I've still got a lot to work on before I'd be happy to do a garden tour. I hope this would suffice for now, haha!

Your videos have made me so much more confident with my succulent gardening. I just recently fell in love with these plants and did a bunch of research so I could care for them best as possible and start my own garden. The most informational videos that do not overcomplicate anything. Vey stress free and fun! super gorgeous plants, plus, you make it look so easy and have a great talking voice! looking forward to seeing even more videos by you in the future. It would be cool to see more individual plant care from you! thanks !

Neem oil treatment would work even during winter . Because it isn't affected much by rain. And it's a fungicide and pest treatment all in one

    • @Cerriscapades
      @Cerriscapades  5 лет назад

Good idea. I could do that on the potted ones. Maybe not on the ones in the ground since they will burn when their farina dissolves.due to the oil... but then again if I really needed to save them with the oil methid I could always transfer them to pots and move them somewhere safer. Good suggestion, thanks man!

@@Cerriscapades you could just spray the soil and not the plants and allow it to absorb into the soil and kill the fungus

@@MultiDragon1313 oh right, not sure why I didn't think of it that way. I guess in my mind I got stuck on the pesticide aspect so I was imagining having to apply it on the plant. Anyway thanks for pointing this out, this seems like something I can try.

Probably at the end of winter. They are not doing much right now s8nce they are dormant. The last update was from last month in case you missed it though!

Do it anytime. Even more so when it is always humid or raining, that way there's always ventilation and airflow beneath the plants. This will prevent fungus from growing as much.

    Hello
I have been watching your videos for a while now and really learn a lot from you
I have made a succulent steam inspired by you in my from garden which is admired by family and visitors
I make sure I tell them I was inspired by you and tell them about your video channel
As we live in the outer suburbs of Melbourne your tips are very helpful for me as our climate is similar to yours
I heard you mention that sometimes you sell your surplus succulents and cuttings
I would much rather buy and support you rather than buy from shops
Please let me know when you are willing to sell some as I would be very grateful
I also love how you involve Zac, your son, with gardening
It’s important to foster a love for plants and nature as children are the next generation of gardeners
I look forward to watching your videos and the progress you are making
    With kind regards 💕💕💕

Could you tell us what your low temperatures are during your winter? I'm in Central Florida and worry about my outdoor succulents when in the upper 30s, low 40s. I was thinking since they are in the ground and shaded well by a huge oak tree, that they might survive their first winter here.

I planted a lot of succulents just before winter and now that it is winter, they seem weak and the bottom leaves are shrivelling up and I don't know why. Should I cover them up to reduce the amount of sunlight and how should I water them?

Hi there. Where are you from? Is it warm where you're from? with rot, it's usually either microbial or fungal. Fungus is more common especially when it is warm and always wet.

@@Cerriscapades I have the same problem too. I live in Indonesia and it often rain here. Most of my succulent rotted. If the cause is fungal, is it possible for me to mix the soil with abit cinnamon powder as I ever heard cinnamon can prevent fungal.
