      Actually ……… Bavaria wanted to deport Hitler in 1924 but the Austrian government denied him access and gave orders to arrest him in case he wanted to cross the border. One year later he requested his Austrian citizenship to be revoked which was granted by Austria because he was living for more than 10 years in Germany, had fought for the German Army and had no social ties in Austria. He was officially stateless for a few years until in 1932 he became a German citizen.

    • @F4QuArL

      Well so it´s still true, that if Austria had taken Hitler back and incarcerated him, we wouldn´t have this shit happen and I could visit other countries without everybody greats me with "heil H...." THAT´S damn insulting to any German citizen born after the WW2

    • @vandecasa3795
      @vandecasa3795 4 года назад +1

      @@F4QuArL At this point in time Hitler already had plans for Germany, so he was looking to get German citizenship anyway. In 1923 he tried a coup to overthrow the Bavarian government, which failed and got him arrested. The court in Munich sentenced him to five years detention after which he should have been deported because he was a foreigner. The court broke the law by not having him deported, which shows that already there were too many sympathizers in positions of power, at least in Bavaria.
      If Germany would have not allowed him to serve in their military and didn't allow him to settle down and become politically involved, he would have just been some unemployed, angry Austrian dude. However some sort of Nazi takeover would probably have happened anyway.

      Kampfgruppe Lehr (also called the "Panzer Elite" faction) is a fictional unit in the game Company of Heroes introduced in the single player campaign of the "Opposing Fronts" expansion. It was inspired by the mish-mash of German units that opposed Operation Market Garden which included the surviving remnant of several infantry divisions, the 2nd SS Panzer Corps, several Fallschirmjäger regiments, & Luftwaffe ground personnel in ad hoc formations.
      Other than being the inspiration for Kampfgruppe Lehr's name there is no direct relation with the Panzer Lehr Division.

    If he had just capped from the beginning they would have won no problem.

      In this case, in hindsight yes. In battle? The enemy could have turned back and wiped them out while they capped. It’s easy to judge when you have the magical power of know exactly what all the enemies are going to do.

      You must be a psychic to have known the enemy didn't come back to their base for that to work out. Watch the replay carefully, with everything he knew at the time and everything the remaining enemies could have known, watching the route to the enemy base to ensure the Bat could cap uninterrupted was the best option.

    It's actually pretty funny you mentioned Arnold Schwarzenegger as a german tank drives though buildings... when Arnold was in the army he accidentally drove his tank though a maintenance buildings wall.

    I assume this short for Kampfgruppe Lehr, this can mean 2 things, rather it‘s fighting group called „Lehr“ or a bit mixed with the name and he actually means Lehr Kampfgruppe, in this case it is used for units are closely related to army schools

      He's using the term to describe the potential hard hitting nature of its shell, along with its slow reload. He knows full well it is NOT a true howitzer.

    You're thinking of the Object 260, which _does_ have a 122mm main gun!
