I learned to bake from my mother. It's the most important thing to me, because she developed celiac and now I can't bake with her, but I can bake by myself and have my own small online business at 15. Thank you momma, for setting my life in place.

I find it fascinating how a lot of ppl who do stuff like this that they enjoy, most of them are self taught. For example, I really enjoy animating, so much that I make little animations on RUclips in my spare time, and yet it’s all self taught. I remember one animation class I took, and all I remember from it is to move the subject of the animation across the screen. The rest is all me. And I think that’s really poggers
It's not difficult at all. Especially the way she's made it here. It's quite literally just a store-bought sheet of puff pastry rolled with some nutella. Easy peasy!

You can use pre made elements and it’s still baking. That can even be an opportunity to improve upon a recipe you’ve made or have seen online to better suit what you want.
Your recipes are so simple and easy to follow, lots of chocolate which I'm a huge fan of but love all your recipes esp your chrispy chicken, yum! And believe me, your great auntie is probably with you when you're baking💕
I also love baking and cooking! My friends always make fun of me for it. But one time, I actually made homemade lava cake and I asked the school if I could bring it to school they allowed it and I gave some of it to my friends. They never made fun of me ever again. 😂

Maybe lower the temperature, it probably cooked too fast. Everyone's kitchen appliance cooks differently. I always lower my oven temperature than what the recipe says cause my oven cooks faster and the outside was burnt while the inside was undercooked lol

Not to sound too harsh but with the range of things available to Americans to buy, a LOT of them don't even cook or bake properly, just buying things and throwing them together. Yesterday I saw a dessert video where the woman just took stuff out of packages and into a pan.. Topped it off with cinnamon rolls straight out of a package as well lol

this is actually a jewish pastry called babka. it’s usually filled with cinnamon, chocolate, or jam. usually it’s in loaf form but i’ve never tried this design! so cute!
@@Aura_Lucario You may be thinking of challah which used 3 strands of rolled out dough and braids them. Babka traditional uses the left over dough of challah. You roll it out into a rectangle/ square like shown and spread a filling (like chocolate or cinnamon).

I make the dough, roll it into a rectangle, fill it with chocolate spread (most people use Nutella when they want chocolate for convenience), then cut in half and braid. We normally just put it in the baking tin and rise it, but she made it into a wreath which is really cute.❤

I make Farfalle pasta from scratch (bowtie pasta with no machine), lady fingers from scratch (the cake bits in Tiramisu or for Charlotte cakes), Puff pastry from scratch, crusty bread from scratch etc. not trying to sound high and mighty but it IS a WHOLE other level of baking compared to ready made puff pastry dough and chocolate spread....
Man, that brought back some really good memories of making Babka with my siblings. I know that this is puff pastry and not Challah dough and that it doesn't bake the same, but the similarities of how this is prepared to it brings so much nostalgia of getting covered in cinnamon sauce and getting annoyed by how easily it falls apart.

u might need a heavy bottomed pan, it's thicker at the bottom and better suited to this kind of thing (less chance of burning)
