I just picked up Age of Rome, and I’m really stoked to play it. Some great picks here! I haven’t played Lost Ruins of Arnak or Tidal Blades yet. Stone Age is a classic, and Champions of Midgard I think is good, but probably not in my top 10. I would definitely have Russian Railroads on there. The worker placement is pretty standard in that game, but the ramp up of points is amazing! First round? Get maybe 3 points. Second? Maybe like 7 more. By the sixth round, you’ll be earning like an extra 90 points, and having a total of 250+ points by the end. Very satisfying, even if you lose by like 60!
What are some of your favorite worker playment games?
Great list! I'm a big fan of a lot of the same games! Champions of Midgard and Lost Ruins of Arnak are some of my favorite games of all times!
Thanks for the video Just a Geeky Dad! Great honor to have Age of Rome in this list!
