We can give Tyler some extra points for the bottle down the front of the suit though. It turns out that was actually helping aerodynamics although it's not clear if it was intentional in this case 😂

Cane creek breaks got bike down under 17 pounds. That’s what is under tape.
You also are doing a side in photo. Do a frontal area photo! You need to spend more time in a wind tunnel if you don’t understand what’s going on here.
Also I’m not dropping thousands of dollars on aero crap that makes your bike a tank.
That setup got 7th in 70.3 Worlds. Ceramic Speed and GTN did a video explaining reasons.
With an LT 2 of under 300watts, I did ok for myself and my watts post race were always less than others. = good speed to watts. And my power to weight was very bad so weight mattered to me.
And bottle above arm isn’t always slower, just as gels filling in space from arms to acrobars.
Also is this a 2018 photo?
Why don’t you look to 2013 and critique that. That’s when I first started to use an aero plate under bars. Everyone laughed. Now they know it’s way faster!
Also tunnel data showed after Kona 2013 my position (people ripped apart) wasn’t actually that slow.
But hey if you’re upset at crap in my draft from a side on photo.
Well, my bad. Next time I’ll try to make you happier.

Ps. I agree we should do better!
The Trek and Pinarello did better with an aero cable break.
P5 was amazing and still is when Dan Bigham is still using till new Pinarello setup.
But the magura breaks didn’t do well with traveling always (which pros do a lot) and different size rims which Mavic my sponsor had at the time. And Cane Creek breaks worked well and super lightweight.
So again, it looked bad. But had multiple reasons why it was done. And thankfully the bike industry is doing better.
