The stabbing of Marcy was one thing but now the entirety of True Colors changes the perspective with this episode: Marcy's actions were actually more harmful than we thought Andrias almost killed Sprig out of petty as he thought about Leif at that moment Every last one of Andrias' actions were to "Redeem" himself in his father's eyes. He was hesitant to go through with the invasion and would've persuaded his father for an alternative to an invasion. However, Leif pushed him by stealing the box, cementing his father's mindset and internalizing it for over 1000 years
I feel so bad for Barrel, dude never did anything wrong, just didn’t want to hurt his friend. Andrias’ friends back then seemed to relate to the stones, Andrias=Wit, Leif=heart, Barrel=strength. Since Andrias pushed barrel away because he failed Andrias, could it represent Marcy Could it represent Marcy Pushing Sasha away? Maybe Anne? Or, since Andrias’ color is blue, Barrel’s green, could it represent Anne pushing Marcy away after the events of the finale?
Actually Andrias is heart. Every parallel has compared him to Anne and even the colors don’t line up. Andrias being heart has been very clear cut. The scar on his heart, his emotionally chilling lines, the betrayal he has experienced from those he trusted, all of that parallels Anne(accept he took to long to stand up for himself and so he continued doing bad things)
Today's episode was such a blast to the past. First off, there bringing so much season 1 characters back like jermy which is awesome, and second I love how they named her Darcy cause that's what everyone called her, we see andrias old friends including now we know it's sprig, polly, and Anne's(part of the family) ancestor making the sacred Planter family dance, and how the calamity box can see the future, including how we know why they separated. I'm pretty convinced that Andrias will do one good thing by the end of this, possibly resulting in his sacrifice; I do NOT, however, think they'll properly redeem him nor expect anyone to forgive him He's kinda seemed... disenchanted - I can't think of a better word - with the invasion plan from the start, but his actions in Froggy Little Christmas make me wonder; I also believe he cares for Marcy on sone level. For her to tell HIM about her life, but not Olivia? It leads me to think they spent a lot of time together, and while I know Marcy was probably desparate for a real connection, I can't imagine Andrias got nothing out of it Either way, I find Andrias' character interesting, as a villain I mean
Actually it seems to me that his whole bravado for invading Earth is simply to please his father and to make up for his previous failure. I'm not entirely sure if his heart is 100% onboard with that plan, but he doubles down on it since last time he wasn't he lost the box and was "betrayed" by his friends. Maybe that means he can be dissuaded eventually, who really knows.
Andrias is still just that lost kid hurting over his childhood friends betrayal. I dunno about redemption, but he will definitely take his father/The Core with him if and when defeated/killed by the trio. I think Andrias is having second thoughts, and may be plotting something for himself that will either help or hurt the core and or girls depending on context. We also know (not just the sprigg part), but was more than likely taking things out on Marcy too, which I found originally to be mean spirited even for Andrias, but now we have a context. Marcy is after all, probably the closest thing to a friend he's had since Barrell and Lief. I think he wanted to betray her before she could him. But may be feeling a bit of guilt over it. He's definitely becoming one of my favorite villains.

Even though it seems like he's going to go through with it, conquering and strip mining Earth and exterminating the human race isn't what he really wants 🤨😟🤔, but what his father, Aldrich, along with the Core (which he apparently is now a part of 😰😱), wants 😠😡.
I love that episode and The king and the core is great because this shows how andrias's father wanted to not be with his friends and Leif has seen the future and she steal the calamity box to save the fate of amphibia but betray andrias so I hope andrias will redeem himself and marcy will be freed from darcy if anne and sasha with marcy's parents can do something and the invasion coming to earth sure gets me excited for the series finale of amphibia! 🤩🐸❤✌

It also shows that no episode is a filler in this show. The episode with The Dance actually came back into play in the long run which is pretty neat.
