RiW Outdoors that one is a ripstik air. It comes with grip tape on it, but you can put grip tape on a g for sure.

1. buy a cheap skateboard
2. learn to Ollie on the skateboard
3. Learn to Ollie on a ripstick
I'm sure you could learn on a ripstick but honestly its much easier to learn on a normal skateboard and move on to the ripstick

That's what almost no tutorial tells you! Not with Ripsticks, not with skateboards. And that's the reason so many people have trouble with the Ollie (it was for me; I had tried for a while before I got I had to jump while popping the board 😅)

easier way to do it: push down on the tail, lifting up the front, then push on the front to lift the tail, easy as that

He means push down on the tail to get the nose up. Once the nosebleed is up and over the curb, lean onto the nose to lift the tail up and over the curb. Less of an Ollie, more like just crawling up onto the curb
