not gon lie . out of the legendary catalogue this man nas has , this one song right here film . speaks to me in ways that i cant even verbally explain . its amazing definitely a top 5 favorite track for me personally man amazing work i jus love how underground it sounds . the storytelling the rappping is perfect the beat is amazing
nas is unreal the best of all time, shout out to c sick for this beat.
Ice on gold from mossbergs to golf clubs
Ninth hole, the white rose, the life I chose
Bandanna over the eye, Dior sandals
Car doors rise with no touch of the handles
JAY-Z would of never given a young producer like this a chance to work with him.
Nas Forever.
"circle the table like babe ruth....louiville slugger....was that around back then? Ah well if it wasn't its good enough for rap *types in phone* they get it" lmao so nice to see Nas in the "studio process". Been blown away by this mans writing over the years its nice to see him going through the motions of his creations
Yo I'm feelin this...I mean the kid is only 18 and Nas is askin his input and really workin with him...I mean that's what you call a real dream come true...C-Sick you will always have a story to tell from this one, keep makin the joints man.
nas, one of the only rappers that inspire me to write poetry. i simply LOVE this song and it's multiple dimensions.
i know every word to this song
I've been trying to learn it too.
word up.....congrats on that one....huge steps granted by redbull......big ups.....respect.!!!
My respect for Nas just went up around 250 percent.
That is supper tight not to long ago I was watching c sick live and he talked about this so I just searched it up out of no where and that’s great it all worked out in his favor man he won that beat battle and got to work with nas that’s amazing and now look at him he’s one of the best producers in the world his got all stuff with herb bibby logic etc 🐐 💯🔛🔝🔜📈🚀
This is the greatest song Nas has ever made in my opinion. It has knocked Street Dreams II off the perch. If you talk knowledge, flow plus lyrics? Nas has never had a rival.
Damn lol, I noticed Nas lookin at his cell alot and realised what he was doing(reading his lyrics). This must be the next step, and holding the pad is "old school" lol(just something I noticed). But Nas contemplating on that Babe Ruth line was just too funny for some reason lol. Always wanted to see Nas in the studio(in the booth)rhyming. To see what his swag and shit is like when he spittin that crazy shit he comes up with. Its always been a "rare footage" to find Nas actually in the booth
Congratulation C.Sick... u made NAS made it for more...
Nas went in on that beat i don't know you but well done keep doing you
Happy Birthday Nas.
Idk why this song never made it to an album or at least a lost tapes
Imagine being in the studio giving The God M.C. NAS Escobar direction on a song, that $hit would be CRAZY!!!! And the best part is the beat he produced is ILL AS HELL!!!
Nas humble as hell asking him even tho he knows. Nas the goat.
Nas is the greatest to ever touch the mic. The goat. 🐐
NAS AN C-SICK, GOOD COMBINATION!
Ultra Nate - Free.
"louisville slugger? did they have those back then? whatever its good enough for rap" haha
:) great to see Nas at work in the studio with new cat C-Sick on production - lovin' this tune already. one question though - how come Nas never layed on a Diana Ross track (like ain't no mountain)? Think his flow would fit just right for him...
C-Sick may be this generation's best producer. This is one of Nas' best songs.
No its not one of his best 🤦 tho i love the song and think its hard nas is the goat. But to say its one of his best is crazy 😂
C made a great beat for him!
true stories fam
@ImmortalVeteranPro Nas doesn't have fame? Nas is a legend lol
i love this song so fuckin much,,, beat is illlllllll..... nd naS FUCKIN MURDERS THIS SHIT... WHERE THEY DO DAT AT?!?
words from wise men
haha @ nas is writing lyrics on his phone, so ill.
No He is a mullato that means one of his parents is white and the other one is black read this i got this from wikipedia C-Sick (born Charles Dumazer) is a French/African-American Hip Hop producer from Chicago, Illinois. Born in France, C-Sick moved to Chicago when he was nine, and grew up on the south east side of Chicago, Illinois better yet known as the 'East Side' (87th & Jeffery)
what's that female vocal sample(???) or singing thru-out the song & at the end?
dope yo
@csonvet24
Actually, he gave Kanye (relatively unknown then) the opportunity to do most of the "The Blueprint." The same goes for Just Blaze.
dope shit. he shoulda been smoking a spliff with dude but its a legit thing so...you know.
in my humble opinion...from like 3:36 -3:41... u can see NaS admiration in this "white" kid hes working with.. C-sick is NASty
it sounds like marsha ambrosius to me
??? I thought this was about c-sick and nas...where does tupac come into play? I bet you the type that still thinks he alive too..:P
hey boyz....what is this song?
0:18 SKEE TV
@mcblackside film
Excluding Frank Dukes
Is it me, or are these "Artist" or "celebrities" that the redbull contest winners won the chance to work with are Purposefully writing simplistic lyrics on the winners beats ??
Yeah. I mean Nas wasn't writing simple lyrics but they seemed very formulaic e.g. add a couple bars about my past in the projects, a couple about the mafia life, a few to tell young artists about fame, etc. You could tell Nas took his foot off the pedal here which was pretty unfair to C-Sick because he made a dope beat.
Kaizer-Man yea it seems like nas didnt put much into it. Like young buck on brainstorms beat too. And bun b on the other winners beat.
@@Spider7xx you dont feel lyrics were good? They were alright to me he told a story with them. He had to write them on the spot remember
@@KaizerMan You think Nas' lyrics weren't elite? You just tripping fam. This is peak Nas.
@@jeromesimz6271 There lyrics here are top of the range. Cuz just don't get'em.
i stand corrected..he is not white
You crying bruh?
no not at all bro.
tupac comes into this page as i replied to some comment
fact is he is NO1.
what would aslo be dope if eminem was featured too with that slim shady and marshall matter lp style
check out my beats at the beat cypher watch?v=A5TMHiHphJ0
His father is white I met him
