Excellent comprehensive review. I've had mine a month now, best GLC coupe so far, (and this is my third). Aside from the minor points mentioned, it's a very smooth, quiet ride, luxurious and feature packed. Yeah it's expensive but that's the nature of any premium product.

Will there be a base petrol version? I can see GLC 300, GLC 220D but no GLC 200 in UK, strange. Since there are no Autobahns in UK, a 200 petrol version would be nice.
Other than the question, this new generation looks improved and nice (although higher prices due to inflation…). Seat cooling must not be underestimated, you never now these days with the climate change… 25C in London today. Great video as always Thomas! 🎉

I've subscribed to and viewed many of your reviews. The one major component that is consistently absent is any reference to the reliability track record that each model has. These cars are expensive - obviously. And purchasing one is a longer-term commitment. The reliability factor is of immense importance. It's not all about the aesthetics and the "at the moment" driving characteristics. I would ask that you at least reference the reliability trends for each make and model as part of the review. In the case of Mercedes (of late) it's not good.
A valid point. Reliabilty tables are very useful especially when making a considered purchase. Strange how new cars have blind spot / parking cameras installed but the desire for dash cams fitted as standard is resisted by car makers.

It’s a shame in the US the GLC 300 isn’t offered with rear axle steering or air suspension
Very cool outside with the blue colours. The sport suspension is quite uncomfortable. Inside is a little bit noisy at high speed. The artificial leather on the doors and the dash looks cheap. The 200 petrol engine is quite sluggish

I am not going to say it is UGLY but those head/taillights dont appease me at all, but the proportions are better with this one than the first gen

A few years ago it was an interesting model, now it has been surpassed, very small differences
The AMG badge is so watered down now.
"AMG line" just means aesthetic changes. Other manufacturers do similar stuff.
You can tell a "true" AMG from the front vertical grills or by its model name - 2 digital instead of 3 (eg GLC 43 vs GLC 300).
@@GabrielRM or just reserve the AMG badge for you know, actual AMG vehicles. The Honda Ballade AMG is more AMG than this Mercedes.

All depends on which package you go for and which additional options you may want to - but it ain’t cheap of course. All prices are on the MB site.

Because it’s an AMG line which means fake sportiness , fake exhausts, fake spoilers, fake diffuser, etcetera.
Be warned: Hello, are there any other customers with a GLC W254 (2023) -same goes for the GLC coupé or the 2023 C classe (w206) with an incomplete the ambient lighting
(despite having paid for the SA894 option)?
FYI, The assembly plant runs out of LEDs (among others) and assembles the vehicles without installing the missing LEDs. (Air vents, door handles and central console edges)
They deliver the NEW GLCs to customers and IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO HAVE A RETRO-FIT NOR A REFUND. Quote Mercedes-Benz.
This is how we are treated: "the customer just has to be happy to be able to pay a good price for a one of our vehicles..."
You don't believe me? Ask your dealer (they ave an internal memo with the details)

I can say I hate it on mine. Fingerprint magnet, dust collector and scratch paradise. Doesn't even look premium when it's clean and new..
I've got mine in carbon fibre grey so doesn't show really.

@@mannegar7650 Together with the exterior it's the complete package with which I'm 'thrilled' with, having thoroughly researched all competitors including BMW, Jaguar, Porsche & Landrover.
Not a coupe..... "A coupe is defined as a closed roof, 2-door passenger car with a three-box body for the engine and the passenger compartment. Most importantly, a coupe is a vehicle with interior space that is under 33 cubic feet."

Mercedes more luxury but bmw they so basic in the inside but the outside look very sporty
@@wealthydmo500mercedes inside is not luxurious. It's full of plastic trims and constant rattles. They just look nice on the eyes - when you actually touch them, it's all plastic
@@HaruHaruman I’ve just bought one and can categorically say there is very little plastic, the plastic at the bottom of the doors is handy as this area often gets kicked/muddy so it’s easier to keep clean.
Keeping styling aside I believe the q5 provides much more substantial value than glc
It drives much better than merc
Even Dacia Duster has better door closing quality

These v6 engines and 4 cylinder engines sound HORRIBLE TO MINE EARS.
Brilliant review as always. I always find Mercedes very disappointing from a quality standpoint. They make cool looking cars but they interior is always lacking those extra details that other manufacturers have (Audi, BMW, Lexus)... Some of the sacrifices they make I'd expect VW to make but not such as "Premium" brand.

This car seems to me not solid and too plastic or a thack as someone said here before. 2,0 for everyone with no choice! Why? The price, ridiculous expensive! I quit sorry.
For the price of this car with that piano black shit on the middle,I'll buy a Lexus NX and save 15000 euro. 😏
It's also available in carbon fibre grey which doesn't show any fingerprint marks.

Mercedes always have concentrated on the interior and their night club lighting but they have always been boring and nowadays are even worse. Like a blob 😁
I think it’s a very ugly car. Same goes for all the other SUV “coupes” from Mercedes and BMW. The only one I like is the Porsche Cayenne Coupe.
