After watching several lousy MSFS-related RUclips videos, it was very refreshing to watch one that was well prepared for, got right to the point, easy to listen to and understand. Thanks!
Congrats on 5K Subs! Hope you're doing well. My X56 Hotas arrived yesterday. Because of the popularity of the sim and the virus I had to pay almost double. Such is life.
Thanks for posting this video! I just ordered the Honeycomb Alpha Yoke and Bravo Throttle Quadrant. I've been sitting on MSFS2020 since I got it last August or so and haven't really taken the time to set it up yet because of some other things I had going on that took priority but now I'm ready to start using it and my old CH Fighterstick that I've always used in IL2 and even X-Plane 11 just isn't cutting it on the little bit of flying I have done so far on MSFS2020. I've been using a Thrustmaster TWCS Throttle but that is going to be replaced this Friday when my order is due to arrive. I appreciate the time you took to cover this info on your inputs and settings! Earned yourself a new subscriber!!
Hi Planet Flightsim I’m back commenting again, but this time I have a question. I got msfs2020 and with the honeycomb yoke, is the tension great enough to tilt a desk or tip over the monitor because I’m scared that will happen?
Yes! Be very careful with that, I have my table mounted to the wall so this very reason. Its got a ton of resistance in the elevator inputs. Make sure you have a very heavy table or mount it to the floor or wall if you can
How do you have that saitek throttle quadrant plugged in to your pc ? I'm trying to figure that out myself as I have the yoke and have the saitek quadrant and trying to figure out how to plug the quadrant in, can you please let me know, thanks.
Do you happen to know how to enable the preset button and axis assignments for FS2020? Nothing is assigned for me even under "Alpha Yoke Profile". I think there are supposed to be default assignments. I really don't want to have to manually assign them all. I've installed the drivers from the site.
Good Planet FlightSim, thanks you for making this vid. I have a question, what is the card on the clipboard on the desk/left side. Thank again for making the vid. Have a great flight.
Great channel. Love your set up but I am looking at doing a three screen set up for my son and I. I see a lot of issues other folks are having. Is it worth it? What are your thoughts on three screens?
Im new to this, my throttle quadrant only has old school ps1/2 connection for the yoke pro package but i have a honeycomb? I am returning the logitech bundle, I have the honeycomb throttle backordered. Does the individually ordered logitech quadrant have usb or am I missing something? Great video, thanks.
So I know there was a bundle that had that connection, I remember owning it 12+. Years ago and it was sold directly with the yoke. The independent throttle quadrant always had usb
So if it’s the bundle it was only made to work with that yoke for the most part. Usb quadrant exist out there and that what you want. I am also waiting for the honeycomb throttle
Use Track IR or VR and never use external views, etc. I keep it sim vs 3rd person for realism. Will figure out other uses for key bindings. Thank you for all the other helpful info.
I actually sold it so I have no idea but I’m sure someone has posted a video of it. I have the radio panel now and that driver made it work so I’m sure there’s one now for the switch panel
Will you be doing a best control settings/assignments for the Honeycomb Bravo Throttle Quadrant when it comes out in November (if it doesn’t get pushed back once again)? Btw I love the content! Keep it up!
100% yes, I have it preordered hopefully will be here in a couple weeks hopefully sooner. And thanks so much! Soon as it’s in my hands I’ll do a open box video along with a review and control assignments
Nice video! Have my honeycomb set up almost like you and use the Logitech throttle (not found of that one though). One question that always been in my mind. Why is the honeycomb assigned to use both "trim buttons" as default? I know the Cessna 152 and 172 (if Im right) and prob more aircraft do have it like that but I dont understand why, in that case it could be just one button? I use the left one for trim up and down and the one next to it to hold for reverse thrust. Have I missed something?
So in all airplanes it’s all about redundancy, they always have a back up, so if there was a short (runaway trim) on one of the buttons you would have a back up to correct that. Off course us simmers dont have to worry about that but that’s why they do in real life, just to have a back up. I only use one as well as you could see.
Yeah man! I’ve ordered a bunch of stuff to give away and test and review but due to the extremely high demand everything is sold out and pending right now. As soon as stuff starts arriving I’ll start talking more about! Def coming soon though just waiting on the product

Could you make a short video on how to set up the hat switch and the saved views that you have. I really like that setting you have but I’m a little hesitant to start playing with stuff. I have a terrible reputation on messing up the simplest of things. I just got the Homeycomb Yoke and have two Saitek Throttle Quads.
Yeah man! I’ll be doing a video for the new setup with the the throttle and yoke! And I’ll go over all those settings again and I’ll make sure to add the hatch switch part in depth!
How did you map your zoom buttons? When I set it to zoom and use the buttons, it moves way too much, it immediately goes to full zoom in or all the way out, no in between. Any way to adjust button sensitivity? I've only found the yoke sensitivity
Yo anyone who is getting a flight stick soon get the "VKB Gladiator NXT" reviews are amazing, and it's very underated and price isn't inflated also can compete and is better than the x52 pro
@@mateo1994 I found out the answer. You can take off the panel thing on the top of the yoke that makes it a straight edge. So I you take it off there are holes from the screw hole and you can cover it up with the rubber caps.
Just if you don't know: The trim buttons on the joke are both for trim. It's a safety feature - you have to use both so you don't trim by accident. Don't know if MSFS supports that tho... ;o)
Off course! Both answers are correct! You hit both to trim and also have a back up to prevent runaway trim if one of the switches shorts out or something like that

Hey Tony! Glad you enjoyed the video! So in your control settings search for Aileron Axis and make sure it’s set to your yoke (turn motion) if not assign it.
