I believe the female pilots husband died as a pilot in a previous plane crash and she took flying lessons to honor his memory and unfortunately died the same way.
I had countless nightmares of plane crashes since I was a child (now I'm 26 years old) and I still have these dreams from time to time. The strange thing is that I am never the passenger but someone who witnesses it from the ground, as in this video.
The cause was determined to be due to the 1st officer, who was in fact a flight instructor that was evaluating the pilot for becoming a captain, mistakenly moved a flight control lever that she had misidentified. What ever she moved changed the configuration of the aerodynamic surfaces causing the plane to bank, roll and dive moments before landing, with no time for recovery.
@@imkindofabigdeal4308 Correct, she feathered the props when she meant to deploy the flaps to landing configuration. At their low altitude, there was no chance of recovery.
@@rmooregso it sounds like quickly deploying the flaps might've saved them but they were already at a critically low speed. Literally zero margin for error at that phase of flight.
The pilots accidentally feathered the engines while they were attempting to change the flaps, they didn’t realize this error till it was too late, the feathering of the engines caused them to produce no thrust, therefore leading to this tragedy

Yes it was a stall the pilot was circling around and around for approach and a land then suddenly the plane got into a stall and got out of control and crashed

Context : Yeti Airlines Flight 691 an ATR-72 was on approach to a new Airport in Pokhara, Nepal, built by Chinese contractors only weeks prior, suddenly stalled and plunged into a valley, killing all 72 crew and passengers. The Pilot was a mother of two who lost her husband, almost ironically, to a plane crash years prior. The error was in the observing pilot. Mistakenly upon approach for their second landing at that airport that day, the co-pilot feathered the propeller based plane, (Increased the propellers pitch angle to be parallel to the airflow. About 80-89 degree pitch.) when asked to extend flaps to 30 degrees. He nor the pilot realized this till 30 seconds later when he made his final mistake only then extending the flaps, but failing to return the propellers pitch to get max thrust, resulting in a stall. The plane fell 500ft and killed all on board instantly.
