Woke up and the Columbia River was gone. What the heck?

You would think after spending your life sailing on a river you would not be shocked by a thing like the TIDE. It had just been a while since we were so close to the coast and forgot about the 8 + foot tide. You do not pay as much attention to tides when your craft only draws 5 inches. Good for a laugh.
