MESBG Battle Report - Easterlings vs Azogs Legion

- Today Cal takes on Jeff in fog of war. Cal is running his first true love, Easterlings led by the dragon emperor while Jeff is taking his tried and tested Azogs legion.
Will Cal continue his win streak against Jeff on channel (pantsings more than wins) or will Jeff finally pull a big W out.
Bloody amazing batrep lads.
Was really painful watching khamul just wiff in the early game.

When the Ogre didn't Rend I went, "oof"... That wraith was toast. lol Great BR, y'all. Also, I've been successful vs. Easterlings by feinting their front line, splitting mine in twain and hitting both flanks, especially if you have something like that troll and/or Bolg to hit the middle.
Great batrep boys. All you Lads on w.a.r.g. seem like awesome blokes. Me and my brother will have to make a trip up to brissy next year for a few games with u boys 👍

We attend Brissy tournaments a fair bit mate so hopefully see you down there, failing that feel free to make the trek well north to a Gladstone tournament, you'll definitely see the full crew at one of them!

16:00 I'd of love to have seen a hurl from the troll here. Jeff had priority so could of completed the combats near the troll first then let the troll throw unrestricted through the Easterlings towards the Emperor. He's S7 v S3 so that poor soldier is going to fly a minimum of 5 inches through that formation and almost certainly die and probably take a couple of his comrades out with him.
Even if you don't kill any those that survive are all prone which granted is only really an issue for the front rank but if Cal had lost priority next turn it forces him to heroic move or face his front rank being trapped.
Great game though guys, awesome batrep.
Bit rusty unfortunately mate haha, as I was editing I saw a few opportunities I missed! We’ll get them next time!

Nice report guys! Just quick note by drumming you can’t charge so khamul could not charge at the beginning
Hey mate, Khamul actually used compel to move the orc into him so he loses the charge bonus but is in combat!

But Khamul got done a bit dirty at the start there. Can't shield if you're transfixed (as the orc was compelled) and Khamul only has two dice cause he didn't charge. So mistakes all around haha.
You also lose your charge bonus when you are transfixed. So bolg would only have 3 attacks

Great stuff guys, keep the great content coming! Tough game I’m the end. I recently had to try fight through a F6 elf pike block, it’s a tough tough ask with orcs
Fight is always a strong bone of contention, i find if i always play low fight armies i just accept that I'm losing most fights and get super happy when i win a few!

Nice battle report, when Bolg dismount he can't attach Khamul? I dont understand that movement.
Hey mate he was putting himself between khamul and the captain as he was my hero to protect and likely cals target.

I think the best bet with him is to use him abit like a scalpel. Pick and choose the fights he goes into as callan did here.
