why not just a use a satin paint? seems like it would be easier to get the result when putting the paint down. do they not make a paint or something you can add to the paint to get this look?
@@dirtrider88 you can actually use a satin clear coat (Rustoleum or Krylon) and do the same. The Tamiya sprays more evenly and coats well. Plus it’s made for Lexan. They don’t really make a good satin paint that goes in the outside that sticks to the bodies.

Hey Bradley, does it need more than one coat?
@@markbonham2648 I typically use 2 light coats. That gives it a pretty flat/satin look. Use hairdryer between coats. Dries in about 45 seconds.
