- How to Be a Witch? This is a question many of us have asked at some point. So if you're an absolute beginner, here are some pointers. Covering everything from the five elements of the pentagram, tools, raising a circle, the meaning of the directions, and how to actually put your first spell into practice, this guide will give you starting points to begin practicing witchcraft.

I could never relate to Buddhism as it is all about transcending this world and this life, whereas witchcraft is about being in, and of, this world and fully inhabiting the lives we've been given on this, our Earth.

I have a regular walk where I take my dog,Bodicea, which I've been doing for the past 12 years.
It's funny how I'm always drawn to a certain tree just to check up on it like you might an old relative or neighbour.
There's also a pool and some random stones that I also sometimes visit just to 'touch base ' with.
I've never actually thought about it or questioned why,it's always been what you do.

Interesting, i used to work on a smallholding gardening and general maintenance, hard work it was but I used to sit against an old Beech tree next to a stream and a pond and it seemed to energise me for the rest of the day like it had shared the earths energy with me, was never sure if I imagined it but felt rea
Beech trees are huge, wouldn't be surprised if it had energy to share. Yeah I love Beech.

Great video, I absolutely agree about being in tune with the Moon! Me too, I never do any work in new moon, I wait until I can see traces of it in the night sky. Being in Brazil, I have to be careful about correspondences and associations, especially when it comes to seasons because the wheel of the year/season correspondences do not really apply to my craft here in the southern hemisphere. Witchcraft in its root is about connecting with your immediate surroundings! I have to say I do not like Gardnerians... the fact he ran away in panic of a spirit confirms that Gardnerian wicca is not for me, lol, thanks for that anedocte!!
🤣 I love that story! So you would agree that some of it doesn't feel right for you? Yeah, I think there is a lot of fluidity in Witchcraft. Primarily, it not set in stone, so do what feels right to you. And yes, watch for those.... wtf!

Witchcraft is not a religion, but you can be both religious and a witch. Every witch has a different and deeply personal practice.
Professor Ronald Hutton describes it as the only religion that Britain ever gave to the world.. I just like the quote. It doesn't have to be a religion though, and if you want you can be a Christian Witch, a Heathen Witch, an Eclectic Witch, even an Agnostic Witch. True, the beauty of it is that you can bring whatever you want to it.

my tinnitus is a bit crazy, but I love sugar, especially in coffee. I have heard this. But I also think it's something to do with all the noise and electrical interference we get used to too. Funny I lived in a valley, left and din't notice until I came back and suddenly it all started again. Bit of both maybe. Yeah, ears and third eyes all connected, and hard to concentrate when that's all screaming in your head. Did that answer your question??
