- I bought this Pidi Chana Aloo to Review ! So what was it like ?
The Sauce was sweet and Hot with a definite Chilli kick - The Potatoes were cooked perfectly - The Chick peas added some body but sadly are not for me ! overall it was nice and full of flavour but for me the Chick peas let it down ! on personal choice I would not buy this again - I can not recommend it unless you like Chic peas - I score this 5 out of 10

Ahh ya poor bugger 🤧. You're not sounding any better than yesterday. Business is brisk for the doctors atm. I hope you can manage a squeeze in sometime soon.
Yeah chickpeas are not for everyone, but fortunately they are for me and I buy the MTR channa masala regularly. Yum!
If you can get it in a ready made, but more likely a restaurant made 'Aloo Gobhi', maybe better suited to your tastes. It's a cauliflower and potato curry without a chickpea in sight, Lol.
Here's hoping some of those spices are helping you fight this nasty chest infection you have. If not, then they're keeping your guts warm for a while at least. Better than nothing.

G'Day, John, thank you for the comment - I am still under the cosh at present but hopefully it will pass soon ! Chickpeas are not a favourite of mine but I dont mind Hummus - I do like Aloo Gobi - hopefully the spices will kill whatever has taken up residence in me ! have a great Thursday Mate:-)
Oh dear Graham, you really don't sound too good. I've had 'something' since before Christmas and it's only last week that the cough started to subside. Let's hope you get an appointment soon and some antibiotics inside you ! Keep going with these warming recipes though, it's good to eat something tasty. Take special care - you and your wife. 🙂

That's my favourite Curried chickpeas. Used to get mine from Lidl, but they don't longer sell them. I,ll look out for them as I work near Farmfoods. Greetings from a sunny Holyhead.

Hi Graham, there is something called hMPV about as well as colds, flu, Covid, pneumonia...not good. They've mentioned people possibly wearing face masks again. Like Paul mentioned, chickpeas i prefer in hoummous, but i don't mind a very small amount in a curry, along with a few lentils. Next time i'm in Farmfoods i'll take more notice of these products 🙂👍

I did notice that most of the doctors in the hospital were wearing masks and one of the told my wife that he was very tired of dealing with respiratory illness,s as there were so many different kinds doing the rounds ! he did say that Covid was rife in the wards again ? Chickpeas are just not for me I do not like the texture of them at all - This range of sauces are really good and at Farmfoods prices are excellent value - Wishing You a lovely Thursday :-)
