Its a Car ... its a disco ... Yipeee.
100% agree about the plastic on the seat head rests - I have the same on my EQS - there is nothing luxury about that. Also, display based climate control controls look cool and futuristic until you try to use them. I really don't get this urge to get rid of physical buttons - the previous gen GLC had these amazing, expensive looking and feeling intuitive buttons that were so much pleasure to use. And now it's really a challenge for me to adjust cabin temp or fan speed in a moving car. Yeah, you can use "Hey Mercedes" - but is this really more convenient than a good old button?? I hope Mercedes designers will reconsider this "screen everything" trend. Same goes for steering wheel buttons - it's really night and day how much better the old physical buttons were compared to the current touch based controls. I agree that this new GLC looks absolutely stunning! IMO one of the most beautiful cars out there. But these fake exhaust pipes is just a joke - the same as synthetic engine sound on the new 2.0 turbo AMG cars (C63 S). Whatever happened to celebrating the car's purity and making things convenient vs following trends...

Love the interior and especially the ambient lighting. Too bad the rear doesn’t have any lighting tho..🤷♂️

No. If you can afford the extra 20k to 30k get a GLE 53 AMG coupe. I’m getting the GLE in September, I was gonna get the GLC but I want more HP under my feet.
