    Is this a simple bolt in? And where'd you get the replacement part?

      @@JA-yc8yr so yes it’s simple. Just unscrew the bolt. I can’t remember where I got it. I think I had autozone order it. It was $50 when I changed it so hopefully it’s not more expensive now

    did your "death rattle" go away when car is warm? mine is only noise during cold start.

      No it was definitely the tensioner bolt. As soon as I changed it you could tell it was gone. It was basically slop in the chain slapping the valve cover

    I think I deleted a comment on accident. No you don’t have to open the valve cover to hold the timing chain in place.
