The Bad Juju was my most favorite gun in Destiny. Learning about its lore and just remembering all of the good times... it makes me sad that I can't play Destiny anymore. Journal. great vid. I've also noticed the juju has a scout frame even though it's a pulse. but, have you also noticed the malice has a pulse frame underneath it's cloth? You can tell because it's reload animation is the pulse reload and the stock resembles the stranger's rifle or the no-time. both weapons are inverted, mirror opposites of each other. one a pulse, one a scout, but with each other's frames. like they're siblings or something.
I actuallt have been wondering, why can gaurdians only use one exotic weapon and armor (the only way you can use 2 exotics is when u have a class exotic mark from factions) pieces, any clue???

All because some cunts who where jealous because they didn't have it, and didn't understand the hardship that it took to get it, whined to Bungie that it was op and needed to be nerfed. I imagined it must've been something like that: casuals or sweats that couldn't or wouldn't bother do Hard VoG for a chance to get the thing they hated (or envied) so much in pvp. It doesn't help that some outspoken community members voiced that it was "broken" and that possibly clinched the deal. That's one of the many problems with Destiny and its loot (particularly exotics): sometimes stuff is needlessly nerfed just to please a few. It didn't take me forever to get the Vex and that only happened in Y2 and with all the ll advantages that provided. But still, it sucks that such a hard won prized is nearly useless now, just an odd looking curio picking up virtual dust in my vault...unless Bungie throws out a new version before D2?
I watched Byf's video on the Bad Juju and he talked about a story about three queens who each lived in their own towers. I'm not 100% sure if it's part of the lore behind Bad Juju, but if it is, it may explain the triangle symbol on the bad juju and in other places. Although the Bad Juju is a weapon of sorrow it's possible that it's connected to the void which would make the story of the three queens something relative to the void. That would probably explain why the triangle symbol is on Ikora, being that warlocks want to find out about the void and all.

Eric may have had the journal in the Hellmouth, but she was trapped with it. We found parts of the journal in the vanilla release when the bounty was first introduced, and she escaped afterwards with the Dark Below expansion, potentially bringing the entire journal with her. This is just some speculation though
i would love to see some type of next level to exotics, since most of ours are just replicas of what once was. maybe in destiny 2 we can get random drops for blueprints/hints/schematics for exotic weapons we already have, except to achieve the full potential of the exotic. maybe xur can sell some type of item we'd need to achieve this potential, or have us go through a crazy long, hard quest line.

This gun fits Toland so well. Assuming Toland was a sub singer. The gun gives you super energy for every kill. The hive's favorite war strategy is lots of enemies, so using Bad Juju against the hive would give you your super pretty quickly. This would allow Toland to die multiple times, hence why he knows so much about the afterlife, then ressutect himself and go again.
Based on my previous comment about the triangle being on the thorn as well, i have come up with a theory. Here goes. Those triangles, one on thorn and 8 on bad juju (4 on each side) and one on ikora rey's outfit, i have the idea that they may be hive runes but inscribed by a non-hive entity. Ikora and Toland being warlocks. Warlocks are the space-mage class of destiny, and arguably the best source of information on both the light and the darkness outside of anybody that preceded guardians. Although with the help of ghosts and with the defeat of the hive, on the moon and the newly arrived dreadnaught along with oryx, guardians now have access to pretty much all information regarding the events that preceded their creation. Information from the worlds grave, tolands journal, and the books of sorrow. I believe that toland and possible Ikora have figured out how to use hive magic in the form of runes bound to items such as weapons. The invective shotgun has glowing runes on it already and it generates ammunition just like the bad juju. Maybe an intended effect. Ikora is a warlock, one connection to toland. Ikora commands the Hidden, an inteillgence group, a known associate is Eris Morn, who inherited Toland's journal, ikora kept eris's involvement a secret for so long, perhaps eris gave her tolands journal long before we even knew the existence of eris.
Just a little fan theory i like with Bad Juju is the idea that Toland infused his own ghost into the original weapon. Nowhere in the lore of Eris Morns fireteam or anywhere else does it mention toland having a ghost and the fact that your ghost looks "delicious" when you hold the frame is interesting. Going into more wild speculation it could even be the last straw as to why he was exiled.

Something I've noticed in Destiny which I'm a bit confused by, is the red shard particles. You see them when you destroy The Heart of The Black Garden and behind Crota/in front of The Oversoul in The Dark Below Raid. But you don't see them when fighting Oryx or Aksis in The Taken King Raid or the Rise of Iron Raid, could the red shard particles be there because we are in a different realm? That might explain why we see them in The Black Garden and Crota's domain but not when fighting Oryx and Aksis since those battles take place in our universe. And if so, what are they and what purpose do they hold?

Toland could not have been trying to create ToM. ToM is created from the Books of Sorrow, something Toland would not have had access to. However weapons like Thorn, did exists prior to Bad Juju, so its likely the use that as a blue print, as we know Thorn is created.
Well i believe xur got a crypic dragon and infused it with the darkness and then you (guardian) add the extra parts like the bones and change its color and add the triangles

Guys dont u think its funny that all of the weapons that dark guardians use are always made from other exotic weapons. The thorn was made from the first curse ,which was the rose the sibling handcannon of the last word. As well as this, the red death is made from the suros regime, u can say this as red death has the same type of perk were kills give the guardian health, this also explains why the red death has a auto rifle frame and just has the suros bits taken off

not sure if anyone said this but the triangle sign on the bad juju, and ikora is called the dragons eye. it means the place/decision of good and evil.

Guys dont u think its funny that all of the weapons that dark guardians use are always made from other exotic weapons. The thorn was made from the first curse ,which was the rose the sibling handcannon of the last word. As well as this, the red death is made from the suros regime, u can say this as red death has the same type of perk were kills give the guardian health, this also explains why the red death has a auto rifle frame and just has the suros bits taken off
