Look at a tutorial video of a real pro from Finland. RISTO KOSONEN KALANKASITTELY. Risto could bebthe champion of the world. He was 7 times Finnish champion and he is absolutely best that I have seen in youtube.
new way?? there no skill in cutting right through the bones. try going around them. that itself takes skill. when i clean walleye, i go around the lateral bones and clean the rib bones and still do a better job.
@CanadianOutdoors this guy doesnt know how to work around the bones without having cuttin the bones off. i can do a better job filletin walleye. the 2nd part of this just shows how rookies do it.

Only thing I found interesting is the twist & pull the rib bones out. Now he talks about getting all the meat but does not cut out the cheeks.
