Hiya guys. I just wanted to say you do an incredible job at mixing up the battle plans and armies played. You have now shown each army? You might be the only channel that can say that for 4th. We really notice it as viewers, it gives a great variety and its so entertaining as the battles go in very different directions. Cheers
Thank you for such a kind and supportive comment. Learning all the factions for 4th edition has been a huge undertaking all at once we hope to do each army justice and give it a fair showing as we all learn the new edition together
With IDK you want to PowerThrough every turn, especially with Morrsarr. You could have done it turn 1 with your last CP to do some mortals to the remaining Acolytes and put back the Morrsarr in a safer place. Also, sharks are bad. Usually they do nothing eels cannot also do. Happy to see IDK on the channel though, I hope we'll see more soon :)
23:30 I'm wondering which special abilities that can add 1 destiny dice. If it refer to nexus of faith, I believe u 'must' replace a dice.. not just add them

Sharks have the ability to reduce charge dice by one on units that take damage from shooting on a 3+. Eidolon also gives a +1 to wound aura - not sure if you applied this to the nearby units
May i ask why skyfire get -2 move on turn one? I thought endless spell gives bonus to tzentch units and debuff to enemy units and ı belive if ü guys have more than 4 destiny dice. U can try 4+ equal to the dice if its greater
I'm still debating starting Idoneth for the great models and this video more or less confirmed my biggest worry. Your movement will make melee armies go insane, but against the few armies that do have a lot of shooting you are going to be in for a rough match.
Hi fellow Wargamers. Thought you might like to know the Jaws of Gallet has a unique mechanic in that the underdog may remove an objective at the end of their turn, after scoring victory points. This is a significant change from the previous missions like this which removed objectives at the start of the battle round. I noticed you played that mechanic wrong, and I see this mission misplayed often when it comes up in tournaments I have attended.

@@jackwilliams1484 I dont like them, not enoug range, and die to fast, playing a unit of 6 skyfire and a unit of 3 skyfires give me all the damage and mobility i need
my first playthrough was with the leviadon and i liked him. but i had just gotten these eels painted up and wanted to give them a try. I think the trick is more eels lol

18:38 Kairos has a 5+ save...you AoD with the skyfires... 5-2 goes to a 7+ to save. You could not have used a 6 to auto pass. Assuming you just fogot he's a 5+ now not 4+ save

Did you use the burn ability in the soulscryer in turn 5? What a great battle report! Thank you guys for the content. Awesome like always

Are you guys skipping the pink horror explosion rolls/wounds? I've found they end up really dumping wounds back into me whenever I kill them in melee.

you hit it on the head there. it feels like a glass hammer but the movement means you are going to be scoring well most of the way through the game

Agree on skyfires, they are a trap. Underperforms every game for me, especially after the season rule changes.
you need a unit of 6 and shoot out of turn as well, they perform very well

Skyfires are great as 6. I think a leviadon and/or a King/Volturnos look great for IDK

Both armies are beautifully painted. I’m very tempted by tzeentch
They are a great a great army to paint lots of bright color options to choose from

And even if he AoD on Kairos it changes nothing. Destiny dice roll can not be modified by friendly abilities (like a +1 save roll, +1 cast etc).
