I am using FSD Supervised. It is mind boggling!
I gave 2 people v12.3.3 FSD rides today. One's definitely going to buy a Model Y and the other (actually my mechanic) kept saying "I could get used to this" over and over. I think I'm going to give more people rides.

Ive been using FSD V12 and it has been awesome.
One thing I haven't heard mentioned is that as older Teslas come onto the used market, you will have a whole new demographic, becoming loyal Tesla buyers and when they are able to afford it, they will buy new Teslas.

If Dan O’Dowd is advertising for all Tesla owners to try FSD 12.3 to see how good it is, that does not sound like he is trying to wreck Tesla at all. It sounds like he finally realizes that it is the best autonomous driving software on the planet. Now that doesn’t help his business out since he is in direct competition with Tesla, but perhaps he deserves credit for this?

How does robotaxi serve commuter traffic more than individually owned vehicles? Most people commute at the same time. Thus rush hour.

Mistake my friend... you should still used the shoulder with very light weight, active recovery is best instead of total rest.

You also need to consider that most Tesla owners also have an additional gas car. The next car they may be purchasing and stay with the Tesla brand will be a vehicle to replace their final gas car.

about India, it is as China, Tesla will not open anything there if they don't get minimum what they want. And when they market is big, but not for expensive cars, going bland is stupid. So they slowly change narrative, so maybe Tesla would open some factories there, but if it would be car factory, I would not bet on it. Because India have one of biggest solar installation in world, so solar or battery can be better investment.

FSD adoption rates aren't an issue. Once tesla robo taxis are allowed anywhere, the safety data 6 months later will force everyone to allow them.

US families still will want to own an EV and a Cybertruck if they can afford it. However the need for second family car could be eliminated using Robotaxi fleets. Use of Tesla’s Robotaxi being 1/3 of the cost of Uber will replace ride sharing companies.
I used FSD yesterday. So far it works great but there was one issue I could not figure out how to report. I was in a school zone where the speed limit is 45 mph normally and 25 mph during school hours. I drove thru the zone during the 25 mph time but the car did not know that the speed limit was supposed to be 25 and not 45 (as it was doing). Other than this one issue it drives way better than V11. Do you know anyway to get this info to Tesla to make them aware of this? Thanks for the great videos.

The FSD warning you heard is probably the Front collision warning. FSD is warning itself 😂... I got those a few times too, with some phantom breaking, especially when there is cross traffic on highways. I assume it's because the highway stack is not fully on v12?!?!
PS. I'm enjoying the free trial but too expensive to buy. Also, it's not ready for NYC driving. IMO
Thanks. Forgot to add i had no bad sudden phantom breaking with FSD v12, if it starts slowing down, it's smooth. Had no slowing down during the audio warning.
@@MattPociusonTeslaMoney I only got a few sudden breaking in small 2 lane parkway with cross and merging traffic in NY. Otherwise the breaking was smooth.

The one thing I agree with Ross Gerber on. Humans and regs will be the biggest challenge for FSD (especially since the govt DESPISES Elon). What makes this even worse is TSLA will be the only company offering FSD.

You cannot ban something that is statistically safer simply because you will get continuously sued. Also, I can’t imagine how hard it will be to find a combustion engine mechanic in a few years, that alone is a major issue with hybrids.

The India factory may just be for Megapacks and not autos. While I am all in on Tesla and Love my Model 3LR/FSD, I did drive a Mach E today just to learn and it was very quiet and smooth. But no over the air updates, FSD and poor range. Tesla all the way. I am finding I am using 12.3.3 almost all the time.

Tesla’s robotaxis will change everything in personal transportation. If I can order one from my smartphone, and it turns up within a few minutes at my doorstep, I don’t need to own a car anymore, neither does anybody else. Car parks will be empty and space available for other uses. And they will make fewer mistakes than humans saving lives and accidents.
FSD regulatory approval. As soon as Elon lets slip that China might approve it first, the USA will do it.😊

I often tell folks that Tesla is the iPhone of cars. And so I'm not surprised with this parallel that 87% of existing owners intend to stick with the brand.
Also I believe that if Musk was as quiet as Cook or was a liberal then western women would embrace Tesla as they do Apple.
I have said this before, Dan needs to learn the rules of advertising. There is only one kind of advertising, there is no good or bad advertising, there is just advertising. No advertising is death. The best advertising is free advertising. Adversity draws interest. Etc.

Allow easier family single-car ownership. So many parents say that they run a taxi service, there is an argument for reduced n7mber of cars happening even with continued car ownership.

- FSD takes adult A to work & returns empty
- FSD takes kid B to 2hr sports event and continues on to take adult B to 3hr hospital appointment & returns to sports venue
- FSD takes kid B home
- FSD fetches adult B from hospital and returns home
- FSD fetches kid A from school
- FSD fetches adult A from work
If this families travel needs seem exaggerated... then you have not been a parent in a 2+ dependent house.
