I think this is the nicest pilot chrono you can buy. What a bold piece. I recently bought the Pilot Performance Chronograph in ceratanium. I’m seriously considering adding a Lake Tahoe Top gun now.. I’ve gone down the IWC ceramic rabbit hole lol
Great stuff Harrison! Love IWC and the novelties are strong again. However, for me the BP 43mm and the 41mm chrono are definitely my faves - wonderful watches 👍. Love the Storm Trooper comment! 😂👌
Great review. I love the Top Gun line in the IWC family. If you need a chronograph in your collection may I suggest the Omega Speedmaster Professional. Yes, the "moonwatch" is at its heart a pilot watch. It has the benefit of being perfectly sized at 42mm. It will never of out style.
I’m not someone who likes to leave negative reviews because a tremendous amount of effort has gone in by a team, however big brands can afford to take the occasional kick in the pants. That’s real crap.
Is the material on the upper side of the strap Nato-like material with the rubber band underneath or the nato like texture is 3d printed and the whole strap(top and bottom) is rubber?
@@yidong5567 Yes but it can be misleading as if a watch is said to be chronometer, you would expect a chronometer certificate. Its an important detail to clarify.
Very much like the IWC pilot line... I like that they made this all white version, love that it's an option available, but it's just not my style. The blue 41mm that you mentioned though... ooh la la that is the one to have! If you find yourself wearing that and you're in New York look me up and I'll take you and your pilot's watch for an airplane flight ;-) Ya know, for the sake of research haha
Can you tell me which sewing machine omega 8800 with 8900 machine is better and which machine is produced first? How many years to maintain this machine, clean the oil once a year? thank you

I think it's well thought out and executed though. The Big Pilot 43 in blue from last year is still my favorite IWC release in the last couple years.

The IWC is a chronograph not a chronometer as you indicated. Big difference.

I bought that seamaster in ceramic in all black. Love it! The white dial is very very nice though 🤩
It's a killer (only if it came in a 39 - 41m dail size), a 45m size is simply not wearable.

Chronometer = describes how accurate a watch is at keeping time, Chronograph = stopwatch function
