@@Englishwithjennifer hello Jennifer as I am Bangladeshi I know some English but I want to know English better how can I start from the very beginning so that I can learn English very quickly if you could tell me a little I would be very helpful
I think, Jennifer, you managed to create an indelible impression on me by tweaking the same text over and over again. And I wanna say that each of your edits added more complexity to the simple text in the beginning. By the way, I'm really happy your content helps me expand my vast vocabulary even further. I believe my appreciation can't really be expressed in any words of any language. The only thing I can say, though, is just, thank you so much. Greetings from Ukraine. Keep it up?
Wow. That's wonderful to hear! I love your use of a highlighted collocation. :) You're exactly the kind of learner who will benefit from this progression from A1 to C1. The full C2 version is on Patreon, but even here you can appreciate how it's possible to elevate the writing with attention to just a few elements like reducing repetition and using more descriptive, dynamic words. The addition of details also displays a stronger command of the language. Please consider writing a few sentences about a trip you took in the past. Challenge yourself to revise it a few times, making it better each time. Have fun! Take care and best wishes to you!
I'm glad everytime I come back to check on your channel I always learn something new! I wonder if native english speakers feel the same. Thank you for your dedication!
I'm thrilled to know you continue to learn with me. I learn as well with each year and with each video. There's always something to refine, clarify, or view differently. I wish more native speakers would value the skill of writing, starting with punctuation and grammar but then moving to skills like being concise, avoiding repetition, and maintaining the tone. We shouldn't depend on AI to produce a solid text. We can use AI for support and editing, but having a strong grasp to begin with positions us for greater possibilities. Language is a beautiful thing, and being able to use it with confidence empowers us. I hope to see you again soon for another lesson. Take care.
It's wonderful to hear you're finding these level lessons helpful! 😊 The full C2 text is on Patreon, but I hope everyone benefits from studying the five models presented here.
I'm very happy to hear that! I like writing skills, and I think it's important to see the progression of levels. So far, you've seen speaking models at different levels. This video presents writing models. I will likely target a different skill next, but we can certainly come back to another writing topic. Thank you for watching today! Take care.
1 - This is about frequency. Do they run their route every hour, every 30 minutes...? How frequently do the buses run their routes? This is a question we'd ask if we want to know how long we need to wait at a bus stop. 2 - When does service stop? This is a question we'd ask if we want to know the latest we can expect a bus to provide transportation for us.
I have study tips on my website. :) Please read, write, listen, and speak. You may like my Oral Reading Fluency series. ruclips.net/p/PLfQSN9FlyB6RumUTLuDAGY3m6YpBLHSsw
I'm tempted to switch the bit about the inn offering a stunning view to the top of the paragraph. The other alternative is to create a small paragraph that describes the location. Paragraph 2 - Perched on a grassy hill, this quaint hotel offered a stunning view of the lake. During the day, my daughter and I, along with others, took full advantage of the scenery by taking leisurely strolls. As we breathed in the fresh air and marvelled at Mother Nature, we came to the conclusion that Squam Lakes is the ideal location for people who desire tranquillity and splendour. # Please note that the previous writing assignment has been posted in the comment section of your previous video. Do you see it there? 🤔
Lovely ideas. Thank you for sharing! I also appreciate your word choices, especially these: grassy hill, marveled, tranquility. I explored more options in the C2 version, which is posted on Patreon. I did approve that previous comment, but then it disappeared from view. I'll try to refresh the comment section again. Apologies for the delayed response. As you know, comment sections can be somewhat unpredictable.
@@Englishwithjennifer Thank you! This is a very good lesson. Reducing repetition can be frustrating, for it involves extra work and attention to detail.
Please know that we all experience frustration when we learn a language. We can grow impatient if we forget it's a process. The key is to take steps regularly. If you do this, then you'll realize a few months from now, that you did make progress. Be forgiving of yourself when you make mistakes. When you learn something new, try to apply it. For example, did you learn a new word or phrase from this video? Write a sentence with it. Use it. Make it familiar. Take the time to read and listen. Expose yourself to the models that inspire you. I'm here to support you through my videos.
A little at a time. www.englishwithjennifer.com/students/yt-videos/ Watch a lesson and then practice using that grammar. If you're reading something an you come across unfamiliar grammar, try to understand it in context. You can ask ChatGPT to identify the grammar in a sentence. For example, it may be "stative passive," and you think, "What's that?" Then see on RUclips if a teacher (me or someone else) has a lesson with more explanation, examples, and practice.

These questions ?
1- How often do the buses run?
2- How late do the buses run?
Thanks in advance!

Hi ma'am
I have a doubt related to Narration.
Tom said, 'I am going to London tomorrow.'
Change it into indirect speech please.
Tom said (that) he was going to London the next day. (also: the following day)
Hope that helps!
