    Nice job, my friend. I’ve been through the same kind of job for my last 15 years drywall repairs only and I can tell your process is the same as mine. Five minutes mad only AC companies is A lot of work to do fixing scatter holes. I can tell you got a experience

    Great job. Your process is flawless. Whoever build that shower should have applied kerdi-band (waterproofing membrane) on the transition between shower and drywall. Also that tile should have gone up to the ceiling. Obviously shower build was a "touch" iffy with lack of confidence. I would not trust in that shower's waterproof capabilities. 🤷‍♂️

    good videos, i have no interest in drywalling but i like to watch your videos. which is a great thing. Keep going with consistant uploads and your channel will get big fast. Same thing happened to a concrete contracter i watch. your content is very easy to watch even for those not in the same trade, or any trade for that matter. From an editing standpoint the logo in the bottom right might be a bit big and distracting so maybe make it a bit smaller or fade it to more transparent after the first few seconds of the video but i like the logo. Keep up the great videos im already subbed and liked.

      @@johndavidson5564 first off, I appreciate you taking the time to write this. It’s really cool hearing from people like yourself that aren’t in the trade…Glad you’re enjoying the videos and me being new to this I definitely appreciate the feedback. I thought the same thing once I opened it up on the tv, it looked a lot smaller in the laptop. Will change it up in the next one. Thank you for the sub and likes🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼

      I know my way around some drywall/patch work/water damage remodeling. I love to see that I you work how I work, albeit with a few more years experience.
      I can watch your clean ass patching all day 🤣 but im mostly interested in your systems, truck set up, back end type stuff.
      I've done my fair share of side gigs and I have gotten a nice lil reputation but I've never fully went out on my own yet.
      You legit run the exact business I am trying to , so I mad appreciate all the insight.

    What does it mean when the mud reacts?

    • @thedrywalltech
      @thedrywalltech  9 часов назад

      @@misaelherrera1688 when the chemicals in the mud are reacting to the paint on the walls. So the mud itself is not drying or adhering like it should so it starts to almost crumble as you are scraping it . So you have to do more coats when that happens or wait a lot longer than usual so it can dry. So a 5 minute mud will turn into a 20 min mud

      @@thedrywalltech TSP?? Presanding? There should be some type of degreasing before addig mud to walls. At least thats what is done before painting. If it reacts theres contamination.

    • @chriscolameco6850
      @chriscolameco6850 7 часов назад

      @@jamest1375it reacts because it’s not fresh rock.
      Fresh drywall will absorb the moisture, painted services, especially oil, high sheen, or high tech like duration won’t, and then you get adhesion problems and bubbles.
      Usually hot mud works fine, it’s more with bucket mud, adding wood glue fixes some of those problems
