This is a nice clean TA, the paint is obviously custom. They also added additional wheel flares in the back of the wheels , this is not standard. Also you mentioned that the “shaker” was an option and not all trans ams had them. All second generation TAs had shakers standard with the exception of the later Turbo versions that had a swept scoop for the service. These cars are appreciating well. Best of luck with the sale
@@Firebert79TA the wheel flares were instrumental in moving air around the wheels wells and keeping additional drag from building up, the additional flares would indeed be an aerodynamic drag.
prices are all over the map on these cars. Some are in the $40K's to $50K's and up. Then this one looks perfect and is only $26,995, hard to figure it out.
301 4bbl 150 to 155 hp , the only T/A that didnt have the Shaker that year were the trubo cars it dont recall the Snowflake rims still being available in 1981.
If u put the 8 inch wide rims w the lip,it will look even better. I noticed couple things,is good to show everything how it is. Cause when people get there they will see the real thing. I been follow a car dealership they only sell classic cars and they sell alot real fast. But I think the reason that this happened is cause the show everything how it is. The real thingy... Good things and bad things ,and they put couple cameras under the car and go back and forth....I said this respectfully,I'm addicted to this trans ams, they look really good...this one looks really good,do have couple things here and there.... merry Christmas to all✌️👌
Salvy More; You're talking about M.M. in Tenn. aren't you. Coyote Classics cars are more solid as a whole. Take Coyotes plum '70 R/T Challenger down there and folks be moving cars out of the way for that award winning gem. Damn that freaking car is saweet!!!
I too, really think that chocolate dash and tan interior looks great. Several of my friends had these when we were young teenagers and I never like the interior in these. Not the case here. Still not a big fan of that diamond shaped plastic around front dash. The cats who had these (4 kids) were very good at growing plants and getting top dollar for them. They all rode Honda V45's too. 2 of them were killed in one night on them. Young tadpoles with too much money in their pockets. PEACE from Philadelphia

The extra flares are kind of strange. A terrible choice aerodynamically, but very practical from a paint-saving perspective
