I love Johnny Thunder! He was a source of continual joy and inspiration for my little brother and me when we were growing up. Thank you for sharing these videos. They are a joy to watch and warm my heart.
Truly a masterpiece as always in the adventures of Johnny Thunder. Cheers once again Ben for having me onboard to voice our favourite Archaeologist from down under 😎👍
This is incredible! The shot composition, lighting, and voice acting are all outstanding! I love the way the color mod was intergraded into the shots. Nice work as always!
He's back once more! I love the little details like the old rotary phone, the train driver tooting the horn and the use of the old Baron head for the ancestor. The set design's great too. Some of the dialogue erred on being a little predictable, long and drawn out, but the video works as a whole. Great work for just 7 days! Always good to see another of your brickfilms. Now I just need to catch up on the 40 minute one!
Thank you JOCo! Glad you liked it. And I agree, I realized some of the lines were too long when I was struggling to film them on time lol 😅 I think I rushed some of the script writing, especially the Baron’s lines at the end, but alas thats Brawl for ya. Anyways, always appreciate your comments man :)
Thank you! I went from taking 6 years to make one, to only one week 😂 it was for a contest with a week deadline though, normally wouldn’t be able to make something like this so fast lol
That was most MAGNIFICENT! Giving a huge backstory to Kilroy's lineage and notably Von Baron's too! Y'know, me and my family went to Edinburgh for a holiday last month.
I pushed myself to my absolute limit to finish it within the week, but it was worth it in the end. And thanks so much! I have more Johnny adventures planned :)
Great work! Really love that old-timey feel you’ve got going on! Always loved Johnny Thunder as a kid but sadly never got any of the sets. I’m going to watch the Pharoahs Curse when I get time!
Dr Kilroy’s phone looks soo so good. This film looks so beautiful, and the story and voice acting are great. That phone call awakened some memories deep in my brain, possibly a LEGO game on their website back in the early 2000s, did it involve them going to Egypt? Anyway, this was class, well done!
Thank you very much! I wasn’t sure about the phone design, so I’m happy to hear that. :) And yes! I think this is what your talking about ruclips.net/video/RnvLN6Sgc_s/видео.html I was definitely inspired by it for the phone conversation. Thanks again!
Impressive you did this in only one week. The shot design, the lighting, the detail on sets, it was all really outstanding. Amazing work, congratulations for your film!
I love how Johnny sounds like a character called keefe from a TV show when I was younger on cbbc a show called badly behaving bear where the characters are puppets
I like to get into character and I have a range but don't want to fall into the Apu from the Simpson issue of seeming offensive so I try to stick with my 3 (Andy Mark and Lewis) and anything from there mess with modulation or again just try not to be offensive (I can do Asian Indian British Australian Boston/New York and my favorite redneck)
@@StarBrickStudiosAlso it’s nice to see Johnny in Europe, he’s so often in the jungles and deserts that some simple green plains are nice for a change lol.
Amazing adventure brickfilm as always! As a fan of LEGO Adventurers theme, I can just like it a lot 😃🤩 Nice using of the scottish History, the decals of the Highlands warriors is very well made! Did you make them yourself?
I saw the new Indiana Jones and I’m not gonna lie, this was better. I love your animation style and the set buildings really good too. The lighting and background is dangerously good man.
Thanks so much man! That means a lot :) I haven’t seen the new Indy movie yet and am really looking forward to it. Is it any good? Or at least not as bad as some of the reviews seem to be saying lol

Wow this is so good, the storyline, animation, set design and little details such as the maps and clothing. Really enjoyed watching it.

Fun adventure! 5:28 whaat 😮
Black screen at the end only added to the feel of old movie with intermissions like that. :)
this is really good
Wow, those train shots were beautiful! The paper background really added a lot.
Impressive you did this in only one week. The shot design, the lighting, the detail on sets, it was all really outstanding. Amazing work, congratulations for your film!
Thank you very much! :)
Amazing. Just like a lego style of Indiana Jones
So cool seeing some Johnny Thunder love! Great film man. If you ever need any extra voices I’d love to help! Video production and theater major here!
Thank you very much! Awesome, what kind of voices can you do?

Haha just looked it up and your right they sound very similar!
Great job!
Thanks!
Your welcome!
The voice acting has improved so much since the first episodes the camera looks so good
Thanks! Yeah getting actual voice actors for my films have definitely elevated them.
@StarBrickStudios lmk I got a range of voices if you ever need one
