Love how easy it is to change the oil in these!
Right?!
Very well explained.
Thanks for watching
I have had two Lucernes since 2007: The first was a new 2007 CXS and the second was a 2008 Super. I changed the emblems on both of them to "Wildcat" (one on each front door and the bigger one on the trunk), with the 1964-style lettering. Always got interesting comments wherever I went. The next conversion will be a 2010 or 2011 CXL with the 3.9 V6 Flex Fuel engine! This time I will install two wildcat circular logos as well; they look like ferocious, grown-up cougars!
I bought a 2011 Buick Lucerne CXL three hours ago in Wichita, Kansas! So, I will have my GM 3900 V6 soon!
Hell yeah! Nice. Like the touch with the wildcat badges!
If it ain’t leakin it ain’t runnin. I’m gonna use that one
Thanks DUDE ‼️

thank you sir.......
if i may ask; is there a dip stick for the transmission fluid check on the 2009 3.9 engine model........Thanks Willie
I believe there is... I think on the passenger side back of the engine should be a red dip stick handle for the transmission
May I ask, do you change oil at the Chrysler dealer ????
I did change oil about 10 years ago here at the Ford Chrysler dealership I work for. I have been Managing the bodyshop since 2015
I have an 08 is that a 3900 engine or 38
2008 buick Lucerne has the 3.8L (3800)
Is the 2011 model 3.9 motor any good oh yes gm transmission that’s another story lol
Yes the 3.9 v6 engine was available. But they also offered a 4.6 v8 North Star engine too.
@@TheWiscoGuyz was the 3.9 any good of a motor
I haven't heard anything bad about them
Oil leak on front of the engine... is this normal for lucerne? No wrenches, man?
It's a GM... If it's not leaking oil it isn't running. Lol. I don't use wrenches for oil filters if I can get them off by hand.
@@TheWiscoGuyz I’m planning to get this model... would you recommend? Oil consumption problem, oil leak?
@@alzem2200 I have heard the transmissions are a little weak in them
@@alzem2200 With high mileage, the engine will begin sipping/leaking. All GM cars pretty much suffer from this. A quart of oil added with every oil change cycle should be fine.
It not a 3900 it a 3.9 even the auto parts store even tell u that lol
