So fucking good! 70’s disco bass and drums with 80’s brit pop vocals mixed by the best engineers to ever mix a song. I love all of their music, but as a beginner producer I hear the mixes more than anything. I would give just about anything to get one of my songs mixed by Zero 7
The buildup is one of the best I've heard in a while, I just love the dark vibes it gives and how it's slowly transitioning to brighter ones, like a sunrise
If this record had decent production it would be an 8/10 but as Zeros 7's production is so completely sumptuous and beautiful it brings it up to 9.5/10
they made sia...i saw them at the hollywood bowl when sia unknown...such amazing song writers....i used to drop their tracks in dj sets in the early 2000's and did work for their label in los angeles...
?! Why would that be when there are so many female vocalists on their songs singing such deep, deeply-felt, personal lyrics? And please don't ever compare Lady Gaga and Zero7 again, it's like comparing the drawings of a child, maybe a little gifted, with the paintings of a 19th Century French Impressionnist!
spaceboy2095 cool your jets. No where in my comment did I make a comparison between zero 7 and lady Gaga. I simply used her name in the same thought while making a baseless inquiry. I can understand your belligerent comment if it was made due to the above. Otherwise you might want to sober up next time you decide to post something so witless and irrelevant.
And if you didn't compare the two of them by alloting one to men and the other to women, I don't know what you did!? Or maybe what you meant was that girls are too ignorant in music to like what's really good? And that would be not only stupid but kinda chauvinistic... Just like the whole of your comment anyway!
Once again your comment (rebuttal) does nothing to serve your original comment regarding my alleged comparison between Lady Gaga and Zero 7. In which I didn't do as made apparent by my vain attempt to convey this to you in my last comment. I'm not even going to entertain the rest of your imaginative insinuations.
2024 and still listening ❤
Feels like 4 am and I'm driving around the neon Vice City in my stolen car
I like how the song has a 80's vibe but with a modern day twist.
I still can't get over the fact that "Don't Call It Love" was the B-SIDE! That being said, I do like this song right here a lot too!
I can honestly say this is in my all time top 5
the warped house piano is precious
hell yeah...this is the track...thats sonically and lyrically crafted....so poetic
just sit back and enjoy
This is so chill I love it so much.
I'm in looove (with this song)
Don't call it looove😉💛

Yes to all above!

Zero 7 can do no wrong 🖤

Their mixes are the best I’ve ever heard. Makes sense , since they both started as engineers......From what I heard anyway.
I thought this was Empire of the Sun when I first heard it, similar to "Walking on a Dream". LOVE the retro sounds here!!!

Even worst if you're not even conscious of what you're implying...
