Funnily enough I did Hatred on Hell mode TODAY. I used a rush strat with Lucky start's dodgy and auto-revive among other dps cards to win before hatred could use the big kapow move.
fun fact: when hatred dies, the apparitions (if there are any in the battle) die too, so if they had just killed hatred while it was at 1 hp they probably would have won oh yeah good job on winning this btw, if chapter 3 was this diffiicult on hell mode i can't even imagine what chapter 4 will be
@ yeah they definitely suck, but if you ever manage to get hatred back down to ~6 hp with your party, just target hatred with everything so the apparations aren’t an issue

I dont even know if its possible on solo since I couldn’t even finish him off in hard mode(prob a skill issue) on a new file because of hatred also having 2 turns to attack on the same turn.
@@Flebleusing my brain I can come up with a strategy that somewhat relies on rng. You’re gonna wanna use glue, ice storm and daze in attempt to minimize the amount of attacks they each do, This will be quite a hard fight as all its attacks target all players, shockwave will do 32 raw for each hit and apprehension will do 40 raw for each hit. Using safe guard and blocking you can reduce this to 12 and 16 damage. When phobias spawn, try not to get distracted by them as they die upon attacking a player. You’ll probably want to stack up on a bunch of jackfruits too due to being able to heal 20(25 with an ally) and 26(35 with ally) with item+ you’ll probably want the supporter to do this. The rest should focus on attacking. The supporter may also use bodyguard to try reduce damage taken. The supporter may also want to use 2 good vibes as they heal the whole party 8hp and 4sp for every turn they are sleeping. You’ll want to remember these key things. Use items/moves that may have a chance of stopping a fear from attacking, ignore phobias, use slingshot if you use knight as they don’t have defence. Good luck with this. It is possible but very difficult. Oh yeah one more thing. I’d avoid using ice dagger and venomshank, rather use Ghostwalker, it’s probably a better choice to use that and protect yourself against 2 fatal hits rather than healing or damaging.

19:20 you could've killed him and used venomshank instead of healing because when you defeat him the Appiritions die when hatred dies

Honestly I’d recommend this challenge with thick skull to replace gusto, it makes you reply more on timings and gives more of a challenge
