He never broke through at Chelsea, and if he was so good why didn't dortmand take up the option to buy him? And according to his stats his two main weaknesses are his first touch and his heading ability which to me is worrying. This is a big season for uni because the team he has is deans smiths team so by moving players out and bringing his players in will make him or break him and looking at his deals so farits very hit and miss and he is selling our upcoming kids for his short term gain.
Dortmund were actively trying to sign him on a permanent basis - Terzic left his position after the final and Sahin took over recently, so you'd imagine there's been some issues with that overlap when it comes to signing players etc. Can't begrudge him for not making it at Chelsea, though. They produce dozens of players each season that never play for the first team but have gone on to have fantastic careers! Maatsen is top drawer, trust us. UTV 💜
@@HeartOfTheHolte to me it's a lot of money for potential and as we know we have two players from the German league already and the fact is neither of them have set the world alight and never seem to finish a game.
I was under the impression Tims loan at QPR was far from disastrous, at least initially when the reviews were indicating he was a good shout to be a first team regular for us on his return
I think he struggled to begin with and finished strong if my memory serves me right. There was that one game that went 'viral' where he didn't manage a single accurate pass... Obviously not indicative of his ability or potential, though. UTV 💜

Dobbin looks like a real player I’m excited to see him for Villa.
And I like that the dobbin deal allows Everton to keep branthwaite or sell him for full price. Don’t want to do Man U or anyone else looking at him any favours

I don’t understand the talking down of Durans value. He’s just had an insane season in terms of goals per 90 as a young player in the prem, miles ahead of Ollie, at a time when there are very few strikers around. And you want to sell him for what we bought him for as an unproven player? Insane
We're more than happy with Chelsea's valuation of him, we're just saying we wouldn't necessarily pay that if WE were Chelsea. Of course the deal is too good to turn down! UTV 💜
Tbh before we signed Duran he was being talked about as a huge up and coming talent, considering he was already a full Colombian international, there was also a lot of clubs weighing up moves for him. It's just unlucky that atm there is a way better Premier league proven player out performing him! Instead of using the opportunity to learn from more experienced players and improve his game he's spitting his dummy out because he isn't in the first 11!
