You guys keep asking us for more Tours of a Good, Affordable Liveaboard Power Yacht. So we are bringing you another very popular Aft Cabin Motoryacht Model: Cruisers 405 Express. We found one for sale in our Marina del Rey neighborhood in Los Angeles Area. Even though our Liveaboard Yacht is 47' overall due to the custom extended swim platform, the actual Meridian 408 Model is 42'. So this Cruisers Yacht is pretty much the same size as ours and would definitely make a good liveaboard for someone. It has a lot of great features, lots of liveable space, 2 Cabins with ensuites, an Open floorplan with a good galley, Big Diesel Engine Package, and lots more:) She would make a great Starter Yacht, a great weekend boat, liveaboard, or a Coastal Cruiser.
One thing I forgot to mention in the video is that if you are thinking of buying a Boat to Live on, the LOA does matter. For example, in MDR lots of Marinas require a boat to be a minimum of 35ft to be approved for an Official Liveaboard. #PowerYacht #CruisersYachts

I have never heard you mention security. If you're living aboard your boat, most of your valuable possessions will be on it. Do the boats lock up just like a house with a full security system? Is there 24 hour security at the marinas? Armed guards?
I must say, this is the best laid out 40 foot yacht you have ever featured. IMO, a couple could easily live on this boat.

So far, this is the best of your "Affordable" series, IMO. Not sure I would want to live aboard, but this would be a great vacation getaway boat.

There aint no savings in mooring. you can have a 30 ft boat and still have to pay for a 40 ft slip
Great video with outstanding commentary. Thank you for NOT doing the sloooow motion walk around like some of the larger brokers use, makes me sea-sick and I wanna throw them overboard with the anchor tied around them.

This had a different vibe. It had kind of a “Price is Right” quality. Great job. Seriously.
A couple of advantages of the shower & toilet layouts: 1. A person can take a shower while another is using the toilet PRIVATELY to both party's "benefit"; 2. One person can do their daily grooming with access to an unfogged mirror, while another is taking a shower. Also, the seat within the shower is a great feature that provides stability when a person needs it. Love the galley, too!! What a great yacht living layout.
Victoria always has great outfits. She was very bubbly 🍾 on this showing. This boat is a great value for short day trips.
Hi Victoria & Rico ! Great tour of the Cruiser motoryacht and it really is beautiful. I was amazed at the size of the VIP forward stateroom and head area. The master cabin was even better than the VIP. All in all a very liveable home on the water. Victoria I want to say the clothing you wear for the video shoots is absolutely fantastic, you look so good in stripes and the outfit you are wearing in this shoot I hope you wear again. Rico you do well also LOL Thanks guys for another outstanding presentation with lots of great information.

I’m so happy to have found you. I lived on a 1967 house boat in the 80’s. I lived on it for 3 years on San Diego Bay. I miss that life and am considering buying a boat again. I just want a boat to live on, not necessarily take it out. This boat looks really nice.

That's a really nice boat for the price and size. The layout is great and practical with good overall space for everything. I can say it's a fly-bridge entry boat. The shower for the guest cabin is especially nice. Loved the master suite with plenty of storage options. Cute outfit for the presentation too Victoria :) Thank you for the tour :)
This appears to be a very easy to operate and manage first yacht. Has much more features :). Best beginner yacht you have shown so far!

It was interesting to see your Cruisers tour and our 2004 tour. They are very much the same, with some tiny differences. We agree, the master stateroom has a massive amount of storage! It could be a great liveaboard - but we like the Meridian set up a little better up on the fly bridge and cockpit. Great video once again!

This is much better than the tours of the 5,000,000 mega yacht. It’s a lot closer to reality for most of us.

Very sharp yacht. I really like the layout.
So spacious and lots of restrooms. Three toilets, two showers and two bedrooms.

I thought this was a nice boat for its age...
Looks fairly timeless, and in fine condition. Nice aft cabin, and overall the boat packs a lot of great features into the limited space.
There is even a water maker!
That dinette is very practical, but of course... the price of it is that there is no lower helm position.
The helm area looks cool with the dark colours.
I would worry about that little switch panel with lots of tiny buttons to the side of the helm chair...;
Outdoor electric parts will break down and need servicing from time to time, and that one looks like a potential problem area.

Been a subscriber/viewing fan for sometime and enjoy your work in tours, editing and adventures. You have truly peaked my interest on this vessel. I appreciate you guys annexing and exposing 'Live Aboard' options.
I rank this boat as a five in my choices per your sharing and rank it top five with regards to my potential to take the plunge and commit to live aboard.
That it (currently) just me living in the Bay Area of California I am weighing my options on Condos, Modular Home, standard Apartment, Housemates and (as Rico would say)...etcetera. Am I remaining in Cali...Do not know but the opportunity and choice is there and mine. I am from the Great Lakes Region so, yeah...this region is a bit of a culture shock with emphasis on suitable residency and living as single or plus one, or family.
I will check out your patron page for other live aboard and ideas but I do like this boat with regards to turn key and investment as well.
I am not a boat man and this is primarily of interest in regards to living and surviving in this poor and rich economic region of no middle class. I am very handy so not much of a concern with maintenance, repairs or up keep.
Where my apprehension comes in with owning a boat as a live aboard is with becoming a couple and also potential/choice to move back top the Great Lakes Region.
Pros are::
I'd have a great boat for the Lakes and the loop, vacations ang get away, gatherings and hosting.
Cons are::
Relocating it should I return back to the Mid-West Great Lakes Region, or chose to expand my life and style with a family...I would still have a boat but will it become a burden in this high economy of housing for nesting a family.
Just some personal thoughts that I am sharing to perhaps assist your other viewers in decision making.
Nonetheless, I like this boat (in my top five of your airings) and the idea of live aboard potentials.
Rico, that I am not all to familiar with boats or owning...I would like to request a video of you on some of the more detailed technical aspects with regards to being an Owner Operator/Captain for us laymen. I am a Journeymen Diesel Mechanic and thoroughly familiar with Cat, JD, MTD, Cummins, Volvo...but I am not a Marine Diesel guy so would not mind info, tips and advice.

The first thing that hit my eye in this video was..."Victoria, That's a cute outfit you have on!" I really like the layout of the boat. it appears to be open and airy. I like an all electric galley. I don't like messing with propane. I bake bread and find the electric ovens are better. I like the back splash storage area. at least the stereo isn't an 8-track!! :o) I absolutely love the VIP separated shower. great use of space and privacy!! I have to tell you, I am totally impressed with this yacht. someone is going to really enjoy this boat!! BTW: after watching this video I subscribed.
We own a cruisers yachts 2001 3470 express. Fun to see that this one has a lot of the same items and details like we have on ours.

The 455 was an amazing yacht! My family loved our for 10 yrs. Just sold it last year and got a Bravada houseboat. Bigger family bigger boat!

Camper & Nicholson ketch , German Frers racing sloop and Chris Craft sport fisherman , all classics i restored to damn near Palm Beach !! also Lotus Europa , Alfa Spider , e type JAG , Lancia Monte Carlo etc etc ( daily drivers ) my current toys ( and bachelor pad ) is a 40 ft. Motor Coach , F Type Jag , 1976 C3 Stingray and a car trailer at beach front RV Resort !! SUPER FUN !! cant stop livin the Surfer Life !!

I lived on a Regal 265 for 2 summers and a winter, this would have been HEAVEN :-)
10:33 one thing to look for and install if it doesn't have it: a really beefy (strong) latch to keep the companionway sliding door in place. Mine had a flimsy little flip that wouldn't hold back an angry humming bird. Too many times it bent in rough seas and the 100 lbs door would slide.
