Konrad is the most jaggedly written primarch in the setting. He nearly kills The Lion in their first fight (the first time when Kurze was on top of Lion, strangling him and it took the interference and a Dark Angel to save Lion. I'm aware that he got bodied the second time.), but then Vulkan says he's weak and everyone went easy on him. I guess Konrad's only as strong as the plot needs him to be at any given time.

Konrad beat the crap out of Rogal to near death and fought Sangunious to a stalemate. He is also said to be like Corax's evil twin in power when Corax and Kurze met claws and saw each others eyes and Corax is top tier as well. So Curze is pretty top tier in melee. He also defeats Valkan in unremembered empire and kills him but he regenerates again.

It makes you love vulkan in a way you just cant love the other primarchs.its so heartbreaking watching him go through all that. That and personally, it removes any sympathy for Conrad i possibly might have had at any point afterwards. If there was a single brother he had that he should have been kind to, it was vulkan. Hes the only one who would have tried to empathize with him and even attempt to consider what he was going through. And rather than respect or appreciate that, he ripped dude apart. What character would each Primarch (or named characters from other 40k races, for wider angle) roleplay in a DnD game? (Emperor included)

The Salamanders need some love in the lore. They're usually just background characters when they deserve to be main characters. During the Great Crusade, they numbered as few as 7,500 Space Marines, but they still managed to bring planets into compliance just as effectively as some of the larger Legions, and have since not only recovered but managed to remain the most true to what they were when they were a Legion.

@seanyoung9014 batman can't kill his villains like joker for many reasons not just he doesn't like killing.
For one. Killing them opens up the extreme possibility of power wars for their underlings to take the place of who was killed or rival gangs. It also removes the trust of the GCPD in batman.
The most important reason is that if Bruce kills, he won't be able to stop. Unlike superman who doesn't have a no kill rule for that reason. Batman can't succumb once and that's the jokers whole mission. To get him to succumb. Gotham is ruined if Bruce Wayne kills

But chasing the night lords means ignoring cries for help from citizens they run past so… I get why they don’t. But I bet they wouldn’t refuse if a night lords war and were dumb enough to attack some civilians anywhere near a Salamander company. I’m gonna look up night lord salamander conflicts.
