Hi Jingles, thanks for your video. As a bit of a datanerd, I register all my battles and the outcomes. The average game I've played are 8 min 43 secs (over 813 games). Of these 813 games, 43 were played on Ensk with an average duration of 5 min 10 secs. So, in line with your assumption.

Haven't played this game for more than I want to think about, but when shit got tough I usually platooned with friends on KV-2s. I never got myself a TOG, but those KV-2 platoon games were the most fun time spent in WoT ever.

@@MrGrimsmith A lot of people say the Hetz gun is the 7.5 for the sniping/bouncing fun at range. Derp is Derp. personally, I am going to derp my Hetz till HE stops being fun to shoot (Hint: it won't ever stop being fun to shoot).
Artillery can be particularly effective on Ensk if its team can secure the field... and the arty is in a position that allows it to work the rest of the map from the field. The BC arty are particularly good at this with that turret. The problem though... south spawn doesn’t get hard cover for the arty out in the field , which deters field positions if they have the mobility to get to the west before a medium from North Spawn can take that one window position.

I love how the Russian plan for the 430U was basically... 1.) Give a med tank a heavy tank gun (ok, the Chinese do that and its certainly and idea) 2.) Give the med tank heavy tank armour (what? So make a heavy tank then) 3.) Make it do 50km/h on less weight than a centurion, essentially bending physics even more than you bend the engineering capabilities of your designers.

Great video and commentary from Jingles . The second video was fun to watch and played very well! The 10.5 howitzer Hetzer is very good properly played. I picked up a great deal watching her gameplay!!
I want to say thank you jingles for the years of great and questionably funny videos that have managed to keep me entertained! Especially all of your WoT videos because of them I have enlisted in the US Army as a 19k (M1 Abrams crewman). You and WoT have given me a hobby and passion for tanks. One thing to note about the Jagdpanzer 38(t) is that it's not really based on the Pzkfpw. 38(t) chassis, it shares some components (steering mostly if I remember correctly) but hull and engine are brand new and tracks, drive sprockets and suspension are beefier than on the Pzkpfw. 38(t). Thinking about it the Tiger I and Tiger II probably share more components than the Jagdpanzer 38(t) and Pzkpfw. 38(t)
captain here, the OBJ430U actually has 90mm of side armour so no danger of overmatch also it weights less than the Cent AX because the AX is almost 2 times the size and not really a paper tank

Actually Jingles the T14 is a tier V premium US heavy tank. The T18 and T82 that used to be the tier 2 tier 3 tank destroyers were tanks of choice for low tier derpage. Also the Cruiser II with I believe the 3.7 inch howitzer was surprisingly fun. Felt like shooting a mini arty/mortar mounted on a light tank. That one was my favourite low tier tank next to the PzI.C which I nicknamed the "Panzer I Chainsaw" As for the first tank in the first battle "Perfectly balanced as all Soviet tanks should be." Regardless, kudos to both players and thank You Jingles for sharing these replays. I hope anyone who happens to be reading this has a great and safe day. Now I'll have to excuse myself while running away from the range of a shotgun and escaping the Salt mines' guardian **gets pinned down by Empress Akizuki and hears shotgun pumping sounds** That's all folks!

i used to love the derp 105, back when i still played Wot. I loved the Hetzer, the Sherman, the Pz 4, and even the Sherman Jumbo with its first turret wich had like 150mm of armour all around. Great lil thing
The Panzer ace who drove one of these Hetzer types (Actually a Stug III) in Moscow was none other than Michael Witmann, who would go on to become not only a panzer Ace but one of the best Tank commanders in the Panzer corps. Eventually working his way up to a Tiger commander, There's a good documentary on You tube. Love the videos Jingles. I like to play artillery. Wether it’s immobilizing an enemy out in the open, forcing an enemy to switch cover, or bringing them down to low health for my teammates, I like to support my team even though in return I’m usually forgotten about and left to the wolves.
Getting immediately one-shotted clean through the front of whatever it was I was driving wasn't THE moment that made me give up on the game but it gave me a very big push towards the door.
If I remember correctly Michael Whitman got quite a few kills on T-34s in a Hetzer. He describes waiting on the backside of a slope and shooting them in the turret ring with the early short barreled 75mm.
Correct is what you are Mr.Jingles. Otto Carius was a Panzer 38t driver at the offensive of Moscow. He happens to be my favorite tank ace of ww2. I like Otto more than Michael Wittman, Kurt Meyer, or joachim Piper. Because Otto was the first tank ace I ever heard of and read about. Hmmm... Ive kinda given up on using any of the howitzer/HE guns because I never seemed to get more than 1/4 of their listed damage. As for low tier HP buff, it was a good start, but they still need to match up based on number of battles played or one of those 'player rating' numbers.
I very much love the Hetzer, especially the DERP Hetzer. Favorite tank to play, tho admittedly Ive not been playing very much or for very long & havent driven anything beyond T5

I took five or six lines up to T4 and one up to T5 as I recall, and could count the number of matches I would call "fun" on one hand. So I'm glad she's having fun too. I hadn't heard about a hitpoint buff; that does indeed sound nice.
I play under the name ShutUpNPlayYerTank (yes I'm a Zappa fan as well) and toon with Candie some mornings, she's a great, smart player, very opinionated and fierce. Plus she's absolutely hysterical as well.
I could watch games like the one with the Hetzer. I dont like watching tier 10 battles. I have tier 10s, but the Hetzer brought me many many fun battles.

Bit of Elite Dangerous (grinding the Imperial rank as many have already done, just using a tricked out Imperial Courier to do so), out in the garden doing hump and dump of furniture for the olds, puitting up a chunk of fencing, decided "Sod that for a game of soldiers" and settled to down to the daily dose of Jingle with a pint... of gin and tonic. What? It saves time making another one as often so it's efficient!
I like Ensk. It's one of those maps that really suits how I want to play. In mediums theres plenty of alleys and lanes to fire up at unsuspecting idiots and for heavily armored tanks its just a joyful map to play provided the enemy team hasn't started spamming gold to make up the skill gap.
Isnt it amazing that on all your videos the "star" just happens to do everything right, aiming in right direction before tanks have been spotted, almost as if they are all knowing 😂
How the frick did WG need two and a half years to realise this tank is broken? How are they so incredibly slow? EDIT: also, how is the nerf so much less of a nerf than the progetto nerf?

My grandfather knew Otto Carius. In fact Otto Carius had a pharmacy after war. And my father owns his book “Tiger im Schlamm“ (~Tiger in mud) signed by him that he sold there.
Otto Carius was a commander to a Pz t(38?) that you talked about. I do not remember him being an ace in that tank, but he was a Tiger 1 ace in the Russian campaign.
i remember my favorite jingles video it involved a 212a on the enemy team and the player in the jegero it ended with the jegero(with a damaged engine) chasing the 212a arround the tower at the south end of the map(by the tracks). sad to see that video go
There are many other very entertaining low-tier derp guns to try if you want to feast on the tears of defenceless seals; I'm fond of the T40, and the Panzer IV H is fantastic given that it's a medium tank that gets to mount the Hetzer's derp gun
Akshually jingles, 430U has 90 mm hull side armor, there is a thinner strip but that's still 60 mm not 50 so it can't be overmatched by the 170 mm JPZ gun.
I love my hetzer i think id did over 3000 damage in it once its also the first ever tank i got an ace tanker and topgun medal in it was on the pearlriver map the good old days

Otto Carius was actually the loader in a 38t, up until it got hit in the front with the spall killing their driver and wounding Carius’s face
He also HATED the Jagdtiger. I met him in real life, about 3 weeks before his death, he's very kind.

Honestly, the sheer profusion of almost-OP derp guns on various vehicles has helped a great deal in making low tiers un-fun.

Most people learn not to sit in front of the bigass gun until they're sure it's unloaded first.

As for low tier HP buff, it was a good start, but they still need to match up based on number of battles played or one of those 'player rating' numbers.
Then imagine playing the T-92. On paper 1300 AVERAGE damage. Rarely rolls above 400.

I took five or six lines up to T4 and one up to T5 as I recall, and could count the number of matches I would call "fun" on one hand. So I'm glad she's having fun too. I hadn't heard about a hitpoint buff; that does indeed sound nice.
Jingles, I think you mean LT-432 is actually T-64. T100LT doesn't look remotely similar.

No dear Jingles the Panzer 38 and the T-38 (not a Hetzer) shared some parts, but not the chassis. This is a mistaken misconception many make.
I could watch games like the one with the Hetzer. I dont like watching tier 10 battles. I have tier 10s, but the Hetzer brought me many many fun battles.

Bit of Elite Dangerous (grinding the Imperial rank as many have already done, just using a tricked out Imperial Courier to do so), out in the garden doing hump and dump of furniture for the olds, puitting up a chunk of fencing, decided "Sod that for a game of soldiers" and settled to down to the daily dose of Jingle with a pint... of gin and tonic.
What? It saves time making another one as often so it's efficient!

I like Ensk. It's one of those maps that really suits how I want to play. In mediums theres plenty of alleys and lanes to fire up at unsuspecting idiots and for heavily armored tanks its just a joyful map to play provided the enemy team hasn't started spamming gold to make up the skill gap.

The obj 430U's side armor cannot be overmatched, it has 90mm behind the tracks and an angled strip of 60mm behind 30mm of spaced armor.

I mean, it's not like the whole community was talking about this even before they released the tank to the main servers. Noooo. I'm sure a lot of man-hours went into analyzing the stats for this tank and coming up with the conclusion that all it needs is makeblieve cupola nerf.
@@mrjohnnybond Best part is, that "nerf" to the "weakspots" still leaves the cupolas with more armor than anywhere on the Maus turret (and that's only counting raw thickness). That whole supposed nerf is just a slap on the wrist to it, and WG is probably just going to use the outcry about the Progettos to cancel it (again) because "we hear you".

Otto Carius was a commander to a Pz t(38?) that you talked about. I do not remember him being an ace in that tank, but he was a Tiger 1 ace in the Russian campaign.

it ended with the jegero(with a damaged engine) chasing the 212a arround the tower at the south end of the map(by the tracks). sad to see that video go
5:27 when four randoms all rush a very slow non turret target and slaughter it was beautiful to watch
There are many other very entertaining low-tier derp guns to try if you want to feast on the tears of defenceless seals; I'm fond of the T40, and the Panzer IV H is fantastic given that it's a medium tank that gets to mount the Hetzer's derp gun

Akshually jingles, 430U has 90 mm hull side armor, there is a thinner strip but that's still 60 mm not 50 so it can't be overmatched by the 170 mm JPZ gun.

I love my hetzer i think id did over 3000 damage in it once its also the first ever tank i got an ace tanker and topgun medal in it was on the pearlriver map the good old days
Alexander and back then it’s angled armour did well versus the guns it faced. Think it was first tank I got nine kills in. The next was the Sherman.
