5 Reasons Why You Need The Blackmagic Cinema Camera 6k

These tips and features of the Blackmagic Cinema Camera 6K, the new full-frame camera from Blackmagic design, are some of my most used features and are often overlooked in other reviews of this camera.
Some of the features even extend to the BMPCC 6K Pro.

Picked up the 6k ff last week. The image quality is stunning. Picked up a Dji ronin rs3 pro with Dji lidar autofocus. Typical I get a new job come in, film a promo video for helicopter 🚁 company so looking at part ex for a Nikon Z8. Need really good autofocus, the lidar maxes out at 14meters

I'm focusing with the PDmovie and the Lidar is limited to around 5 meters

I’m about to do a shoot with this on my RS3 Pro and am excited to try out a few lens combinations, particularly the Sirui 35 anamorphic.

Very good video. I own a FF and some anamorphic glasses and I can guarantee you that it cannot recognize the squeeze factor of the lens. In open gate it offers only the 1.6x desqueeze factor regardless I put an 85mm 1.8x great joy on it. But in S35 4:3 only the 1.8x option is available.

Thank you for this! It is odd that BM chose 1.6 as the open gate de-squeeze. It looks like to get the 1.8 in camera, you'd have to select Super35, which defeats the purpose of using a FF camera. I hope they address this in a future update, if this is possible, and thank you again for bringing this to the table.
