I can tell you from sitting in a new C Class myself that this slight angle of the screen is just right. This way it's pointed right at the driver and when you sit in it for real, it definitely feels intentional
It absolutely is intentional, they wanted to make the c class more driver focused while the models above it are more focused on multiple passengers or a chauffeur
Audi Q5 Sportback or even X4 looks much better than GLC Coupe. Even interior for GLC Coupe looks more uglier as come with iPad audio display screen than previous gen GLC Coupe
I hope Mercedes incorporates some v8’s into their upcoming models including redesigns because I think there’s too many 4 cylinders especially for amg models
I've always liked the GLC Coupe more than the GLE Coupe, and the new one is no exception. The new GLE Coupe looks too bulbous in the rear, and the coupe proportions don't seem the fit the GLE as a whole since it's a larger vehicle. The coupe proportions fit the GLC better because it's a smaller vehicle overall.
It looks better overall on the exterior and I’m very glad they improved the look of the taillights because the last generation’s taillights were horrendous looking. I wish they didn’t angle that giant infotainment screen towards the driver though because in a suv…. “coupe” 🙄 it shouldn’t have a screen angled to driver even on a 63 model and one that big eirher but if it were a sideways and of course smaller screen I wouldn’t mind it as much

I actually appreciate the high seating position and spacious interior of the new GLC. I have owned two of them and they are great for my daily travels. The Merc has a superior cabin quality compared to other brands in the same segment. This model is the best one yet. With the C-class getting an early update even earlier then the GLEs and the sky high interest rates, I might consider saving some money and opting for a smaller more affortable Merc and without compremising on comfort. This is the best GLC yet and I'm looking forward to it.
The best thing in mercedes front logo is that all the sensors are hiden in there so it doesn't look weird like in the other cars like audi and the s class that has the star on the hood i used to hate that new logo that looks like a sticker and it look so much better the old one on my c63 from 2013 but when i saw cars with big square box in front just for sensors i changed my mind
They drive fantastic. Sporty but comfy with a good punch. Porsche and BM are great sporty car but not as comfy like Merc in long drives. GLC coupe has a very elegant interior Abbas very pleasant to the eyes.
@@27After2to each their own but even if I didn't chrome delete, I think the whole diffuser in chrome was overkill given the pinstripe nature of the rest of the chrome bits. Just chrome the fake exhaust tips to finish the look.
I ski.... i never fill up the rear on a suv higher than the sides so I don't block the windows... a raked roof has really no effect on usable space... This vehicle is on my short list...
The PHEV Version will be also avaible in the US. It will use the same battery as the 167 (GLE) gross capacity 31,2 kWh so real a electrical driving range of 60 miles is possible. That’s really impressive. You can run this car mainly as an EV and if your are heading for long distance journies you just sit in the car drive comfortably and fast without thinking „where will be the next charging station, will it be free, will it work, will there a queue infront of the charger“ For me that luxury driving experience. Being nearly independent and drive whenever whereever i want
If I had one of these I'd lower it, get rid of the big logo in the grille, and replace it with a black mesh grille, and get some deep dish wheels (matte black barrels with gloss black spokes). I'd also want to refinish all the chrome trim pieces, and make them gun metal or flat black against the gloss black.

Amg should’ve stuck with the 6 cylinder engines and added the hybrid system on top of that. Would’ve been way better. That being said, the screen in these new cars are the perfect angle for the driver. Trust me, it’s perfectly balanced and fine for the driver.
The GLC Coupé looks ok. Not to compare to the horrible GLE Coupé (not the back view), X6, and X4. The Audi Q8 is by very far the most attractive SUV Coupé. Q3 Sportback also ok; or even the small VW Taigo. Land Rover / Range Rover, as well as Mazda and Volvo don't need to add "Coupés" to their offers. Their SUV are per se attractive, well proportionned, without embarrassing aggressivity.
If anything, Mercedes needs to upgrade their sedans, the S class needs to challenge the 7 series. BMW killed it with the interior especially Mercedes stills has the better ambulant lighting but everything else is better than Mercedes and the exterior. The sf class looks like an old man car compared to the. 7 series.

I think the rear looks absolutely awful and is way worse than before. The old model was weird, but now it's like the EQ models : flat, all rounded, and very bubbly. It looks extremely weak. The front is not bad but is not good. It is a small improvement over the old one. I think Mercedes shouldn't do this model. It's not a pretty car, and it makes no sense because, as you said, it ruins the utility of an SUV and ruins the sportiness of a coupé. It doesn't even sell well. A total waste of time if you ask me.

the S63e performance has tha v8 + hybrid system. It gives off almost 800hp.
