Samsung phones don't show the wi-fi password in alphanumeric value, only QR. And sharing means the QR's picture only.
Take a screenshot of the qr code and use a qr code scanning app that allows you to scan images. Scan the screenshot.

how about my phone with no share button, or qr sharer to see passwords, what im supposed to do?
Won't work on many newer phones. Only QR code shows to share your network, no wifi password

Am left wondering why one should do this Brian because to be honest I am not that savvy with my Google Pixel 6 Pro phone anyway. Still if it can show you who if anyone has tried to tap into my network? Now I would like to see what because I do get a few problems from time to time using my printer/s. What you advise as to keeping your printer in top condition would be great😉

This won't work. Got to wifi> settings icon on right side of your network> QR code> save as image> Google photos> click on QR code photo> lens.

I used the qr code but it didn't have the share button & I can't tell what the website you went to for the WiFi information
Does not work on my Samsung A52. The settings are different.
On Samsung phones go to Settings - Connections - Wi-Fi. Then at top right, tap the three dots and choose Advanced Settings. Then Manage networks

Works on pretty much any Android device, I've tried this before on older phones as well as newer ones. I think there are other ways you can find your wifi password on Android too.

Totally useless. I don't have network and internet settings. I did find the wifi network by clicking on settings and then on my wifi network and it displays the properties but no sharing button.
