that we just don't know about. I'm not surprised by how Abby and Andrew Borden ended, but saddened by the way family members hurt each other.
I know it's been a while since you commented, but who do you think committed the murders? It occurred to me that destroying a face is inductive of personal and deep seated hate, imo. Abby's face would have been destroyed had she not turned away...
Someone somewhere suggested that the killer could have hidden in the closet to the left of the front door. There's also a closet in the room in which Andrew was killed. It leads to under the staircase. But imagine a killer hiding all that time - including the time 1.5 hours that elapsed between killings.
I believe I heard/read that Lizzie was the one who planted the idea in Abby's head to have Brigette clean the windows. Lizzie said the neighbors were going to notice the windows were becoming dirty while suggesting that Abby was mistress of the house encouraging thereby her to order it be done. What a clever way to get the maid out of the house and the windows closed! This ensured the Abby would be stuck tidying up the guest room.
One of Lizzie's mistakes was in telling everyone that Abby was out due to a note. While that story kept Andrew from finding his wife's body, it demonstrated a lie to the authorities due to no note ever being found. The subterfuge ensured Andrew was killed, though. Had he discovered Abby's body, he would have sounded the alarm and avoided his own death.
Because Andrew was rewriting his will and had begun giving away parcels of property, Lizzie had motive. People have killed for much less. By Abby being killed first, the estate was prevented from going to her heirs.
@@josephdockemeyer6782 I think Lizzie did the killings. There are a lot of reasons that lead me to that conclusion. My question is did Emma know about Lizzie's plans to do the wackings?
@@adamw7290 I have always felt that Emma didn't know BEFOREHAND. I believe she pieced it together after the fact, however, Lizzie couldn't ever be tried again due to Double Jeopardy. I think Emma was caught in the eye of the hurricane that was Lizzie. It seemed as though Emma determined to be her sister's keeper, but it grew to be too much in later years. Emma moved away and the two never spoke again. Two childless, virginal sisters without husbands in a time that spinsterhood was considered a source of pity.
Emma being away visiting friends was all part of the perfect storm of events coming together. Lizzie was also away, but returned home. She even stayed overnight in a local hotel.
Interesting thx u
Look up the death of Auror Gagnon in Canada for evidence of how evil a second wife can be towards an innocent child. Women can be violent and "evil", as you said.
Super job. The editing, your presentation and knowledge of the story was really professional, I appreciate the time and effort gone into this. I think the odd long video on this channel is well worth it, enjoyed it very much.
Everything about this is absolutely amazing. How do you not have your own TV show?! Can't wait to see more adventures from you, Shane. Bravo!!
I just noticed the musical piece on the piano.."You can't chop your Pappa Up in Massachusetts" lol
Its the lizzie borden song.
If only it was composed before Lizzie got a hold of the hatchet.
This channel deserves WAAAAY more subscribers!
I just subscribed April 11, 2024.
I have seen other documentaries on the Lizzie Borden case, but this was the first time I felt like I got to spend quality time experiencing the scene and taking it all in. Fascinating! And I did see the creepy "face" on the basement wall, by the way! Thank you, Shane!
Carol Lange I feel the same way! So. NIce to get to see so much of the home!
I just left a comment saying the same thing worded different, but I agree it was pretty neat and unique then other videos I have watched.
I spent the night at the Lizzie Borden house, and I, too, saw the face fairly easily in the basement
When you were down in the basement a baby crying can deffinatly be heard at least twice.
In another video about this house, it is said a mother drowned her 3 kids and then killed herself either in that house or in the house next door.I think the woman was a relative.
@@Tempe1962 One of the children survived. Holden and Eliza did not make it and their ghosts are said to be in the attic of this house.
I see others have seen it.... that face freaked me out big time last night when I watched... checked it out this morning again to see if i was just seeing things.... very unsettling...
A Lizzie Borden candle should smell like fresh pears. Yes, I'm very late to the game.
That is a great idea SB.
I greatly appreciated your honesty about how you was feeling in the house throughout the night. You did a fantastic job on touring us through the home overnight. The information and insight you shared was outstanding! Thank you so much for the video and glad things seemed to go well for you on your night alone at the Borden House!
I got the notification for this video as I was getting ready for work, and then I had to wait ALL DAY before I could watch it! The suspense was killing me! And of course I had to watch it after dark to add to the creepiness factor.
Shane, I don't know how you stayed in that house all by yourself. Just seeing those reproductions of the smashed skulls would have sent me running for the door. And then the windows opened by themselves??? But the creaky noises in the basement would have finished me off... I think I would have had a heart attack right there, and I would be another casualty of Lizzie Borden!
Good for you for making it through the whole night! I hope that you enjoyed this experience! I feel like I have aged 5 years just from watching this video. 😬😰
I LOVED this! You handled being there alone like a boss Shane! I swear that I could happily devour this video even if it ran for three hours straight.
bloody hell that just scared the shit out off me seeing a ghostly face from the hallway
UPDATE: 9/26/18
Yes! The window situation was 100% real! I had to do my best not to over analyze it in the moment. And a tidbit I never included in this video, and something I really didn’t think about until the following morning:
Throughout the night, I kept picking up little balls of paper. Kind of like spit balls without the spit. I typically keep my place clean, so it was natural for me to pick them up and not think twice about it. Plus, I didn’t want the owners to think I was making a mess of the house. But, I kept finding more and more. I just stuffed them in my pocket. By the time the sun came up, I had noticed that my pocket was filled with these bits of paper. It wasn’t until then that I started to question, “where did these little bits of paper come from?” I was definitely not dropping paper on the floor. And the place was spotless when I arrived.
I often wonder if anyone else has ever experienced this odd situation in the house.

WOW! 😮 I just checked in on this video (seeing that I needed a break from it after 18 hours of editing)... and to my surprise, so many of you have commented on several peculiar images and sounds. You all have GREAT eyes and ears! I will certainly address all of your questions separately, but for now... Yes, in post-production I added 3 easter-eggs (like I do with most of my videos), but I NEVER thought that these touches would ever be discovered, let alone, on the first day I posted the video. However, I fear that may have insulted some viewers. I was certainly not trying to trick, scare, insult or mock anyone. And especially, I never meant to belittle anyones personal beliefs. My deepest apologies if I did. Truly. I will address this issue further in my upcoming LIVE Stream (Sunday Sept 24th 2pm US Eastern time).
2 of the 3 easter-eggs have been discovered... There's still one hiding in plain sight... Signed Lizzie Borden B&B postcard for the first to find it (leave in comments).
Thank you for your support, understanding and I hope you enjoyed this labor of love.
My very best,
-Shane
"The Candle Enthusiast"
The Candle Enthusiast What?!?! We are missing one!! This is going to so fun to go back and try and spot it!! I did notice that the gentle man that gave you the tour changed his hat from the front desk to the house (he seemed like a great guy), but I am assuming that is just something he does when showing the people around? I am going to rewatch it now and try and find it. (Side note, nothing at all felt offensive or upsetting to me. It was all soooo awesome)
Oh man! I misread this and re watched the whole episode looking for a post card! I noticed in John Morse room it looked like a stuffed animal? It looked like some sort of Black cat or something? I also noticed by the stove there was something weird on the floor... I'm going to go look again lol! I wasn't offended by anything either..
Ok, I am so eager to know what it is because I don't think I am seeing it. But I did notice two things. First is when you first walk into the house when you are alone and you look up the stairs, in the shot looking down at you, there is a pillow on the floor by the railing that later is on the chair in Lizzie's room. But maybe you put that on the stairs to hide another camera? Also, in the room where her step mom was killed, the pillows on the bed are arranged differently the second time you go in there. Now maybe you tried using one of those pillows to hide the camera on the stairs and that didn't work so you grabbed another one and didn't put them back in the some order? But none of those are post production. Good grief, I have been so good leaving shorter comments then just left this monstrosity about my assumptions regarding pillows and I am sure none of it is right 😄.
There was an ax on the couch when you walked in but then it was gone later then it comes back and is moved in a different position. I will watch again to see if I notice anything else.
Is that a violet in the cabinet next to the skulls? 22:44 Wondering the significance if it is.
You are so brave!! The basement in the dark!!! The windows opening after you shut them! What an awesome video! Thank you Shane!
Waited for this for what feels like years! This didn't disappoint!
WTF is the face in the doorway at 13:16? Was that inserted to scare us?
yeah he put it in in Final Cut Pro
This was amazing. Wow 41 minutes flew by! I was mesmerized. Thanks for this video. 😀👍🏼
I stayed overnight in the Lizzie Borden house. I consider myself a sensitive, open-minded, intuitive person. I came away feeling as though there is a LOT of paranormal energy and activity in the house. The most shocking thing I experienced was during my nighttime tour of the house. The tour guide, the other overnight guests, and I were in Andrew and Abby’s bedroom. There was a shut door that separated Andrew and Abby’s room and Lizzie’s bedroom. I very clearly heard behind that shut door a younger man’s voice in Lizzie’s room. I opened the door to ask whoever it was to leave the room, since that was the room my friends and I were occupying for the night, but no one was there. All the men who were supposed to be in the house were taking the tour with me, so no one was supposed to be in that room at that time. I have always thought it was likely Uncle John’s voice and spirit. After that experience, I was terrified all night long while trying to sleep and was so relieved when daylight came.
so well done Shane! What an amazing experience to be able to spend the night there.
The FACE ... eeyah ! Creepy. Great video. That’s a beautiful home. Thanks for enduring sleep deprivation and it’s effects for us!
The sleep deprivation added a twist.
Great Video. Love your sense of humor. Liked the fact that you were there alone because when people do videos there , there are too many people around and you can't get sense of any noise that you hear. The best part was seeing the kitty kat. What a darling.
🙏 Thank you!
Immediately dropped everything I was working on, made a pot of coffee and watched this video! Glad to see that there weren't any jump scares.. I love me some suspense, thrillers and murder stories and I am really intrigued by this story! Never heard of the Lizzie Borden murder story before. The question is did she really commit the murders? Glad to see that you left the scene with the shutters/window in that you showed on the liveshow! That was so spooky and really added to the suspense. The part with the skulls in the courtroom really startled me. BTW that stove was very pretty! Oh and I was very appropriately burning Forbidden Apple by YC :) And although this segment was not candle related I really enjoyed it very much and will probably rewatch it a dozen times! Keep on working hard Shane, we appreciate it very very much!!
Brilliantly executed. This video deserves a place on the annual watch list. Huge shout out to Billy for providing so much knowledge with such obvious enthusiasm!
I'm curious to hear if you found any change in your sense of smell after being spooked out by the house? I bet that basement was filled with all kinds of musky fragrance...
Amazing job!! I've been looking forward to this and it was fantastic!
@11:48 that's really cool ,as well as her book collection. Thank you for sharing this adventure!!! Btw luv Bridget's cozy room
I’ve been fascinated with this story for 30 years. Read lots of books and the trial transcript. Studied the house plan. I believe Lizzie wasn’t the only one involved or the actual killer. I believe Bridget knew and was at the least covering up. Seriously she was there how could she not know. 2 murders hour and a half apart and we are suppose to believe she knew nothing. Also there was a illegitimate son of Andrews that was wanting money. And then there is the Uncle and of course Emma. And Andrew was a mean horrible man to everyone. Half the town disliked him.
Shane, you did a phenomenal job with these videos. I couldn’t stop after watching the first one. I just binge watched these the first two. Great job. I love scary, creepy things. As a child, I would watch and read books that would literally give me nightmares. It never deterred me from my fascination with creepy, scary things though. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication.
Loved this, I felt like I was there with you.
You're an awesome Vlogger!
so cool!! Great video Shane, I would've been freaking out in there...
There is a woman in a dress standing in one of the bottom windows at 11:00 then gone when the camera comes back to it at 11:24.
I saw it. At 11:00 the second to last window on the first floor on the right side, there's a figure in the window. Next shot it's gone!
I saw it too
😱😱😱😱😱
WOW ! You are a great observer
This is perfection! Shane you did an AH-MAZING job! I haven been waiting, not so patiently, and it was totally worth the wait. I can't believe you went in the basement with no lights.... Oh man- I was literally on the edge of my seat and nervous sweating for you! The hole in the wall... C'mon who goes to look in that!?? Really the house is gorgeous and I would love to stay there one night.... maybe. hahaha
Aroma/ candle related or not- keep up these adventures- I love them all! Thank you!!!
-Melissa
I 100% agree. When the flashlight dropped in the basement I was so engrossed I was like, "oh no Shane are you ok?! Get out, get out!!!" Then I remembered it wasn't live and I needed to settle down 😄
He IS brave.. I wouldn't go in my own basement in the dark!!!
Lehcar1477 that is awesome and I am with you!!
You've got some serious balls lol no way would I step foot in there lol! Great Vid! x
WOW!! Excellent job!! Keep more of this stuff coming!!
I agree! He is looking at doing another video there next year in 2021.
Very nice video! It lived up to my high expectations. It definitely makes me want to stop by there for a night if I ever travel to that area. This combined with your other Massachusetts videos has made that tempting.
And the OSCAR goes to ... Excellent job . Love the attention to detail.
Great Job Shane. I loved this video. I can see the face in minute 13, but of course also the big one when you took the foto in the basement. That's just great. I really enjoyed this one!
@C.A.H
Where’s the face @1.13… I don’t see any face. On the front door that’s either a read picture in a frame or a mirror on the outside of the front door ✌🏼
P.S Lizzie didn’t do the killings, her uncle did …
13:16
Video well done. Gave me the creeps for sure! I could never imagine a smell it Sunday in that basement. That would be interested to do haunted hallow there before hand but I would chicken out lol
Just stopped by to see if this video was good and honestly u did an awesome job! Very interesting and scary. You did a great job you have a new subscriber!!!! Make more videos likes this!!!!
Beyond awesome! Thanks so much for sharing!
This is really interesting...especially where the sense of smell comes into play....this tour guide was really knowledgeable..
Great video, enjoyed watching. Have to admit, I'd have been too creeped-out to go into the basement by myself!
Could you imagine sleeping alone in the basement on a mattress on the floor?
Loved this so much! I saw the face on the wall. Such a beautiful house.
Great video! Thanks for taking us on your adventure! I really hope to check that place out in person one day!
13:15!!! Nice!!!
I didn't want this to end!!! I have been so excited for it and it was fantastic! Bravo. Encore 👏👏👏👏
Encore in deed! He is looking at doing another video there in 2021.
@@adamw7290 oh how exciting!! I can't wait! I love The Candle Enthusiast 💗
Been waiting for this! 😊, Tfs😊
Shane ! I can't tell you how happy I am that I watched this during the day ! You seriously have taken things to a new level ! My heart was pounding throughout the whole video... you are incredibly brave ! I did see an image in the doorway and on the basement wall. I would've broken both of my legs trying to get out of there so fast ! 😭 Just a quick question, why did you suddenly cut away from the attic ? Maybe for editing purposes ? Did something happen ? You don't have to answer if you don't want to. Lol That was scary, respectful, and articulate with your signature bit of humor thrown in so we could continue breathing again ! Lol Thank you for putting yourself in this precarious position to tell us one heck of a story.
Also, Billy was exceptional as well. Great job ! 😦🎬🕯
@13:16 there is floating image of a face hovering in the doorway. Anyone else see it?
Yes! That gave me chills
That's creepy, and he was in that house with it!
Yes
I hit pause on this video to read the comments hoping to find something like this. I saw it!
Did anyone see the head in the doorway of the sitting room 😮
I just watched this video!! Dude, you did an excellent job and I have to hand it to you, not sure I could stay one night here! Thanks so much for the video!!! Now go get some sleep! LOL
Ahh… @ 13.17 my heart nearly leapt out of my chest….. what the heck was that skull in the doorway?
Thank you for sharing. You did a wonderful job at explaining everything thank you i really enjoyed it.
My pleasure. Thank you for watching!
Thoroughly enjoyed this. Well done! Very informative and interesting
Lisa Elwell Thank you so much, Lisa. This was a labor of love, and I had a blast producing it. Make sure you check out my spooky adventures planned for this Autumn season :)
*awkward pause after burnt toast story. "...I'm Shane by the way" 😂😂😂😂 Love this, great video. I enjoyed this very much.
kimbo52 kimbo52 😂😂 right?! Thank you very much!!!
😂🤣😂🤣
The first room was the”parlor” and the “sitting room” is what you call the family room! Those are the terminology used at the time.
14:40 looks like someone has been sitting on the bed...
😱
Not after he turns on the lights 😱
😱😱😱
👌👌👌
If you listen closely at 36:22 you heard like a man yelling at the distance in the basement
It's scary
EDIT: it's really neat and cool how you edited your video so it was like we were walking along with you and experiancing it first hand. This channel deserves wayyyy more subscribers.
Using my bfs account since I lost my phone I cant log on to mine... Anyway (lol), I was watching Jacob the carpetbaggers channel. The Sleepy Hollow one. I saw you at the end so i checked it out. Needless to say I'm a fan now. This is my first video and i must say great work! This case ahas always intrigued me. I love the whole smell thing you associate with these places. I myself have always had experiances since I was a child. With that being said I have smelled my grandmothers perfume out of no where. I did not own anything remotely close to the smell of it and lived in the middle of the woods so it wasnt just "in the air"..... She passed away. Anyway im rambling I have had many more smell experiences/paranormal just that one sticks out to me more than others. Okay chapter book done haha. 😄 im binging your channel now. Keep up the awesome work. I wished I could travel around to these cool places like you are able to do. Someday hopefully.
Thank you so very much for the kind words! Means the world to me. This project was certainly a labor of love. Much more to come!! 😁🙏
First one of your videos I've watched. Thoroughly enjoyed it! Your did a fantastic job showing each room and explaining everything. I'm subscribing to your channel.
Yes, I did see a face on the wall in the basement wall.
Well done!
Your kind words are very much appreciated. Thank you dearly 🙏.
frame 11:05 shadow figure in back window... 11:16 its gone.... but who are we kidding the Easter egg is CLEARLY the YC shout out @ 2:59 ;) that's what 12 years w YCC will do to you :D wonderful job Shane
+B. Roemer . 😁 wow, really impressive. You have a postcard coming your way. If interested, send a shipping address to candleenthusiast@yahoo for a personalized Lizzie Borden B&B/Museum postcard. 👍🏻
Good eye..I didn't notice the figure because of the thumbnail picture until you said something.
I see it too!!
Enjoyed the video! I totally seen a face. Great job! ❤️
I definitely saw the evil face in the doorway at 13:16 (that was gone from the shot just 4 seconds later at 13:20) and heard the cry at 36:20, and saw the face on the basement wall at 37:35.. it took up the whole wall 😵
Oh my you are right it is right there
Yes, I saw the face as well! Plain as day! I came to the comments to see if anyone else saw it!!
I saw that too, I had to rewind back to see if it was just me seeing things. Creeeeeepy! Love it!!
The first face looks like Abby!
what a spectacular house. thanks for fabulous footage 😲 from new zealand with love❤
dennis muray Thank you so much, Dennis! Thrilled you enjoyed!

I can’t wait for you to go to Maplecroft.
I miss your videos Shane
Stuff like this happens all the time today.. Not too long ago, a teenager beat his parents to death with a hammer then had a party downstairs with his parent's dead bodies still in the house.
What a great ride! Me & my best friend are going in the spring!
Just thinking about you being there alone put knots in my stomach 😩Loved this video!!
I had to put on my big boy pants for this one 😁😨. Thanks for watching!!
Who was that shadow in the basement? BooBoo
A bit of trivia for you.
Elizabeth Montgomery was actually related to Lizzie Borden through her Mother's side.
So she was the best one to play Lizzie. 👍
Face in doorway at 13:16, did you add that?
Oh my god, oh my god
Omg! There is! It looks evil! Then in the same shot just 2 seconds later its gone!
Monique B Yikes!
I saw it and it scared the daylights out of me !
I see IT!!!!
I just watched the scene where your camera kept shutting off in the dining room and it reminded me of my own camera (phone). I remembered that when I was there in the fall of 2016 that I was trying to take pictures but the video kept turning on and I even had to ask two women who were on the tour with me for help. I can look at it again but I seem to remember not being able to shut off the video and get back to picture mode.
The amount of doors in that house is phenomenal
The guy giving the tour is cute.
❤the arbogast reference I'm a huge fan of old Hollywood 😍😊I'm a new subscriber
I guess you can make this visit scary or fun. Great video !
Where I work there is a door that always closes and so when I’m there by myself I just close the door so I don’t have to hear the door close -one time the door closed and a fan next to door, in the room was spinning but the fan wasn’t plugged in so yeah- I was in the room when both happened- I just say , “Go into the light.”
Great tour of the house!
Dude, that is the cutest dog picture. :)
Elizabeth Montgomery and Lizzie Borden were distant relatives (this fact was not known until after Elizabeth Montgomery passed away).
Oh my, please tell me that was just street noise at 36:20.... Sounded like a cry or maybe a squeaky door...so spooky!
OH MY GOSH! You heard that too? I thought I was hearing it. Like a cry in the distance. :-o
Hopefully it was the black cat..
If that was not his phone, or music playing, then it sounds like EVP; in fact, I think I here a young woman/girl's voice speaking a few seconds prior to this sound. It doesn't sound like the cat to me. Now I have to go through this with headphones and look for legitimate EVP's. Fascinating.
Yes i heard that too! Creeped me out!
Ok, so I've watched this a few times. Initially I heard the same cry, squeaky door, 'cat fight in the alley' noise several times while he is in the basement. I paused the video because I thought maybe it was my neighbors baby daughter crying again. Not my neighbor, so I am rewatching to see if it really is the video. It is! I just can't place what the noise is for sure.
This is why I want an In-Betweens (or a LIVE) video so Shane can go through more of his stay there and talk about these experiences (and footage) with us. :)
Sorry if I am overly geeking out over this... I love it! LOL
That truly is a beautiful house with beautiful furnishings and wallpaper. How could someone not be happy living in that house? I feel sorry for the step-mother.... not the daughters.
Yes I saw a face on that basement wall
Woah..
The quality of the camera is crystal clear.
I had headphones on through this video and In the basement I continually heard a baby cry. Very creepy.
Awesome video: subscribing!
You are a brave man!
Bonnie Belle Thank you, Bonnie! Yup, I had to put on my big-boy pants for this one. So glad you enjoyed. More videos like this coming very soon :)
You did an amazing job!
With all sincerity, thank you so much. I really had to put a lot of work into this video with virtually no prep time. The kind folks who who reach out and appreciate the effort and the many hours of editing I lovingly dumped into this project (completely solo, FYI) are truly why I make videos of this sort. So again, thank you. Also, I’m working on a follow up Lizzie video; a night at Maplecroft 😉.
OK........so I'm watching this video on a cold rainy night in WA and I do see that very disturbing face on the wall by the stairway at 13:16......I have chills and I absolutely love hauntings but Shane......this one is scary...WOW!!!!
Your comment makes the kid in me (the kid who swore to his friends, family & teachers, that he was going to make the scariest film of all time, when he grew up) VERY happy. Thank you for sharing... and I hope to give this style of video another shot sometime soon :)
Great video
When you shined a flashlight into the basement room, You mentioned seeing a face but if you look to the right you will see a shadow move to the right going into the wall.
Timothy Karn 😱
I am loving these adventures you are doing! Very cool!!
I definitely saw Andrew Borden's face when you took a flash picture in the basement!!
Amazing investigation.
That was cool to watch....how did you manage to get the whole place to yourself? lol
Your a super cool dude. You make this interesting and your respectful.
Very interesting! The face in the basement is easy to see with the flash.
Did anyone see a face on the wall outside the door at 13:17 ?
She was acquitted she has every reason to smile!😆
LOL, good point. :) However, that does not mean she was innocent.
You people are nuts! I used to walk by there all hours of the day and night, before it was a B&B, and never thought twice about it. I've been inside, no BFD. Old city, lots of old stories, many untold.
You walked by it, ok. Have you stayed in the house overnight by yourself?
@@adamw7290 no but my Dad knew people that lived there, no haunting reports.
@@johndoe-wv3nu So to be clear your dad asked people that lived there if they experienced anything paranormal and they said no?
@@adamw7290 very loose paraphrase, but yeah.
@@johndoe-wv3nu I find that odd because both the current owner (Lee Ann Wilber) and the previous owner (Martha McGinn) say they have had paranormal experiences there, along with many people who have stayed the night there.
You Are Brave!
