Before you even started talking, I thought, "I love the color of those cabinets!".
You and your sister are part of the new counterculture. True authentic neo-hipsters. Your life is wonderful.
🙏
I love your red kitchen! It comes across as very warm and homey.
I have two Texasware confetti bowls, my grandpa gave them to my mom when she was married 60 years ago.
It's heartwarming to see a young person who appreciates and respects things from times past. You're a gem!
This was so nice of you to share your kitchen with us. So many memories of family and friends. I am 75 so I identified with many of the treasures you have. I can tell you will spend a lot of time in there so it is nice to have the things you love around you.
Red cabinets have such a retro charming 50s cottage or patriotic feel. You could match it with lots of red appliances or kitchen tools ❤ with the red flowers! Or a 🍒 cherrys or apples 🍎 motif would be cute! Red flower bowl Compliments it perfectly.!
I think the red poppies design looks well with the red cabinets(:
Vintage kitchen and glassware brings me joy. The design and colors and a journey through time, somehow makes a home cozier.
Well put 💖
I love your red cabinets and your right about vintage kitchen ware, it will last forever, much better quality.
I loved your kitchen cupboards as soon as I saw them. And the painted stripe probably looks better than without that’s why it was painted. I would not change a thing xo
I have the same Tupperware measuring cups. I love the 3/4 and 2/3 cups as well. The brown glass casserole dish on your top cabinets, when I was growing up, my mom had a bowl of that same design she made salads in back in the 70’s early 80’s. 😊
Patty here! Kitchen section is my first stop at thrift stores too. My hubby had housewares category in his 41 year grocery career so I had the latest stuff all the time. But my heart was always vintage! By God’s directing my life and my love for the elderly I’ve helped 4 or 5 widows over the last few years declutter, organize, downsize and even move. I’ve received some really special items including 4 handmade quilts to name just a few things. I wasn’t blessed to have great grandmothers and grandmothers in my life so God using my love for these ladies to bless me so much has been special. I’m 63 and as you said I could continue to collect retro kitchen items but try to be very sparing with purchases. I bake almost daily but I give lots away when I go visiting. It nurtures my soul… I love how young you are and still love the old ways 🥰🙏🏻
Oh Korie- I LOVE those red cabinets.
I like the red cabinets, as long as they work for you well. I like the red. It reminds me of a country style, red barn, look. You won't be there forever.
Thank you for sharing your favorite kitchen items. I love the poppy designs, too. When you cook, it is wonderful to remember stories of the items you use. My favorite bowl is one I bought for 50 cents at a yard sale when I was in college. Your kitchen is so cozy and warm just like you and your sweet family.
Thank you 😊
I’m only a handful of min in. But I can tell we value a lot of the same things lol. It’s so cool to see others value the quality of even older utensils. I try to by “older” items whenever possible.
I'll take a favorite things video from you gals any time! Especially vintage!! I really loved this video, watching it again...
Thanks friend!
I'm with you on the vintage . When I bought my house , I gutted the kitchen , put it back together with mostly all vintage..I especially love 1940s era stuff.alot of my stuff came from family and friends.
I watch your Mom's channel a lot - so cool to see you use Field Company skillets, I invested in them for all my cast iron. I love them. Your vintage items are also so special, for different reasons!!
They make pretty good pans, thanks for watching!
I absolutely love your style Cory!❤. What a beautiful kitchen you have! I actually really like the red cabinets!
I love your kitchen, Corie! I had the same Red Poppy pieces when I was younger and so wish that I had kept them ~ it makes me smile to see them again. I also have Texasware bowls, my mom and grandmas all used them. Your love of things from the past is so refreshing and I thank you for sharing with us.
Love love love your kitchen. The vintage stuff is wonderful.
You've made that house a home. Good job!
Paint the cabinets!! That's what I did.
Corie. I love your cabinets. If I'm not mistaken the color red means welcome. Your glassware and dishes are beautiful. Seems like food that is prepared in cast iron always tastes so good. Love your channel.
Oh thank you!
Love your kitchen so homey thank you for showing all your favorite things. Stay safe and God bless you
I love your red cabinets! I recently found that Bon Ami will clean your ceramic cooktop and make the burners look like new. It also protects the pan bottoms by keeping stuff off.
I love the vintage things too. It is made much.
right about 7 minutes in . . . I recognized a bit of your momma's influence being shared with you, the next generation, mother to daughter . .Corie, Tipper - you done good!
Love it all. It’s just so fun to collect things that bring you joy ! I geek out over pottery mixing bowls and wooden bowl and Corning ware Not to mention cast iron too. But now I’m on a mission for golden girls tumblers too. 😂😂😂😂
I love Corning ware!
Here is a link to some on Etsy I found 😁

Love your kitchen! I also love vintage kitchen items. Especially vintage cookbooks!
I think that your parents did a wonderful job of raising your girls.
Corie please, please, please do a part 2 of this video! I enjoyed seeing familiar items I remember from my childhood and seeing one or two items I still have and use! Y’all are girls after my own heart!
Thank you 😊
Cute kitchen for a cute couple. You guys are doing a great job almost a year married and pulling it all together. Best wishes love n blessings
Thank you!
Enjoyed seeing your posts. And you are right about the older things lasting longer and being better.
I totally Love the color of your cabinets!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I to, love dishes! It’s very comforting to have family pieces! 🥰
I love your red cabinets. Vintage kitchen items are my favorite also. As a former Tupperware consultant, I love your measuring cups! Your Fire King bowls and the orange juice jug on top of your cabinets remind me my mom's.
Fancy red cabinets, individual bananas, and a singing dog - that's living high on the hog for sure,
Nick is a good shopper for vintage finds
I’m so curious about other people’s kitchens. I wish everyone did videos like this then I could get a sneaky peak at everyone’s kitchens and special things. I love it!😂❤
You can never have enough of the things you love..and these vintage items are sweet treasures!
I love vintage kitchen wares, too! So unique and different from what’s available today and much better quality. My husband actually proposed to me in the kitchen section of an antique/thrift store where we used to go looking for treasures all the time. He placed my ring in a jadeite dish when I wasn’t looking then pointed to it and said, “hey, what’s that?” On the little white price tag were the words “will you marry me?” Thankfully I still have the dish, the ring, and him. Needless to say vintage kitchen ware has a special place in my heart!
I have a cast irom skillet I that belonged to my mom. I have no idea how old it is it was always in the house when I was growing up and I’m 68 years old. I’m thinking it could be 84 years old when she got first got the first married the first time. Many pans of cornbread was cooked in it for sure and fried chicken. I don’t know the size of it now your going to go make me look…lol
Just thought of this a punch bowl set also thats from the 60’s that belonged to her also. Infact the price is still on the box it was 2.98 cents. In that bowl I have 2 serving clear glass crystal serving dishes that belonged to my grandmother. I found the box and I opened it just to look at the punch bowl and found the two dishes I forgot that was in there. I picked them up to look at them and turn them over and there it was and masking tape her last name. Because those were her fancy take to potluck church dishes she never use them unless she was taking something to a potluck at the church. I don’t use them because I’m afraid of breaking them..lol I have no idea how old they are she was born in 1895 my mom 1917.
I love your kitchen! It just feels comfortable like you can sit down and talk for hours! My mom had the very same canister set I used to love those.
Thanks for watching 😁
I have that potato masher..early 60s. It was my Mama's. Got some of her stuff from the 40s and 50s. Your items are great! Well made things last forever.💕🙏👍
Cool!
I just love this. I'm the same way. I love old kitchen,,,, Anything!!!!!!
I see memories of my life. The bowl was like my grandma had. She had a whole set of dishes with that poppy design. ❤️
I loved all of your things! My husband and I got married in 1982 and I had that same set of dishes. Made me miss them. I replaced them years ago. Love y’all’s show!
Awe 😊
I can't tell you how much I love this video! I have so many antique kitchen items, mostly from my grandparents on both sides, and from a beloved great aunt. It's funny to see that some of the things I got for my wedding shower in 1978 are now considered antique! I still use my hand mixer I got in 1978. I do 'rescue' the occasional antique bowl or kitchen item from Goodwill. You are a very interesting young lady!
She needs some Corningware. Haha
Thank you for sharing your personal stuff with us I love watching your family and appreciate all of you ❤️
Thanks for watching 😁
The red poppy design matches the cabinets! Maybe that's why the cabinets are growing on you.
It was interesting to see your kitchen utensils. The ones from your great grandmas are special. Thanks and God bless
God bless all here.
This is the quintessential country kitchen.
Thank you 😁
Changing out the knobs can always change up the look a bit. That's what I did years ago in a previous house and it did added a different feel to my kitchen.
Good idea!
Older kitchen tools and pots and pans are quality and made in the USA! I agree totally with you!!
I LOVE your red cabinets 😊
Beautiful kitchen items! I also love dishes, and anything kitchen.
The spatula and everyday dinner plates are totally my childhood! I love Fire King glass!
Corie, ❤
All the poppy design pieces go nicely with the red cabinets. I was with you on not really liking the color when you and Austin made your home together. But I do think it looks very country farmhouse looking. I love it!
God Bless you and yours 💕
Nice assortment of your favorite kitchen things, Corie! The fruit bowl & the salt & pepper shakers are so pretty. Cool cabinets & countertops! The Fire King mixing bowls, made by Anchor Hocking, might be genuine milk glass. You can tell if you hold them up to the liight they have "ring of fire" (you can maybe google it). Thanks for this little tour of your kitchen 😊
Wow, I haven’t hear of that, I will Google that. Thanks for watching 😁
I love the red cabinets ❤️
The cabinets have really grown on me too!
I love vintage kitchen stuff. I used to collect old pyrex bowls and corelle dishes, but I accumulated too many of them so I had to stop that! But they certainly don't make things like they used to: sturdy AND pretty. And I love the 70s and 80s colors and designs (for the most part). I love the Golden Girls, too. I searched forever to try and find their canister set, and I finally was able to find the same set online, and it is one of my favorite kitchen items.
So cool you have their canister set!
@@thepressleygirls I would post a picture of them here if I could! I'm so proud of them LoL! It's the little things in life.
Omg!!!!!! I love those red cabinets!!! They pop out. Love them!!!!
I don't really care about kitchen stuff, I watched this video to see your beautiful face and to listen to your great soothing voice that lulls me to sleep, having said that ,I'm puzzled as to why you don't like your red cupboards, they remind me of our 70's kitchen and most of your taste seems to be traditional!
Oh yeah.... I love those red cabinets. Lol
We have a lot of old kitchenware that we’ve collected over the last 46 years. Now, we have to start down sizing and my kids are not interested in old kitchenware!😊🇨🇦
Cast Iron is wonderful, beautiful cookware. You are right they last forever and are healthy for you.
That was great! If there are more kitchen items that you wanted to show, you could always do a part two 😀
I really like vintage things, and getting to see useful things in general!
God bless you and your family!
Thanks for watching friend 😁
Thank you. CORIE
Now that was fun! You're truly an old soul! I'm 60 and I love watching you and your family !
I love vintage kitchen items as well.
You're an old soul. I am too. I love old things. I wanted to move to western NC but housing is so expensive now. I hate cities and love simple God fearing country living. God willing maybe I can do that one day. Love your channel. God Bless.
Love your kitchen. I love vintage things. Thank you for sharing this
Thanks for watching!
Love vintage kitchen stuff too. Love your videos. Have a beautiful day.
Thank you!
Wonderful video, very heartwarming with all the things from your family ❤
Hey Corie, yep your orange measuring spoons are a product of the '70's! I know this for sure because I married for the first time in 1971 and was given those very same spoons on a matching plastic ring as a shower gift. I've still got the smallest spoon today (1/8th tsp) which is in use in a salt canister.
I don’t see any wrong with the cabinets. They look great.
I like the red cabinets and you have a lovely kitchen and home.
Adorable kitchen...so eclectic and original
I so agree, love many of your pieces!
I love vintage kitchen anything. My momma gave me so much. She also gave each granddaughter sets of dishes. Momma and Daddy's house was a showcase of treasues just like they were to all of us. Thank you for sharing💕🙏
I love the red cabinets!! It looks so country!!
😂 Olive wanted the attention! I love your kitchen and all your wonderful treasures❤️. Olive is a treasure, I’m so obsessed with her because she is so much like our sweet dog Achilles who passed 4 years ago. He lived to be 15, never enough time😢
You could put toothpicks in your windowsill chicken.
I love vintage platters. I don't know why but I have way more than one person needs, Honestly I love all dishes, bowls, teapots. Your kitchen is charming!
Love your kitchen and everything in it. There’s at least 50+ years difference in our ages but so close in taste. You and your sister are treasures.
Corie-
I am also a sucker for vintage kitchen ware. So much so that we recently moved and I filled half a storage bin with dishes. I really didn’t realize I had so many. But like you I see it and like it so I get it even though I don’t need it. My husband is precious. He goes along with my wants (most of the time).
Glad it’s not just me!
I love old utensils as well!! I look for them in thrift stores. Your cabinets are pretty the red is nice . I’m had a red stove and fridge when I first got married.
Oh I bet that was pretty!! Don’t you wish you still had them?
I love this video and I love this kinda stuff, cooking for our family with love and serving it in something that belonged to grandma makes it even more special.
love the frog this is more interesting than hollywood
Your red cabinets are “vintage “. They could be made to look like barn doors which I love. Thanks for showing us your kitchen and all your vintage stuff!!!
I like your cabinets, most people have natural wood or painted white. Your cabinets are unique and delightful 😊.
I love Poppies. They remind me of Veterans Day. When I was growing up the veterans in our small town would sell poppy pins to raise money for veterans. I also love anything with chickens. I spent a lot of my childhood at my gramma's farm. Feeding the chickens was always fun.
I love your red kitchen! It’s so cheerful. Makes you just want a cup of tea and cook up a storm!
Same when im thrifting retro kitchen items especially the 70 and eighty when i was growing up that my mom and gramma had
Oh my Lord!! Your counter tops are exactly like mine!!! LOL!😂
Awe cool!
I've always been crazy for vintage kitchen stuff too, the quality is simply the best. It's so much fun to get to see ya'll favorite kitchen items, loved when your mom shared hers.
Thanks for watching 😊
I really like the cabinets! Plus love the cast iron!
Hi Cori, I know you said from the time you moved into your new home that you did not like the red cabinets. I'm happy you are getting use to them. Cori, I love the color of your cabinets. They look so good in your kitchen and give your home a wonderful feel. They are beautiful to me!
