Love the Tahoe since I am from South Lake Tahoe and lucky to have received this watch 3-months ago, I do love the Top Guns. The Green is also cool, but yes, the white just pops.

Deployant clasp should be compulsory on a ceramic watch. They are strong, but it is possible to shatter if you drop them over a tiled floor.
This is a great video, I am contemplating the Woodland Green for the collection.
I'd go for the white I just love the contrast and it's simply good. And yes that is definitely a nato strap watch
I like them both but I agree if I got to choose I’d go for the white. Looks pretty different from a lot of IWCs other offerings
I have in my collection an IWC pilot chrono, ok is thick but who cares! IWC on wrist are outstanding because they are big and thick, with such a clear an well executed dial. it gets compliments from lots of people when i wear it.

My problem with some black watches is that when you hit something and scratch it little deeper there are white/light marks which are super visible and kinda annoying. Something that wouldn't be such a problem on steel. I am wondering if I scratch/chip a bit off on the white version, is there gonna be white layer under the coated surface or are there gonna be some marks with different color? Thank you!

Love me some Top Gun. Haven't seen the new one, tough to get out with a 3 year old. But the original is my favorite movie of all time. Also that white one is the best by far. That thing is amazing.
i LOOOOOVE the Woodland Green. any idea about lug to lug distance ???.
the only problem with IWC is the lug length. they tend to extend beyond the wrist. unlike Omega . they ingenious design (like the 44.25mm Speedmaster) wears so well on smaller wrist due to their shorter lugs.

The woodland has ceratanium pushers case back and pin buckle. It’s more expensive so they don’t give a deployant clasp. They didn’t want to include an all ceratanijm one.

I was hoping for an all black chrono (with black crown and buttons) similar to the 2019 double chrono but without the thickness... but as much as I don't like white watches, with that black face I'm really tempted. Just maybe not on the white strap though

As an owner of Zenith defy white ceramic i do love the white variant, the only thing i dislike is the steel pushers. If those were ceramic it would be a awesome-

The white is what I call crisp and cleaner looking.
These just go to show the default doesn't have to be Rolex. I'd be tempted by these and some of the stuff Bremont is doing - and I'd be able to actually buy them!

What's the lug to lug dimension?
I Love this very much! my only concern is that it will be to big for me...I have a black bay 925 now and 32 is the max i ever had.
Is IWC consciously making such thick watches that most people can’t comfortably wear? I love the way they look and every time I get tempted to buy an IWC Chronograph and pop into a store to try on options I leave feeling “f*** me these are thicccc” and my wrist is not slender (18.5 cm circumference).
Though I wouldn’t wear the white, I do think it’s a showstopper! The green feels underwhelming. And good call on the Rolex GMT bezel color btw! Haha
They are beautiful. The only reason I would want an 8 Inch wrist is to wear this
Love IWC and both these watches. I would buy the dark green because I’m not that extrovert but the white one is gorgeous and I wish I could pull the white one off. Ps still laughing that some people like thick! 😂

Not really my thing, a bit massive , I guess the ceramic/nylon combination will keep the weight down but of the two I'd go for the dark one. Is there any reason why you couldnt take the strap off and reverse it so the excess sits on the outside of your wrist? It nice to see a watch that you can buy if you do like it though.
Exactly my point. But, yes of course you can just reverse is- only point, the clasp and IWC logo on that show into a "false" direction. I have long reversed my strap on my IWC Pilot Spitfire

I actually prefer the green over the white. I’m not a fan of white case and strap. Prefer a white dial though
It didn’t take my breath away and I don’t believe I’ll be going into the danger zone with it.
The dimensions are apparently exactly equal to Tom Cruise in a Vitruvian Man pose, hence the Top Gun reference.
I wonder how tough the ceramic is. I’d guess about as tough as the zirconium stuff used in dental work, and that’s pretty tough.

The white does look fantastic, pity there isn't a bracelet option in the same material.
At the risk of being a bit churlish, I was surprised that a watch of that size only has a 46hr power reserve.
I would have easily gone for a bracelet version, along with a 48 hr power reserve at minimum. Two of many reasons why I still don't own an IWC watch

Strange that they didn't go for matte white or even brushed steel for the pushers and crown, the shiny-ness looks odd to me with the rest of the watch.
The “Lake Tahoe” name does not work, Tahoe (Lake of the Sky “ is known for its deep blue water. Still a very cool watch! Look forward to trying one on.
