To be honest, it's like this is the industrial revolution for this generation. Like, we are advancing so much, slowly each day. I feel pretty optimistic about the future. At first, I was scared too, lol, not ready to accept the new changes, but slowly I'm accepting it. I look forward to the age of technology. Here's hoping for a better world

When I look at the world today I see economies falling everywhere, war popping up, natural disasters and global warming. At this point the main thing keeping me optimistic about the future is technology like VR/Ar, self driving, drones, longevity, robotics and specifically A.I, being at the center of it all. We will have the tools to create the closest thing to utopia if we pull this off right.

Wow a positive video on AI that was unexpected. Hope this technology improves further in the future.
AI is something we have never experienced before. A truly non-human intelligence. An outside perspective that doesn’t fall into the same mental traps we do. They can see patterns we miss. They can analyze data at a rate that makes a human seem on par with an amoeba in terms of mental capacity.
We are already seeing how LLM is becoming true AI, And it’s clear that we are on the cusp of a seismic shift in society. Whether this new tool will be used for good or evil is something only time can say.

This is a far better use than trying to abolish human creativity in the arts & not compensating artists for training data.
The idea of compensating artists for training data is completely absurd. An artist never compensates another artist for learning and getting inspiration from the other's work. You just can't REPRODUCE the copyrighted work for comercial purposes. People who complain about this are moaning like angry children. I know it's hard, but things evolve. I'm a software engineer and because of AI I'm fukt, and you won't see me moaning around just cause they learned from my opensource code on github. Suck it up and grow up.
AI wouldn't have the stigma it has if it weren't for the fact that they're trying to replace artists, voice actors, writers etc instead of using them for manual labor, and as a tool for medical research and practice.

Im so excited for the future where almost all diseases can be cured . But i still have a slight worry where the doctor diagnosis might interfere with ai diagnosis when ai is correct

Some of them it's just cost and complexity. Others, will fix very much *some cancers* within the same group. Breast cancers and Taxane (the Yew tree poison), but not all cellular mutations. Some are possible but not viable as an en masse treatment (no idea if the wealthy elite can access those under special circumstances, probably, lbr... Sad). But the situation is more complicated than No no, no cure for you. (Generally)

@@Insky_genome training? I don't know how you'd make that with a vaccine. Using HIV like behaviour probably. Retrovirus' hijack your DNA and manipulate what and how it builds. Thus causing illness. So the same thing could without doubt be done and utilised to hijack it to positive results.

Like any new technology, I see great benefits for using AI, such as in the field of medicine and am optimistic about it.
However, it's the misuse of it by evil, greedy, and stupid people that worries me.
What I worry about most, is that ai will help the rich get richer, and everyone else getting even poorer. But I hope that ai will help in some other ways to make some new small business ideas come alive. One idea I have is to set up a little place in a touristy spot, where people can come, like individuals or couples, and I can take a couple photos of them, then the ai can instantly 3D model them, put them in a cool outfit, or do a neat kinda style, and then 3D print them. As a neat little souvenir or something. Same kinda idea as people getting their self portrait done on the street, except I don't have any talent lol. All I have is the idea and the resources to set it up. But unfortunately the tech isn't there yet. It will soon though. 3D printers are kinda whack though. But you get the idea. Some new opportunities like that would show up. And hopefully make things better, and not worse
Also there is a little game I found called "animash" where you can merge any 2 things together, like for example a chihuahua + pirate, or lava + pineapple, or skeleton + beetle, etc. And the ai makes them into 1 thing. There's probably like a million or more different things you can make. And most of the things it makes are surprisingly good quality. Each one also has a funny little description written by the ai too. Its nothing that great, but a neat little gimmick which gave me a few hours of fun lol. I really like these little fun new things you can do thanks to ai
This is great news!! But will AI deny me healthcare because I'm race, sex, or political views? I mean AI did change the race of ALL the American founders here recently. Which I could care less, if it were true. All I'm saying is that AI has done and said some rather disturbing things imho. So I'm not sure I, at least at this moment, would trust AI with my life. But of course the main thing to really worry about is the programmers that can, and have/do, change the parameters for which AI operates within. If for whatever reason I, or you (the reader), happen to be within a group of people the programmers don't like or disagree with. What is that person going to tell AI to do with us? For example, kicking out the wrong diagnosis. I'm not saying, but I'm saying. Stranger things have happened is all.

There's going to many misdiagnosis, the a.i. industry is still a baby, it still is crawling and had barely left the crib.
Image recognition devices have existed for over a decade, have that process through thousands if not millions of pictures of positive and negative diagnosis will make it possible ascertain within seconds a positive to negative diagnosis. Its not really in its infancy with regards to diagnosis if im going to be honest

Doctors aren't going away for A LOOOONG TIME. AI will be a tool in the toolbox while the doctors will still have to make a fundamental diagnosis and treatment plan. What will happen though is doctors will become more overworked like everyone else who has to keep up with the pace of tech.
