Alright guys so I have a request. I’m getting a lot of questions about what graphic settings to run. So if you have the sim, It would be awesome if you can comment your PC specs (monitor resolution as well) and the FPS you are averaging. I know scenery and airplanes have a big impact on FPS so the more specific the better! That way people can use this as a reference
I7 7700k RTX 2080TI 32 GIGS OF RAM - Running in High End Settings @ 4K.
I7-8700k, GTX 1080, 16gb ram, on HDD I get pretty fast load times”faster than x plane 11” running in mostly high setting.
On airlines I get 20-30 FPS average in cockpit
On GA I get 30+ FPS in the cockpit
On all aircraft in the external view I get 40+ FPS
r5 3600 rtx 2070 super 16 gb ram high end settings full hd i love ur facecam angle
I got 20 fps flying between buildings in New York (cockpit cam) with the Icon A5
I am running 4K-Ultra with only aa turned off, just for eye candy while I get setup lol
I'll turn it down when I'm done with that bc the trim and throttle speeds depend on FPS, soo annoying
Specs: I9-9900K, MSI 1080, 32gb 3800 RAM, 4K monitor.
I7 10700K RTX 2070 super, 32GB ram, 100mbps. 60hz monitor from 2008 haha. I’m running 1080p though and I am getting very smooth frame rates on mostly high settings. Used ultra and didn’t notice it looked that much better but it did stutter more. Clouds from ultra to high went from 30 to 47 around the Denver city area in the bonanza.

Lucky bastard😂 I wasn’t in to aviation and was honestly afraid of flying but now I love it and I also knew nothing about building a pc. I got a pre-built as my first pc and it was able to run seige and other games perfectly. I then got into aviation and got X plane 11 only to find out I got 19 FPS in the zibo 737 at demanding areas, my pc is only like 2 years old coming this Christmas so it still has a long life left ( I think?🤣) I have a gtx 1060 3gb and a relatively weaker intel cpu so I can’t even imagine Msfs on my pc, I want to upgrade and I have the money but to be honest my mum wouldn’t get a new one until it literally will no longer turn on as it will probably be considered a waste of money lmao. Hopefully one day now that I understand how to build a pc I can get a better one 😃

Just found out this RUclips channel, I don't have money to buy X plane 11 or MSFS 2020 so I see RUclips content for fun. Really love this type of vids and man you got my support you will make a very good channel in future. I hope one day when I will have MSFS 2020 we will fly together but it'll need a year of saving for a guy like me. Anyways I'll be tuned to content. Keep flying. I have a decent hardware but I seriously need This sim, I currently use the X plane 11 Demo. LoL

Thanks for the video. You just gave me hope that my i9-9900K/2080Ti can run this game at Ultra when most reviews said even the 3090 can't run the game fully maxed out at 4K. The render scaling is a godsend and the graphics still looks stunning.
Don’t worry you most definitely will be able to Max everything out. Maybe 4k heavy cities could see some lower fps but 2k without a doubt smooth ultra. Make sure you have 16-32gb of ram and a quality ssd and you will have no issues

What I'd love to see being front Jamaica is you flying there maybe just a chill flight from from Norman Manley International Airport to Donald Sangster International Airport you can swing by the North Coast hugging the coastline it's really pretty.
Parking locations: keep zooming and you should see the locations as click spots positioned relative to the runway.

hey young fella.....remember me?...lol....totally enjoying your channel..and the SIM is fantastic....like you said..a PAIN in the backside to get setup on the controls but I kinda thought that would happen. I'm using an ancient Saitek Cyborg 3D Gold USB joystick and I bought this ages ago and hardly been used. It's sadly limited in it's functionality (only has 10 buttons plus an 8 position HAT) so setting it up has been a compromise in progress.

There are plenty of people that unsubscribe to that show their face who played flight simulator but I mostly subscribe to real pilots doing it but I will also keep an eye on your channel
I’ve shown my face since the beginning and switch it up between videos and some times show my face very little or non at all. So if they don’t like it they prob wouldn’t subscribe in the first place
have to remember to hand craft 37000 airports would be a no go, some of my non hand crafter airfields have hangers missing but is expected, but it will get better all the time, as for liveries for aircraft, the standard aircraft have no extra liveries, the market place CT182T by Carenado has five liveries with it, so gives you an idea of how the livery system works, but be advised, when buying addons, you have to add funds to an account to be able to purchase anything.

Something i would like to see is a more detailed satellite view of the globe when you pick your airport because it can be a little hard to find things i want to spawn to. Also if you cant punch in certain addresses to spawn you at it would be cool to be able to punch in latitudes and longitude numbers.
Jack Britt 1000% agree with you. I talked about that in the video it was hard to find those tiny airports with no roads or anything to reference, really hope they add a satellite view to the map

I mean you gotta open up one time to make sure shits working right before filming a whole video.. it’s called planning ahead. I explained in the video I haven’t used it except to just make sure everything was working. Loaded up in huge airport and FPS was terrible. Unless you wanna watch 20 min of me getting the right settings and wasting your time idk why you even felt the need to comment that lol

i7 8700K , 1080TI, 32GB RAM@ 3000Mhz, 1440p HIGH settings:
At the densent cities (KLAX, KSFO, etc), with the 787 (787 gives the worse frames so far): 25-30fps cockpit view, 40-45 fps outside view. A320 in the densest cities 30-32fps cockpit view
I noticed throughout your videos the honeycomb is mounted differently. Instead of your desk, how or what have you mounted too?
It’s mounted to a second section that I built out of wood. To get myself a little further from the screen. If you are interested in up close pictures comment your email and I’ll send you a picture where you can see it better
My Saitek x52 was working perfectly fine for the first couple hours then it randomly stopped. I went into the settings and the bindings were all deleted. I basically have to go and rebind everything myself now if I want to use it. This is soooo disappointing because I was initially having a good time

Why didn’t you put the lead N in front of your tail number 1629E?
You didn't actually get more fps by undocking the ATC windows, the FPS counter just started reading that particular ATC window FPS instead of the actual game FPS, because it treats the ATC windows (or any other undockable window in the toolbar) as a "game", so it reads it.
The reason your FPS jumps between monitors is because ur main display is 4K and I would assume ur second monitor is 1440 or prob 1080 and it’s 1/2-1/4 of the resolution sooo less work=better frame rate. So if you turn your resolution in game to 1080 it should be good on either monitor and probably increase the render distance to equal it out

I'm running 2560 1440p, everything turned to high and global rendering up to 150. Smooth frames until i go to places like NY.
Your fps doubles because fps counter is showing fps from the window on the second monitor not the main one. So fps counter is actually showing fps of the window not the main game. I have the same issue, so now I can't determine how many fps I have unless I close the popped up window.
How do you get it to show FPS on screen?

What you have to do is click on airport and it should be something like
Departure
Arrival
Details click the last one and you will get a better picture of the airport

TO get your saitek panels to work you will have to purchase the driver utility from Spadnext. After Logitech bought Saitek they basically killed it off. The kept making and selling the product but they ended software support for it. Spadnext partially works right now and won't be 100% until simconnect works right and they release a full SDK.
Right now there are issues in the game so Simconnect causes a frame rate hit and glitchyness when communicating with external software and hardware. Asobo is aware of the issue and working on it.

I get the awesome graphics, scenery, etc. I look forward to getting that, but as an instrument GA pilot, I'm interested in how this new sim does in the ATC system; shooting approaches, vectoring to join the localizer, flight planning with SIDs and STARs, etc. Does this new simulator enhance that kind of experience over, say, FSX (which I find fairly useful for instrument practice)? Would love to see some coverage on that.
Charles DeVore honestly that’s all going to come down to using VATSIM, the built in atc is not the best. As for flight planning it has all of the above but vatsim is what I would use for realistic atc since it’s actually real people working the frequency’s

Nope it turns off and it can be adjusted with a button on the back to turn it off or adjust brightness

Hi, I was wondering if you can play this MFS in a laptop? Or will I need special hardware equipment to be able to play this MFS. I wanted to get it for my son (9 year old). He loves planes! He just has a laptop computer.
Hey there! If you’re gonna use a laptop it’s going to have to be a very high end laptop? What kind of laptop is it? I suggest buying FSX or xplane 11 for now since those are much less demanding

nice setup! want to get that yoke soon. I noticed when i turn v sync off and the frame limiter off I get around 5 fps more even though my fps never hits 60. Give it a try

Realistic how so? Is it too sensitive or what? And what are you using for controls?
@@mateo1994 it just pops up so abruptly so when I actually fly my muscle memory forgets to use full back pressure and I land on all 3 wheels sometimes I just wish the force I pull back on my saitek toke was the same as my real plane just seems to responsive I barely pull back and I’m like almost inverted

I’m not too familiar with Ryzen but it’s really going to depend on your resolution and the monitor you have, do you have 1080, 2.7k, 4k? You should be able to run pretty decent settings at 2.7k, prob hit close to max on 1080. I’m goin to try to gather feedback from the community we can all help eachother out with that
